Chapter 66 : Raid Plan

Axion walks back to the fighter's hall. Kaizo followed him.

Albi runs towards Axion. "Lady Axion," he called.

Axion stopped. Kaizo cautiously looked at Albi.

Albi stands speechless in front of Axion. There were so many things he wanted to ask. So many explanations he wants to hear. But he doesn't know where to begin.

"That was a good fight, Captain Albi," Axion start. "I hope we can see each other again another time."

Axion turns away. Albi wanted to stop her. But words can't come out from his mouth. He watched her walks away. Kaizo looked at the dumbfounded Albi for a moment before he follows Axion back to Cirque du Stellar.

At the circus, Ramenman and the others welcome them.

"Congratulations! You win the battle," said Phoenix.

"Thanks," Axion replied.

"I never knew you had such skills under your sleeve," said Ramenman.

Axion laugh. "I never had the chance to show it."

"Admiral Maskmana called. He told us to contact him ASAP," said Lahap.

"Hm? Is there an emergency?" Kaizo asked.

Rum, Ramenman, and Lahap shrugged.

"Well then, I suppose I should get going," said Phoenix as he tipped his top hat. "Wouldn't want to interfere in your team meeting."

"Thanks, Phoenix," said Axion.

Phoenix waves his hand as he walks away.

Rum put a holographic screen on the table. After a few moments, the buzzing screen turned into Admiral Maskmana.

"Greetings, Admiral," said the team as they give a salute.

"I see you've all been well," said Admiral Maskmana.

"Yes, sir!" Kaizo replied.

"First of all, congratulation on your victory in the tournament. I saw how you fight through live broadcast. The two of you have shown a remarkable fight," said Admiral Maskmana.

"Thank you, Admiral," said Axion proud.

"I have an update about your mission," said the Admiral. "We agreed to do a large scale raid on Planet Circus."

"A large scale raid?" Rum asked.

"Yes. With all your reports and cases at Planet Circus, we believe we need a large scale raid that can cover the whole Planet," the Admiral explained. "We already on our way with fleets from TAPOS and TEMPUR-A."

"3 stations join for a raid?! Is it really necessary to send that many fleets?" Kaizo asked.

"Well, it's plausible," said Axion. "Illegal workers at L'ultima cena, endangered animals at Cirque du sombre and alien trafficking at the black market. Seeing how these three cases happen on the same planet, obviously, we need more than a squad for a raid."

"Correct," Admiral Maskmana nodded. "From the reports that we got from Captain Albi, it is possible that the crime happening at Planet Circus might be related to Diabolos. How's your progress with Diabolos?"

"Diabolos is still on good terms with us. I also have the power sphere," said Axion as she showed the power sphere.

"TAPOPS station will take the power sphere since it's their expertise. There will be a lot of people chasing you now that you get a hold of it. Defend the power sphere until we arrived there."

"Yes, Admiral!" The team answered in unison.

"Until we arrived at Planet Circus, you are all on stand by. Then, I will be going off. I'll see you at Planet Circus," said Admiral Maskmana before he cut the communication.

"A large scale raid? It's more like a war," said Ramenman.

"Perhaps it is a war," said Axion. "Things are going to get messy. I better tell Phoenix about it."

"Do you think it's okay to tell Phoenix?" Kaizo asked.

"3 stations are sending fleets to this planet. This place is done for. It'd be better for Phoenix and the others to move away. Besides, we owe them. The very least we can do is to reduce collateral damage on his end," said Axion.

"And Captain Albi?" Kaizo ask.

"I will inform him too."

"Well, I hope he isn't in too much shock after you beat him," said Ramenman.

Suddenly, Axion's communicator beep. She opens the message.

"What is it?" Kaizo asked, noticing the sudden strain on her face.

"Diabolos invited me to come to the circus, tonight," said Axion.

"Can't you just ignore it?" Ramenman asked. "Considering that this Planet will be raided soon."

"If I avoid him, he might get suspicious. Having Diabolos escape this Planet before the raid is the last thing we want," said Axion.

"I'll go with you," said Kaizo.

"What does Diabolos want from you anyway?" Rum ask.

"I have no idea," said Axion. "But we need to make sure that Diabolos stay here until the raiding party comes. And while we're at it, it might be better for us to get more information and evidence around us."

Axion throw the power sphere to Ramenman. "You guys keep that safe while Kaizo and I deal with Diabolos," said Axion before she go.
