Prologue

The cloud covers the sky, completely hiding the stars. The moon's light cannot breach through the veils of darkness. Fog send chills to those who dare walk through the woods. The wind screech songs of woe.

And in the palace of obsidian, lies the Queen… of darkness.

An Admiral walk through the woods. Passing through weeping banshees. No growl of beast nor sneer of tortured souls can waver him from moving forward. Not even the accursed palace door can hold him back.

The looming door slowly opens. Dark halls welcome the fearless Admiral. Letting hungry wind crashing The Admiral's face.

But he never fazed, not even once.

Dimmed candles on the wall escort him through the hallway. At the end of the corridor, beyond the last door, lies the throne room. Where the Queen awaits within her solitude.

"Who dare enter my domain?" said the Queen.

The Admiral bowed. "Greetings. I humbly present myself, to the Queen." He said calmly.

The Queen looked sharp at The Admiral.

"I come here following hearsay that I may find someone who have yet to return. The people were looking for her. And I am here with hope that she may at least be safe." Said The Admiral steadfastly.

The Queen stand from her throne. Her gaze pierced through The Admiral's eyes. But The Admiral do not succumb to fear. "You, saw what I can do." Said the Queen with a grim voice. "You know what I did and what I may do."

Silence engulf them for a moment before Admiral firmly say "Yes."

Suddenly, the Queen turned into shadowy smoke and circling The Admiral like a curious Banshee.

"You came to me knowing that I can easily pull your soul out of your miserable life. Yet you have the nerve to come and see me." Sneer the Queen.

"I know who you were." Said The Admiral. His voice echo through the room. "You have the power of a God in your hand. A power that was entrusted to you, by a long lost friend."

Suddenly the Queen screech in sorrow. Filling the room with piercing cries. Strong wind spins in the room. Circling the Queen like a tornado. As if protecting her from anyone who comes near.

"It doesn't have to be this way!" The Admiral yelled as he tried not to get carried by the roaring wind. "There is still chance. You don't have to bear it alone"

Slowly, the wind fades. The Queen breathes heavily as she tried to regain her composure. The Admiral walk closer to the Queen and extend his hand.

"Come with me. And I shall see to it that you live, once more."

Leave the past behind... and start anew....
