Aurelia's Release
After seeing the conditions were safe, Seth returned to take the plasma reverser attached to the corridor floor. Now, all that appeared before Seth was the emergency staircase door destroyed by the reflected laser fire.
Aurelia could only remain silent, unable to say a word. Her eyes were still wide, having no idea that she was witnessing such a horrific massacre for the second time.
"How is it possible that not a single shot from them hit you?" asked Aurelia, curious.
Seth didn't answer Aurelia's question, but Alice would be happy to explain the reason why the three of them were completely unharmed. The woman continued describing the workings of Seth's plasma reverser to Aurelia.
Unlike Aurelia and Alice, who were still walking in the corridor approaching the broken wooden door of the fire escape, Seth was already standing before a pile of corpses and human organs scattered all over the place.
