What a story

"That's a nice name" said Annie as she smiled and Alina shied away.

"Thank you" said Alina as she smiled, people rarely complimented her name.

"It's nice to meet you Alina" said Annie as she smiled and Alina let go of her hand.

"It's nice to meet you too Annie" said Alina as she smiled, she was so relieved that she found a nice person, because all these other people looked very upset with her, even though she did not try to kill their friend at all.

"Please forgive me, and believe me, I did not try to shoot an arrow at your friend on purpose" said Alina as she pleaded with Annie, she had to believe her.

"It's fine Alina, I believe you" said Annie as she smiled and Maddie scoffed, the only reason Annie intervened was because she was sure that Alina would not try to harm Curtis, and she was being wrongly accused, Annie knew that she would find it unfair if she was being accused of something that she did not do at all.

"Oh thank you, thank you" said Alina as she thanked Annie, she really was grateful that she had someone as nice as Annie here, or else she would have been in big trouble.

"If you were not aiming for Curtis, then why was your arrow seen heading straight for him?" asked Maddie as Alina turned to look at her.

"No, I only came to the forest to practice my aim, and I got distracted, which I always get warned about, but regardless, I shot my arrow in the wrong direction and it went flying straight for your friend, I did not do it on purpose" said Aline as she looked at Maddie.

"Hmm, what a likely story you have there" said Maddie.

"Maddie" said Annie as she looked at Maddie, she was being a bit too mean right now.

"If you say that you were distracted, how come you were right here, I could hear you, you were stepping on twigs" said Matt.

"Ahh well that… I heard voices coming from the stream, and well I got curious, because the stream is always usually quiet, so I went to go check who those voices belonged to, and well I saw you guys, and I was scared" said Alina as she explained.

"There are usually no people here, and I haven't seen you guys before, you are strangers, so I did not dare show myself, I hid in the trees, and well I watched you, wondering what you were up too, while I decided to practice with my bow and arrow, one thing led to another, I heard the sound of a squirrel in the trees and I let go of my arrow as it went straight for your friend" said Alina as she gave a detailed explanation of what actually happened.

"I am sorry for spying on you, I am sorry for accidentally aiming at your friend, and I am also sorry for running away, I was just so scared that you guys would blame me, so I ran away" said Alina honestly as she bowed her head to the ground, she was always taught to be honest, no matter what, even if it meant you getting into trouble, she will have to face the consequences.

"Of course, what a story" said Maddie as she scoffed, she was not one to believe people easily, if you trusted people too easily, that would be your downfall.

"That's enough Maddie" said Curtis as Maddie turned to look at him.

"Mister, I am so sorry for my arrow almost hitting you, please accept my condolences, I will do anything It takes for you to forgive me" said Alina as she bowed her head and Annie looked at Curtis.

"There is no need for that, it was only a mistake after all" said Curtis as he was not going to blame Alina, he should have been more alert, if not for Matt's quick reflexes, they would have another problem on their hands, and besides, this girl looked to soft to harm anybody on purpose.

"It's fine, you don't need to apologize" said Curtis as Alina looked at him with her big brown eyes and she smiled In relief as Maddie scoffed, of course Annie and Curtis were soft, well she was not, she still did not trust this girl at all, who was she anyway?

"Oh thank you, thank you, but I promise you, I will make it up to you" said Alina as she looked at Curtis, she was so relieved that he did not seem to hold a grudge.

"No need for that" said Curtis as Alina smiled at him.

"Oh thank you, you guys are so nice" said Alina as she smiled at Annie and Curtis.

"You are welcome" said Annie as she smiled.

"They are nice as well, we were just surprised by how fast everything happened, and the way you ran away" said Annie as she smiled.

"I am sorry for that, really" said Alina as she laughed sheepishly and Annie smiled at her, it would seem that Alina was about the same age as her and Maddie.

"That's Matt, Maddie, this is Curtis, and that is Prince Oliver" said Annie as she smiled and she introduced the others.

"Ahh, nice to meet you all" said Alina as she looked at Matt, Ollie and Maddie.

"I can't say the same" said Maddie out loud as Alina smiled at her.

"Sorry once again for what happened, we got off on the wrong foot" said Alina.

"Let's start again, the right way this time" said Alina as she smiled.

"Hi my name is Alina, it's nice to meet you all" said Alina as she smiled.

"Nice to meet you too Alina, sorry for the way I carried you" said Matt.

"It's alright I understand" said Alina as she smiled, she was sure that her master would have done the same, or even worse if someone accidentally tried to kill her.

"You sure can run" said Ollie as he laughed, who knew that a girl her stature would be able to run so quickly? She even climbed trees like a monkey.

"Thank you" said Alina as she laughed.

"I love running, and climbing, and being in the trees, that's why I came to the forest today, I like hanging out with the trees, I am usually alone, but well you all are here today" said Alina as she laughed, she made some new friends, she could not wait to go back home and tell her master and everyone else.

"I can see that" said Ollie as he laughed.

"Wait, are you a Prince?" asked Alina as she recalled that Annie called Ollie a prince.

"Well yes, I am" replied Ollie with a smile.

"Awww so cool, I am meeting royalty, it's an honour to meet you my Prince" said Alina as she smiled and she bowed her head.

"You can just call me Ollie, and there is no need to bow at all" said Ollie as he smiled.

"Oh thank you my Prince… oops, I mean Ollie" said Alina as she smiled and she raised her head.

Maddie was fuming, just what was happening here?? They were all being chummy friends with a total stranger, she did not like this at all, was she the only sane one here or what?? They were so not serious.

"Hey, who are you anyway?" asked Maddie as she was not going to let this go on.

"I am Alina" said Alina as she smiled and she turned to look at Maddie.

"So your Alina? Only Alina, no last name?" asked Maddie as she found this just stupid.

"What is a last name?" asked Alina and Maddie shook her head.

"You don't have any other names?" asked Maddie.

"No… not that I know of" said Alina as she shook her head, she would have to ask her master about it.

"Alright, wow, okay, how old are you Alina?" asked Maddie.

"Ahh well, I am seventeen" said Alina as she smiled.

"What are you doing here??" asked Maddie.

"I told you, I came here to hang out in the forest" said Alina as Maddie did not think that made sense at all, were there not supposed to be any people on Caligo?? Then where in the world did this girl come from.

"But this forest is uninhabited, and Caligo is supposed to be too, so why are you here?" asked Maddie once again as Annie had to agree with her, there were not supposed to be any other people here expect for them.

"Uninhabited??" asked Alina in confusion.

"That's not true, Caligo isn't uninhabited" said Alina as she shook her head.

"There are many more of us up here" said Alina as she smiled leaving Annie, Maddie, Matt and Curtis even more confused.

"Oh hey, no, I have to get back home now… before my master gets upset" said Alina as she walked to the tree and she climbed on it to get her bow and arrow.

"What do you mean home?" asked Matt in confusion.

"Yes home" said Alina as she smiled.

"Come on, you guys can follow me home if you want" said Alina as she jumped down from the tree to the ground and she smiled.

"Just be quick, I need to get home fast to make my master his afternoon tea" said Alina as she smiled and she started to walk in the opposite direction quickly.

Annie, Matt, Maddie, Curtis and Ollie all looked at each other, they were getting more confused by the minute.

"Let's follow her" said Curtis as he was curious.

"I agree let's go" said Ollie as he followed after Curtis who followed after Alina.

"Well I guess we are just following a random stranger then, how promising" said Maddie as everyone left her behind, and she followed after them quickly, she did not want to be left all alone here.
