A Meeting with the God of Reincarnation
"Where am I?" I thought as I looked around this void. It was a dark place with distant white lights. I knew that I had died, but are those souls? Still, in a daze, a few minutes later a figure appeared out of the dark void.
"Welcome to the Void of Reincarnation, young one." Said the being who radiated power far beyond my imagination.
"What is this Void of Reincarnation, mister?" I ask politely as I waited for God to answer, a folder appeared in his hands and he sighed and said "This place holds the souls of many and depending on their Karma, they will be put in a place suited for them. I give some of these people a special chance to live in another world and with a few privileges."
"Hmm, uh mister can you tell me who you are?" I said as soon as he finished his explanation. He was currently looking at the contents of the folder, and while looking at the folder he said, "I am the current God of this universe and will be given you a second chance in another world."
"Why?" I asked and was quickly answered with, "Your Karma is quite high, and you will be going with 3 wishes."
"Mister, I don't remember what happened, so can you tell me?" I replied, stunned at the prospect of living another life in another world or universe.
"Well, you died by a bomb placed under your car going off. It was a competitor, and he wanted you out of the race." The God said as he looked at me with pity.
"What race?" I asked, puzzled.
"Well, you had a lead in creating a cure for cancer and your competitor was a coworker and he wanted the fame and money for creating the cure, so he killed you by sending someone to place a bomb under your car. Unlucky though he was found out by another one of your workers and reported to the police. He was sentenced for life." He said, and as his explanation continued on, I had a strange feeling on who it was.
I was utterly confused as I knew that the world's best scientists were all working together to get a cure and there should have been no competitors. It was an effort of all nations working together. Still thinking about it, I shook my head and focused on the situation in front of me. I looked towards the God and asked, "Can I get a system, but I would like it to be made by me? Meaning I want to say what it has instead of just getting one that might control me and my actions."
He was pondering for a second and said, "granted."
"I will not ask for all of the system. I don't like having the idea of a system giving me overpowered powers right off the bat. I just want a status page that shows my stats and an inventory. I also want the ability to level up by defeating living beings of any power. Either killing of knocking the person will give me a certain amount of experience. I want the stats to be, Strength, Agility, Dexterity, Perception, Endurance, Toughness, Thought-Speed, Talent. I want to have the stats based on human strength, 1 being the average for humans. It can be in decimal form when gaining strength. The reason I don't want any intellect based stats is that I am ok with my current intellect. I don't need it. I also want a section for skills I have learned and a mastery percentage. Some skills will evolve into something greater. A better skill, basically. That is all for the description for my first wish."
"You are a smart human, one of the better ones I have ever had an experience with." Said the God.
"Thank you, now on to my second wish. I want the ability called Kaio-Ken. This will go hand in hand with the stats Endurance and Toughness. Every level of Kaio-Ken will have the required stats. I can use it even without having the stat requirements, but there will be a backlash for it. That's what where my next wish comes in. It will be the same as Zenkai Boost from DBZ and I want the multiplier to be 2x. It will double my stats and that will be all for me." I said confidently.
"The Ability Kaio-Ken is granted, but the Zenkai Boost is not." Said the God will a smile.
Shocked, I looked at the God, but before I could ask a question, I vanished from the spot where I stood. The God in question thought to himself, "That ability is practically a cheat, but I will give him something that will help his journey. In his Starter Pack, I left a QI Cultivation manual. The amount of QI he earns will be based on his Talent stat. Hopefully, he survives his first destination, maybe it will be his Final Destination… Hehehe.
(No, he will not be going to the movie series Final destination. For those of you who do not understand what the series is, don't ask… HMPH.)
