Chapter 1 : Past Memories

Chiteki Kettei would be dreaming about his past life. They would see a fire and 5 people laughing, roasting marshmallows, and having a good time. His dream would then shift into a nightmare, he would see a bathtub filled with water then a person approaching him holding a toaster, the person would smile and then throw the toaster in the bathtub laughing. Chiteki would jolt up in a cold sweat. He checks his alarm and saw it was a few minutes before his usual wake . " not again. Why? why are these memories haunting me? Who are they? Why do I have them? " Chiteki said while getting ready. He would go downstairs and eat breakfast while searching up an incident about 6 bodies found in a wear house. " hey mom can you tell me the story about the ' blood bath ' incident? " Chiteki said as he finished his breakfast. " well sweetie once there was a group of 6 that was close to each other, they were like a close family tho none of them were related in any way. One was a leader and was determined to keep all of them safe. One was down to earth and was always helping even if it was small. One was adventurous and was always on their feet. One was rowdy and liked causing mayhem. One was cheery and curious. The last one was like a guardian to the five, they were their eye in the sky I should say " Chiteki's mom said while giving Chiteki his lunch. Chiteki would kiss his mom goodbye then walk out the door and go his route to school. When Chiteki arrived at school he would see his friend group waiting for them at the gate . " y'all could've gone to class instead of waiting for me you know " Chiteki said while approaching them ." But that's no fun, we have to wait for our leader you know " Yaban said confidently. Chiteki would sigh then wave his hand to tell his gang to follow him. They all followed Chiteki and went to class, after they finished class all of them went to a food bar. " so has any of y'all been having weird dreams and nightmares lately? " chiteki said as he opened the door for all of them. All of them nodded as they sat down at a table, Chiteki went to the line that was long to get food. When it was his turn to order he saw that the person was familiar to him. " wait aren't you kashikoi the one who was the assistant of the boss and had eyes for each other? " Chiteki said pointing at them . " how do you know that? most of all how do you know my name? " Kashikoi said in confusion. Chiteki shrugged " You just looked familiar and IDK why ". Kashikoi just shrugged it off and asks Chiteki about their order. " I'll have 1 happy meal, 2 number twos, 2 number fours, and one milkshake that will be it, " Chiteki said as he got out his wallet. Kashikoi told him his total and he paid. After a few minutes, Kashikoi went up to their table and handed them their food and drinks. They would pull Chiteki to the side and ask them " Hey um after my shift can I talk to you privately? I just wanna make sure of something ". chiteki nodded and then went to sit back down to eat. After they all ate and Kashikoi was finished with their shift, chiteki's friend left while he stayed behind . " so what do you want to ask me about Kashikoi ? " Chiteki said as he opened the door for them . " are you smarts? Or should I say Hayai Shisoka ? " Kashikoi said walking out the door . " who's that ? " Chiteki said in confusion . Kashikoi pulled out their phone and pointed at a photo of smarts " it's this person I'm talking about cause she's the only one that knows of this ". Chiteki looks at the photo and looks puzzled. " I don't think so, maybe you got the wrong person." Chiteki said as he waited for the bus to arrive. " hm... what about this photo ? " Kashikoi said as they swiped to a photo of Smarts and her friends. Chiteki looked at the photo and his eyes lit up. " I recognize them but I don't know their names sorry. " Chiteki said now glum . " it's ok but how do you know them ? " Kashikoi said grabbing Chiteki and pulling him into the bus . " in my dreams I see glimpses of someone's memories and I see the fun / happy parts but it mostly shifts to a nightmare of a person with a weapon, appliance or something bad. " Chiteki said as he sat down at a seat . " hm... that's odd, Ok 2 possibilities, either you're being haunted by her or 2 - " Kashikoi stopped as they noticed it was their stop. " Well see you next time just text me " . " but- " Chiteki said but it was too late. Chiteki sighed and got off the bus at his stop and went home. The next day Chiteki would have another dream about the five people fishing together and catching a huge fish then a nightmare about a pink-haired kid being dragged away from them. " NO! " he screamed. He would get ready for school and run to school. When he arrived he would go to his friends who were at the gate . " hey what dreams and nightmares have you guys had ? " . " well we both had the same one but from 2 different people's perspectives" Yaku and Ataeru said at the same time. " I have ones with a person that has a kind of mayhem/chaos kind of style." Yaban said fixing their uniform." I have ones that are way far from the past and mostly ones with the sky." Miru said as she motions them to move.the gang moved away from the gate and started walking towards the school." The only thing I can remember was a store and a dark room hearing people talking about taking someone out " Gimansha said opening the door for them. They all went to class and started planning on what to do after school. When afterschool came Chiteki would go to Kashikoi's house. He would knock on the door and wait for an answer when Kashikoi opened their door Chiteki would cover their mouth, push them in, lock their door, close their blinds, and turn off all their lights." what are you doing? " Kashikoi said questioning Chiteki ." I just wanna talk about smarts, so please work with me and my hectic questions " Chiteki said sitting down on kashikoi's couch. Kashikoi smiled at them and sat next to them. After half an hour of questions Chiteki said goodbye to Kashikoi and signed in with his group." So any info on the people from the bloodbath incident?" . " what we know is that one worked at a facility and the other was an entity of some sort "Yaku and Ataeru said on their walkie-talkie's . " what I know is that they went to [redacted] school and everyone knew them as the popular troublemaker " Yaban said on their walkie-talkie . " what I know is that they were taken in by a teen with glasses and looked sophisticated long ago " Gimansha said on their walkie-talkie. " I have no info since there was no [redacted] that lived here . But there was info on a being that is maybe similar to one of the people that was in the blood bath incident " Miru said in their walkie-talkie." What about you Chiteki? " Yaban asked . " well there mom is still alive and there house is at [redacted]" Chiteki said on their walkie-talkie."we can go tomorrow in the afternoon " Ataeru suggested. " can't , I have detention for causing a " food fight tide " . " Yaban said in a mocking tone . " well we can break you out of detention " Miru suggested. " it's not that easy, we have multiple monitors , the teacher never leaves until the end , windows are bolted shut , doors locked until principal arrives , they padded the walls , and the place is behind the trophy case " Chiteki said fixing their glasses. " how do you know all of this ? " Gimansha asked . " you guys forgot I'm the the head monitor and the principal trust me right ?" Chiteki questioned. " oh yeah sorry " all of them said apologizing. " it's alright but I might have a plan that might work but we need everyone to work together on this " Chiteki said grinning. Chiteki told them the plan and they all agreed to it.
