IV.III

"Seems like your lover boy is going the extra mile to make you his." Stephen whispered behind Celestia. She turned around and sent him a scowl. Someone should remind her how she ended up with him in her office. Her eyes glanced the large flower bouquet on her table. Its petals had a light glow with this addictive smell.

"Where's Azriel?"She asked moving close to take a whiff of the golden colored flower. "I have no idea where the leader is." Stephen replied watching her from where he stood. She gave him a suspicious look. "I don't know why I can't trust your words." She huffed stepping back from the flowers.

"Why don't you trust my words? If I knew where he was, I would gladly tell you besides you're closer to me than the rest." He replied. "That's what you been telling me for the past week. Where is Azriel?"She asked narrowing eyes at him, but he was unfazed. "Your compelling spell won't work on me Celestia." He chuckled shaking his head.

"Just tell me where he is." She said. Stephen kept mute before staring at her with a faraway look."Azriel has gone to the demon realm." Stephen replied watching her shocked expression. "The demon realm! Does he know what would happen to him if he stays there for long?" She exclaimed in despair.

"Look we told him but he was adamant on going. He forbade us from telling you." Stephen said. "He's going to die if he stays there for long. I'm going to find him Stephen." She said but he shook his head.

"Please don't he wouldn't be pleased if you go. The best you can do is to wait for him patiently." Stephen said in an attempt to coax her. "Wait for him? I'm loosing my mind standing here and doing nothing." She exclaimed.

"Where are you going Celestia?" Stephen asked following her out of her office. He heard her heels stomping the ground furiously as she pushed past angels blocking her way. "I'm going to find him what else!" She turned her head to him. He was catching up to her with worry etched onto his face.

She made her way out of the huge castle and stood still for a moment looking into the sky." Celestia please reconsider going there isn't safe." Stephen said walking to her side. He couldn't tell what she was thinking but her eyes held worry.

"Do you know why I'm so worried?" She asked still staring at the sky. He shook his head and she sighed. "It's Tholgos, the leader of the demons. He'd harm him if he found out Azriel and I are connected in any way." She stared at her foot.

"I'm sure I've heard his name before but I still don't understand."Stephen said.

"We were once engaged but I broke the marriage because of some personal reasons. He is still spiteful after that break up. I remember him telling me he'd wipe out any male that gets close to me."She said.

"So just let me go and settle this once and for all." She begged with her eyes. "Alright but I'll go with you." He said. "I hope you won't change your mind very soon Stephen. "Celestia said.

"My Lord we have a guest and it's an angel." Ruben whispered to Tholgos. His eyes held amusement as if he had found a new source of entertainment. He shifted in his seat and craned his neck to the silver haired demon. "An angel?"Tholgos asked playing with the wine glass in between his long fingers.

"Yes my Lord." Ruben answered nervously. "Let him in." Tholgos finally said after a minute's pause. Ruben was taken aback so he gave Tholgos another glance but his expression remained the same.

"What are you waiting for? You know I hate repeating myself Ruben." Tholgos said sending him a cold glare from his seat. He watched the silver haired demon scurry away like a scared pup.

"An angel huh? ....interesting." He mummered stealing a glance at his surroundings. How ironic. An angel visiting his domain that smelt of death, suffering, greed more specifically sin. Those holier than thou creatures, he rolled his eyes. He could never understand them and he had no intention of understanding them.

He heard footsteps approaching him but they were very light. A pair of the bluest eyes he had ever seen stared at him. The way they glowed in the dark throne room amazed him, it looked as if little stars danced in those orbs. The figure had long white hair with a pale face, muscular build and stood tall. Prominent were his six set of wings fluttering anytime he moved .

"Who are you? You smell like a seraphine but have the appearance of an archangel." Tholgos said with distaste in his tone. He wondered what a high ranking angel wanted with him. Thinking back he hadn't offended any of them he knew better not to cross their paths. Those angels were ruthless and would kill despite having an innocent appearance.

"I do not need to answer your questions Tholgos. I came to tell you to put a halt to your attacks on my domain."

"Oh you know my name? Wouldn't' it be unfair if you know my name but I do not know yours?" Tholgos said swinging his legs in his seat. His lips curled up in a smile. "Oh you do not need to tell me i know you're Azriel or should I say Mael's imposter. I know a lot about you but Celestia doesn't know does she?" He asked shaking his head in sheer amusement. It was obvious he was trying to infuriate the angel but he got no reaction from him.

"As for your proposal I'd think about it but on one condition."Tholgos said still staring at him. Azriel gave him a death stare but spoke anyways. "And what is this condition of yours." He asked.

Tholgos was silent for a while but his eyes moved to the door behind him. It was brief but Azriel saw a faint smirk before it vanished. The doors slammed open revealing a fuming Celestia with Stephen behind her. "Oh we have company."Tholgos said shrugging. Stephen avoided Azriel's heavy gaze on him. "I had no choice Azriel." Stephen said.

"What's the meaning of this Tholgos?"Celestia asked with her arms folded. He risked her sharp glance at her and shook his head either in amusement or disappointment she couldn't tell." If I remember correctly you said you wouldn't want to have anything to do with me but now you're here in my domain because of him." He pointed a finger at Azriel in a sneer.

"Are you afraid I'll do what I did to your brother to him...Well I wouldn't mind trying that .."He smiled but she glared at him making him pause midway. "You wouldn't dare try anything funny again Tholgos or I swear on Zeus's life you wouldn't see the sun the next day." She said walking up to him. When she was close she whispered in his ear.

"After all that's why Elaine killed herself because of your nasty personality. "She tapped his shoulder and smiled. He clenched his fist and said nothing.

Celestia risked a glance at Azriel with confusion. "And who is this?" She asked no one in particular. "Boy you're in trouble." Stephen whispered.

"Oh that's the Azriel you have been cozying with or should i say Mael."Tholgos replied with a a sacarstic tone. It was obvious he wasn't pleased in the slighest.

"Azriel is that you?" She asked staring at him but not moving. How could Tholfos tell her the six winged angel was Azriel more or less Mael. The person before her was stronger.

"Yes.." He answered her. She nodded and looked at Stephen for an explanation. When he gave her none she laughed.

"I see what it is now. So you two tricked me right. Zeus was right I should have never trusted angels in the first place. Youre a seraphine right?"She asked Azriel who nodded. He walked to her but she stepped back.

"Look I'm sorry I never wanted you to find out like this." Azriel said hurriedly when she made her way out of Tholgos's throne room.

"You know I really trusted you Azriel or should I say Mael. How hard was it for you to tell me." She said before leaving with a gust of wind behind her.

"You have a lot of explaning to do Azriel." Tholgos said bellowing in laughter. Stephen gave him with an 'I told you so look.'
