Chapter 47

The highest monk who was close to the King was the one who initiated our wedding. Not really initiating it but more like bless it - Yishen wanted it to be between us. He wanted us to take vows that we would stay with each other, that he would never leave me. Also more importantly he wanted to say the vow in front of everyone.

The most important vow was the one where he would help me reclaim my throne.

"I, Yishen King of Leilani and the heir of His deceased Majesty, King Yushen Emperor of Leilani and all its surrounding counties. I make a pledge with my sword and my blood, that I will fight for my Queen. I will help her regain her throne and kill all her enemies and anyone who will stand against her and our heir to follow" he said holding his blade in front of the monk.

I could hear certain chattering amongst the guests invited, it was surely they didn't expect for Yishen to plead that promise in front of all the people.
