Gathering Resources, Revenge Plan

"Knock, knock, knock…"

As Seth was mentally planning his next steps based on Andy's memories, there was a sudden knock on his door.

"Who is it?"

Seth asked coldly.

"Brother, it's me, Helen. Mom, Dad, and Jerry have gone out to a party. Would you like to have dinner with me?" A hopeful, childlike voice came from outside the door.

Seth slightly frowned. His half-sister, sharing the same mother, seemed to be closer to him, in contrast to her relationship with her full brother, Jerry.

While this was a good thing, Seth had no desire to spend time with Helen at the moment.

"No, I'm not hungry. Thank you, Helen," Seth responded firmly, then pressed his ear against the door.

After hearing the muffled sound of little Helen's disappointed footsteps fading away, he slowly opened the door.

In the house, Andy, Helen, and Jerry all had their rooms on the second floor, while Peter and Cecilia resided on the third floor, each with their own spacious bedrooms and bathrooms.

The first floor was inhabited by security personnel and servants.

According to Andy's memories, he had only been to the third floor once and was quickly chased down by Peter.

On the other hand, Jerry and Helen often played with their parents on the third floor.

If anyone knew the third floor well, it would be Helen, the youngest and most cherished by her parents.

After pondering for a moment, Seth decided against asking Helen for help.

He tiptoed up the luxurious marble staircase to the third floor. The first thing he saw was an opulent European-style living room, adorned with various artworks and a rosewood floor. Seth guessed that stealing just one of these items could fetch a considerable sum of money.

However, Seth didn't have the time to sell these art pieces right now.

He needed to find cash and firearms!

After a brief search in the living room, Seth directly entered the bedroom of Cecilia Seymour and Peter Brandt.

Ordinary people probably wouldn't leave cash and firearms lying around in the living room, so Seth's main target was their bedroom.

It was a luxurious yet cozy master bedroom. The room was dominated by purple hues, complemented by pink lighting, giving it a mysterious flair and inducing a subtle sense of desire and impulse.

The heart-shaped, oversized waterbed was covered with soft, clean silk and down comforters. Seth imagined that exercising on such a bed would be an ultimate pleasure.

Without spending too much time observing, Seth began searching through the bedside tables and wardrobe.

Inside the wardrobe, besides countless expensive, branded lingerie, there were various quirky intimate items.

These things were of no use in a post-apocalyptic world. However, a set of dog leashes and a pair of leather handcuffs among the intimate items caught Seth's attention.

As a thirty-year-old man, he was well aware of the purposes of these items. Even if he hadn't tried them, he had seen them in movies.

"This... could be useful..." Thinking of Nicole Todd's haughty demeanor, Seth envisioned a perfect scene, a slight smile curling on his lips. He tucked the dog leash and handcuff set into his pocket.

In addition, aside from finding the S&M set, after searching for a while, Seth only found a stack of U.S. dollars casually placed in a corner of the bedside table.

It was a little over thirteen thousand dollars.

Seth carefully took a thousand dollars from the stack, silently returning the rest of the money to its place.

A thousand dollars.

It was more than enough to purchase a good chainsaw!

Taking a thousand dollars should go unnoticed by the wealthy Brandt couple.

After leaving the bedroom, Seth checked the time again.

Another half an hour had passed.

He now had only two and a half hours left.

"There are no firearms in the bedroom... Where could they be?" Seth cautiously approached another door along the hallway.

To his surprise, this room's door was locked.

After glancing at the ornate steel security door, Seth ultimately decided against breaking in.

After searching two more rooms and still not finding the coveted firearms, Seth unexpectedly discovered an antique katana in Cecilia Seymour's study, stored in a wooden box.

The katana wasn't very long, about half a meter, but it was exceptionally sharp and felt great in his hand.

Cecilia Seymour had carelessly left the katana in a small cabinet for miscellaneous items, seemingly not placing much importance on it.

Seth, holding the katana close, quickly made his way downstairs.

Not finding any firearms in Peter's room, Seth decided he had to take a risk with the security personnel.

From Andy's memories, Seth knew that Peter's bodyguards were retired U.S. special forces veterans, always equipped with firearms and ammunition. More importantly, within Andy's memories, there seemed to be a buried secret, a potential lead.

Since Peter had hidden the firearms so well, Seth's only option was to target the bodyguards.

After finding a video recorder in Cecilia Seymour's study, Seth made his way down to the first floor. Following the layout he remembered, he opened a secured door leading to the area where the bodyguards and servants lived.

The place resembled a hotel, with a total of six rooms, each marked with a door number.

It was mealtime, so the area was relatively empty.

Seth carefully tried the door handles of each room, one by one. The first three attempts were unsuccessful.

However, when he reached the fourth room, he heard muffled moans of a man and woman from inside.

"Oh! Fuck!! Damn! Oh yeah!!..."

"Slap! Slap, slap! Slap! Slap, slap, slap, slap..."
