Annual Rebirths to End the Empire

"I didn't want things to end like this." She said, looking around. The empire she had tried so hard to protect was destroyed. Plagues, cross-empire wars, nothing was left. She clenched her fists, nails digging into skin. Drawing blood. Suddenly, her head jolted up as voices echoed. Whispering in her ear. Temping. "Your curse is to undo what was written on paper. Nothing more, nothing less." She smiled. Yes, the curse. The curse would save her. "So send me back. Give me Endless rebirths. Until I get it right." ~~~~ Pls help dis rando author ;-; I have dirt bank account and dirt writing skills but gold imagination ~~~~ Please give me viewssssss art release every 5k ~~~~ *read till at least the second chapter before you decide to ditch it pls* - UPDATES RANDOMLY (deal with it, suckers!) CHAPTER TWELVE - Not the only one (Sidekick)

CHAPTER TWELVE - Not the only one (Sidekick)

"No A Hair? What are you doing here?" I asked playfully. Noa frowned. "I'm being serious." Keep going, keep going! "Of course you are," I said cheerfully, beaming. Noa held out a hand and I took it, wobbling to my feet. "What did you want to say?" I asked, and Noa looked around. The hallway was perfectly deserted. "I… Have you fought off the angels before?" Noa asked, and I froze.

"What did you just say?" I said, in disbelief, and Noa scratched his head. "Uhm, I… Remember you from 300 years ago…" oooooooh, and Ally? And free funding? And a hand over both empires? I nodded. I had internally suspected that I wasn't the only one doomed to "undo what was on paper", but it was a bit surprising that it was Noa. Clearing my throat, I held out a hand. "You, uhm… Don't need to say thing else. I get it. But! one thing. Are you with me or not?" I asked, holding out my hand. Noa stared at it for a minute, and then said, "You get it…?" Oh. I do! "I mean, I always suspected that I wasn't the only one with the curse. What's your purpose, by the way?" I asked, and Noa stared at me. Then said, hesitantly, "I have to help you fulfill your purpose before I can die."

"Really?" I asked. Noa nodded. "Oh, so you're like a sidekick." I mused, rubbing my chin. "But maybe this isn't the best conversation to have in the middle of the hallway…" Noa said hesitantly. "Then what? a garden or something?" I asked, a bit puzzled. And what's wrong with a hallway? "No, uh…" Noa said, hesitant. Bruh! Don't keep me in suspense like this!

"You know what…. I'll tell you never mind. Bye." Noa said, sighing, ruffling his stylish hair, and walking off.
