Once the fusion had ended, questions filled my mind, but there was no one from whom I could find answers.
Without a doubt, my entire existence had changed.
I even felt a subtle shift on my human side.
It seemed like I was transforming into something beyond human.
A race called Genesis Serpent? I had never heard of that before.
But, if I remembered correctly, wasn't the Genesis Serpent the one who tricked Eve into eating the Forbidden Fruit...?
At this thought, I shuddered.
What kind of story had I involved myself in?
I even noticed a serpent mark on my right shoulder—it took the form of a black tattoo.
Even if I wanted to be surprised, I felt drained.
There were too many changes to the point where I became numb.
All I could do was sigh while donning my clothes and armor.
Afterward, once I was done, I called the four Saintesses.
"Daniel?" Katie called with a startled expression.
