Ryozanpaku...But It's Slightly Different?

"Uncle Doppo!" Miu screamed in excitement as she ran at the old man. When she looked like she was about to jump and hug the man, she jumped up and sent a flying kick at his head, a happy smile on her face.

"Little Miu, your kick is full of openings!" Doppo loudly laughed as he dropped into a stance and threw a punch which made the air slightly distort around us

While in mid-air, Miu bent herself backward using her innate flexibility, and dodged Doppo's punch.

Obviously, the man wasn't even trying, he was just messing about. Otherwise Miu would have been hit no matter what she did.

Miu's kick was easily caught and Doppo just pushed her back, letting her do a flip and land back on her feet. Her smile never wavered, even after her attack had been so easily stopped. A bundle of optimism and cuteness, is how I'd describe her after only knowing her for the past half an hour or so. Well, from the information I knew from History's Strongest Disciple, I already knew she'd be like this but seeing it in person is truly eye-opening.

"Hm?" Doppo was about to say something to Miu, but his single eyed gaze turned to me and Karla.

His eyebrows raised when he saw Karla's eyes, and when he looked at my eyes and the features I'd gained from Yujiro...his eyebrows raised even further while his smile turned savage. "So, a Kure Clan brat and a Hanma brat have both followed Little Miu home...what a surprise," he chuckled grimly, looking mainly at me.

Karla seemed frightened. I could practically smell the fear pouring off of her. Yet she kept a calm face with only a little bit of shivering here and there.

I, on the other hand, only glared at old man in front of me.

"I'm not a son of that bastard's, old man," I said sharply, even the thought of Yujiro Hanma being enough to annoy me into ignoring the chasm between our power. This man, Doppo Orochi, could flatten me like a bug.

My answer seemed to surprise both Doppo and Shio, as the latter laughed at how I addressed Doppo, and the former took off his sunglasses and leaned in closer toward me.

"Oh? Are you sure? Because you look quite a bit like him. Especially those red eyes--Oh, I get it," he said before taking in a breath before smiling a bit more gently at me, "You hate him, don't you? Well anyone with enmity with that man is on my good side. What about you, Kure brat?" He turned to Karla who just smugly smiled up at him.

"I'm Miu-chan's best friend, of course I'm with her," she said in a matter-of-fact voice, while Doppo looked to Miu for answers and seeing her give an excited nod, he turned back to us and was smiling like a normal, happy, and middle-aged, uncle.

What a weird guy.

"Ah, so a friend of Little Miu, and a kid who hates the Ogre - What can we do for you?" Shio smiled and said before taking a swig of alcohol and backing up out of the way to let us enter.

We all entered as Miu spoke out words like a machine gun, explaining why I was here and how I wanted to get stronger. Along the way, we met Apachai who was training his Muay Thai, and Akisame Koetsuji who was drinking tea and talking to his friend Kureha Shinogi, who was also from the Baki Universe.

When they heard that I wanted to train at the Dojo, they asked me why.

"I need to become strong otherwise Yujiro Hanma is gonna kill me mom and sister," I said as calmly as I could, but the anger in my voice showed that I was doing a terrible job at being calm. My words put everyone into silence, and Doppo quickly took Karla and Miu out of the room, not wanting them to hear anymore.

Akisame was the first to talk, his eyebrows slightly raised but inside his colorless eyes, I could see anger, "And Yujiro Hanma told you this himself?" he asked with a even voice.

All I did to reply was nod.

"Then it's settled," Kureha said as he walked towards me and squatted until he was at my level, "I'll train you if none of the other's want to. No man should threaten a child, even if he is the strongest," his face seemed annoyed and he looked back at Akisame, "Don't you agree, old friend? We could probably test out a few of those training methods we talked about. You wouldn't mind that, would you...?" he looked back at me, seemingly wanting to know my name.

"Yukiro Nishimiya is my name, and all I need is to excavate the potential of my abnormal body. If you two have some special training methods, even if they're only theoretical, I'll do it," I said with a determined expression. So determined, in fact, you'd be hard-pressed to see another 5-year-old with such an expression.

What I said, however, seemed to get Akisame's attention as he walked over and stood next to Kureha.

"What do you mean you have an abnormal body?" he asked with a calm voice, his eyes filled with curiosity as they scanned over my body in a surgical manner.

Standing up a bit straighter than before, I answered him, "My bodily tissue is much denser than a normal human's. My nerves are made up of a hyper conductive material that puts my innate reaction time beyond a human's. I also heal, recover, and recuperate much faster than a normal person," I said, listing off what was different about me. As I spoke further, the two doctor's eyes widened before finally they both smiled widely.

And before I knew it, these two guys were poking me and prodding me, checking out the strength of my body.

"Oh, Akisame, look at the flexibility of his joints!"

"Kureha, feel how strong his heart is!"

"Here, Akisame, look at how quickly his motor reflexes kick in!"

"His muscles must be 50-ish times denser than a normal human's, am I feeling this right or am I going senile, Kureha?!"

This went on for a while, with Sakaki just drinking from his bottle of alcohol every once in a while. He seemed to be waiting for Doppo to get back. Luckily, he didn't take too long to get back, and once he did, he turned out to be my savior.

"What the hell are you two doing to that kid?!" he yelled as he came over and pried the two medical men away from me, stopping their incessant prodding and poking. He squatted in front of me and had a wry smile on his face, "Sorry kid, did you tell them you had a special physique or something? Because I've only ever seen them like this when they met a kid with super-dense muscles about a decade ago," he laughed toward the end, seemingly remembering something.

"I told them about my special physique, yes. I instantly regretted it," I sighed before looking at Doppo, "Are you a Master at this Dojo, Uncle?" I innocently asked. If he was, I'd have to search else where but if he wasn't...

He looked surprised for a second before he shook his head, "No, I'm just good friends with the masters here. Why do you ask, kid?" he tilted his head at me, curiosity clear in his only eye.

But hearing his answer, all I could do was smile. Well, my luck isn't fully shit, I'll give you that, God.

"Because I want to learn Martial Arts from you. So I can beat 'that' man," I said, a vicious streak coming through to my voice when I thought about my goal, "Physical strength is a necessary tool to take 'him' on, but I need technique to supplement it. Both are required. The masters at the Ryozanpaku Dojo wouldn't want me to use their martial arts to kill, right?" I looked to Akisame and Kureha who looked at me, slightly shocked at my admission that I wanted to kill, so I decided to clarify it, "I will kill that 'man'. For what he did to my mother, I'll kill 'him'. I won't be a wanton murderer, but for 'him' I will have to break that rule. I will not do the masters of this Dojo the dishonor of me using their martial arts to kill," I bowed my head toward Akisame and Sakaki.

"So you wish to learn off of me..." Doppo said, as if thinking about what to say. It didn't take long for him to decide, "Okay then! I'll teach you my Shinshinkai Karate! Teaching the Ogre's son so he can kill him...Hahahahaha!" he started laughing heartily as if the very thought of me using Shinshinkai Karate while killing Yujiro was the funniest joke in the world. "The Ogre took my eye, so I'll teach you just so you can return the favor to him!"

Smiling to his reply, I also saw the irony in it, and I bowed, "Thank you for taking me under your tutelage, sensei!" I said loudly and clearly.

"Good, good! Finally I've got a disciple with some goddamn manners!" Doppo clapped me on the shoulder before I looked up at him, awaiting some form of instruction from him. He complied after sharing a glance with Akisame and Kureha, "You should go and be their lab rat for today, kid; tomorrow is when we start. Get here around 7:00am and we'll start getting you used to the stances. Got it?" he said with a jolly yet fierce expression. It was an odd combination to see, honestly.

All I did was nod in reply before walking over to Akisame and Kureha, while Doppo walked over to Sakaki and started gloating about how he had a disciple, while Sakaki didn't have one.

"Nishimiya-kun, you realize that even if you don't use our martial arts to kill 'that' man, you will still be using a body made through our collaborations...it's the same concept, no?" Akisame asked me, his voice even and lacking any kind of judgement against me, yet I felt like he was disappointed to some extent.

Sighing, I gave an equally even reply, "Then I will have to selfishly ask you to ignore such a fact. If it helps you deal with it any better, think of it like this; is the person who built a gun responsible for the people who are killed by his product? No, they are not. They were simply doing their job. It is the person who pulls the trigger that is at fault, not the gun maker," I paused for a few seconds before finishing, "I'll be the person who pulls the trigger. Your minds can rest easy and without guilt."

I gave my opinion and simply looked at the two of them. Three pairs of eyes stared back and forth between one another, seeing what the other was thinking. Finally, Akisame sighed before speaking.

"You're very intelligent for such a young child. Very mature as well," he mused before shaking his head and carrying on, "Very well. I can live with this, as long as you don't use any of my martial arts to do it."

Kureha, however, just nodded his head, "I had no such problems anyway, Nishimiya-kun, so we can start right away, if you want? We need to see the limits of your physique while also figuring out a workout that won't impede your growth, yet will still allow you to exercise your muscles properly..." Kureha went into deep thought and starting mumbling to himself with a hand on his chin.

Seeing Kureha looking deep in thought, I looked to Akisame, "I'm willing to start now, but I've gotta be back home by 2 O'Clock; That's when my sister's school day ends and if I'm not with my mom to pick her up...she gets really grump with me," I said, non-perturbed by admitting that I had a slightly bro-con sister.

Akisame nodded and looked to the clock in the room before looking back at me and tapping Kureha on the shoulder to get his attention.

"It's 10:00am currently, so we have four hours to see your limits, Nishimiya-kun; let's get right to it!"

Both Kureha and Akisame looked at me with slightly sadistic eyes and I steeled myself for the torturous testing methods that were about to come my way. But when I thought about what I was doing this for...nothing seemed like it was too much for me to handle. All of it was to take down Yujiro and protect my mother and older sister.
