Time quickly approached ten in the morning. The weather today was excellent, with a cloudless sky and a scorching sun shining on the earth, raising the temperature of the entire town. Even in short sleeves, the weather made people feel a bit hot and sweaty.
The zombies around the mall seemed affected by the intense heat, dragging their bodies as if suffering from heatstroke. Some weaker zombies gathered in groups, retreating to shaded areas. The number of zombies on the streets suddenly decreased.
Seth checked his watch, then glanced at the situation of the zombies around the mall, nodding in satisfaction. He gestured to the people behind him, "It's about time! Let's go!"
With Seth's command, everyone followed the previous assignments and formed teams, heading downstairs.
Seth, being the strongest, took care of the youngest and most vulnerable, Serena. Sophie and Charlize were responsible for Elena. Bill and Paul took care of the somewhat disabled Rick.
