Sophie's Difficult Decision

"Officer Rick, hello. I've heard a lot about you, and I'm glad you could make it back," Seth said, leading Charlie, Bill, and Paul up to the rooftop. With a casual glance at Sophie, who was looking down with tightly pursed lips and a flushed face, he smiled at Rick, who sat in the middle of the rooftop with a hostile expression.

"Are you Seth?" Rick looked at Seth with wariness, a hint of disdain and hostility in his eyes. "I heard you came back to take us to your shelter. Do you really have one?"

Seth casually glanced at Rick, noticing the stark difference between the current Rick and the legendary hero sheriff. Rick now resembled more of a vagabond.

Seth couldn't be bothered to deal with this somewhat self-important fool and had no intention of taking someone like Rick to his mansion. However, out of respect for Sophie, Seth chose not to embarrass Rick.
