You are dead

Maddie scoffed as she was cleaning the swords, oh what luck she had, she was just so angry, she was sure that without her, the others were having such a great time with Ollie, just thinking about it made her even more upset.

She blamed Matt for being so weak and allowing himself to be carried away by the so called charms of Ollie, she could not blame Annie, because she knew that Annie was usually nice to everyone, but she thought that she at least had Matt on her side, but oh boy was she wrong, and well Curtis, he did not care about what she thought at all.

"How great, Ollie this, Ollie that, blah, blah, he's so great, all nonsense, all rubbish, pure rubbish" said Maddie as she murmured to herself, she could not take this at all.

He was making her look like the bad guy, as if she was the insane one here, she was sure that was his plan after all.

"That blasted Prince, he really thinks that he can get what he wants, well no way, if he thinks that I will stand by and watch him do whatever he wants, he has another thing coming entirely" said Maddie as she looked at her reflection in the sharp blade of the sword.

Maddie was deep in her own thoughts, when she suddenly heard the sound of footsteps coming from the pathway as she looked up and her face contorted when she saw who it was.

Ollie was walking happily on his own, smiling… until he saw Maddie stare at him with a glare that read "you are dead" and then the smile on his face dropped, he could not believe that he had actually forgotten that she was told to clean the swords.

No wonder everything was peaceful and quiet back at the house, there was no Maddie to ruin it all with her attitude.

Ollie scolded himself internally for forgetting about Maddie, he thought that it would be an easy task to come back here, and look for Katarina's missing cloth, but with Maddie here, that would be impossible.

"What are you doing here?" asked Maddie in a tone that was laced in a mix of anger and danger.

Ollie was about to turn around and walk away, when he realized that why should he? Why should he allow himself to be scared by a girl who was even younger than him? And she was even shorter than him as well, this was just ridiculous, he was Prince Oliver Vinewreath, people bowed to him and not the other way round, he was not about to humiliate himself just because of a little girl, besides, he did nothing to her at all for her to hate him so much.

"Katarina can't find the red cloth that she uses to clean her sword, she thinks that it is here somewhere, she asked me to look for it" said Ollie as he replied casually, he was not afraid of her, but on a second thought, they were here alone, in the woods, and Maddie was armed with several swords, this was such a bad combination and setting for him right now. One thing he knew very well was that Maddie was crazy super crazy.

And even if she wasn't, she did a good job of convincing him and everyone else that she truly was.

"Whatever, just stay as far away from me as possible" said Maddie as she scoffed.

"I had no intention of coming near you at all" said Ollie as Maddie scoffed at him.

"I don't come close to people who have bad attitudes" said Ollie.

"Watch your mouth, because I'm not in a good mood thanks to you, just find whatever you want to find and get far away from here" said Maddie as Ollie scoffed and he started to look around for Katarina's red cloth.

He did not know what he ever did to Maddie to make her hate him so much, at first when they first met, he thought that she was only being childish and that she would soon get over it, but no, now he was sure that she truly did hate him a lot, and he didn't even know why, that was the worst part.

He did not ever remember him insulting her, or provoking her, if anything, he had tried to be as friendly to her as possible with no avail, Annie like him, Matt liked him, Curtis liked him, everyone that he had ever met always like him, but she… she was a totally different case.

Maddie pretended as if she could not see Ollie at all and she was the only one here, that was the only thing that would keep her sane, she continued to clean the swords as she was done with one, she put it back safely in it's case and she started on the next one.

Maddie could not stop her thoughts from racing as she thought of how easy it would be to get rid of Ollie right here right now, well they were both alone, and she had access to the right tools for the job, but then she was weighing the options of Annie and the others being angry with her forever, and also her becoming an enemy of the witch realm since she killed the heir to the throne.

She did not think that it would be worth it to be an outcast forever just because she can't stand Ollie, so she decided to just let it go, for now.

Ollie tried his best to stay as far away from Maddie as possible while trying to find Katarina's cloth, he looked everywhere, but he couldn't find it at all.

Ollie sighed as he decided to give up, maybe Katarina dropped it somewhere else. Maddie was done cleaning the swords as she put them all away safely.

Ollie turned around and he walked away as Maddie scoffed at him internally, Ollie decided to look around the path back to the house as he bent down and he picked up a rock as he threw it in the other direction and he felt his heart drop when he heard the sound of Maddie hissing in pain.

"Ouch" said Maddie as the rock hit her head and Ollie looked at Maddie with wide eyes as he knew that he messed up, he scolded himself, why didn't he just throw the rock ahead of him and not behind.

"Maddie, I am so sorry, so sorry, does it hurt?" asked Ollie as he rushed to Maddie, he felt so bad for what he did, he did not mean it at all.

"I am so sorry, I didn't mean it" said Ollie as Maddie rubbed her head.

"Oh that's it blondie, I'm done with this" said Maddie as she got up and before Ollie knew what was going on Maddie pounced on him and pinned him to the ground.

"What is your problem?" asked Maddie as she looked at him.

"I'm sorry Maddie it was an accident" said Ollie.

"You are an accident" said Maddie as she felt like hitting him right now.

"I am sorry, I am sure that the rock hitting you hurt, let me take a look at the bruise" said Ollie.

"Don't you dare touch me, I am sick and tired of you and anything that has to do with you" said Maddie as she looked around, she did not care if he did it on purpose or not, all she knew was that she was tired with all of this.

"Maddie, I said that I was sorry" said Ollie as Maddie scoffed and she picked up one of the swords as Ollie quickly got up.

"Maddie put the sword down" said Ollie as he backed away slowly.

"You shut up!" said Maddie as she pointed the sword in his direction and Ollie was now sure that she was very crazy.

"Maddie, think about what you are doing" said Ollie.

"I said that you should shut up!" said Maddie as Ollie kept on backing away as Maddie walked closer to him.

"Do you want to kill me?" asked Ollie.

"If that's an option then yes" said Maddie as she walked closer to him.

Ollie sighed, just what kind of mess did he get himself into? He had to get Maddie to drop that sword, before she hurt him and herself.

Ollie saw the wooden sticks that Annie and the others used to practice in the corner of his eye, so he quickly bent down and he picked up one of the sticks as he threw it straight at Maddie.

"Ouch!, Again!" said Maddie as the stick hit her head as she dropped the sword on the ground.

"I don't regret throwing that one" said Ollie as he quickly kicked the sword next to Maddie very far away and he ran far away from her.

"Oh you are going to die now Prince" said Maddie as she ran after Ollie as Ollie quickly picked up the second wooden stick.
