The two of us

Everyone was in the dining room seated waiting for Henry to show up before they could start eating.

Bella, Jacob, Lucinda, Lucas, John and Lisa all sat next to one another as they spoke to each other while Elora was sitting next to Noey to help him out and Sapiens was sitting next to her, while Maddie and Evie were sitting together, and Matt sat next to his other siblings, which left Annie and Ollie and Curtis sitting next to each other as they spoke to one and another happily.

Evie frowned as she looked at Ollie who apparently said something funny to make Annie laugh and that made Evie frown, where did he just come from, and why was he so friendly, or rather too friendly with Annie??

"What's wrong with that Prince Oliver?" asked Evie as Maddie popped into her head.

"Oh my darling Evie, that's the same question I've been asking myself for the past six months that I've known the guy" said Maddie as she linked her mind with Evie's since she knew from the frown on her face that she was displeased with Ollie, which made Maddie very happy, finally someone who got her.

"I mean what's his deal? Why is he trying to be so close to her? Does Matt know?" asked Evie as she looked at Maddie.

"Well darling, I don't know what his deal it, it's probably what we are both thinking, and Matt that boy, does he know anything??" asked Maddie as Evie tried to signal Matt to look at what was going on between Annie and Ollie, but he did not seem to mind at all, he just kept on talking to Levi.

"Is he crazy or what?" asked Evie.

"I don't know with that brother of yours Evie, the funny thing is that back on Caligo, Annie and Matt did have a fight because of that blondie, but as Ollie, they resolved it" said Maddie as she scoffed.

"No way, they had their first big fight because of that Prince?" asked Evie in surprise.

"Oh they did, and it was very serious if I do say so myself, Matt didn't talk to Annie for days" said Maddie.

"Oh that is very serious" said Evie.

"Then what happened?" asked Evie as she wanted to know everything.

"Well you know, Annie apologized and they made up, and Matt actually started to become friends with that blondie" said Maddie as she explained.

"No what?? How can he do that, can't he see that he's his rival?" asked Evie.

"It beats me" said Maddie.

"I don't like that Prince Oliver at all" said Evie as she frowned even more.

"That makes the two of us" said Maddie.

"But we can't tell Annie about it, because if we do, she will say that I am the one influencing you and all that nonsense, and she won't be fair, as for her, she likes him" said Maddie.

"Of course she does, Annie likes everyone" said Evie.

"Exactly my point!" said Maddie.

Annie looked across the table to see Maddie and Evie who both had the same similar frowns on their faces, and she knew that they were both up to something, they were birds of a feather.

"What's wrong?" asked Ollie as he looked at Annie.

"Nothing, I just don't trust what Evie and Maddie are talking about, they are both up to something, I know them" said Annie as Ollie looked at Maddie and Evie who were both frowning.

"Should I be scared of having two Maddie's?" asked Ollie.

"No, not at all, I doubt that Evie would try to do anything to hurt you, she knows better than that, and Maddie, well I know what to do about her" said Annie.

"Well alright then, if you say so" said Ollie as he smiled.

"Oh I am so sorry for keeping you all waiting" said Henry with a laugh as he walked into the dining room and he sat down at the head of the dining table as everyone stood up for him and then sat back down after he had sat down.

"Not a problem father" said Lucas he smiled.

"I just had some things to take care off and it took longer than usual" said Henry as he smiled and everyone smiled at him.

"Oh I just want to say how wonderful it is to have everyone here, it's not everyday that the dining table gets filled like this" said Henry.

"As they say, the more the merrier, so let's all dig in" said Henry as he laughed and they all laughed as they started to eat.

"Your Grandfather is so nice, I never thought that the Vampire King would be this nice" said Ollie as he popped into Matt's mind and Matt looked at him as he smiled.

"Yes, that's my Grandfather for you, nice and friendly" said Matt as he smiled.

"Prince Oliver, I heard that this is your first time in my realm?" asked Henry as he looked at Oliver and he smiled as Ollie smiled at him.

"Ahh well yes it is my first time here" said Ollie as he smiled.

"Ahh I am actually very surprised about that, but now that I think about it, you truly never came to the Vampire Realm, only your parents did" said Henry as he smiled.

"But nevertheless, how are you enjoying your stay here?" asked Henry as he smiled.

"I am enjoying my stay very nicely your Majesty, your Realm is very beautiful and tranquil" said Ollie as he smiled and Henry smiled.

"I am glad that you think so, but if you are speaking about beauty then I am afraid that you haven't seen anything yet in this small space" said Henry as he laughed.

"Matt how about you show Prince Oliver around tomorrow morning?" asked Henry as he looked at Matt and he smiled.

"Of course Grandfather" said Matt as he smiled.

"Oh and Annie and Maddie can go with you as well" said Henry with a smile as Annie smiled.

"Can we go too Grandfather?" asked Levi as he smiled.

"I don't see why not, you all can go" said Henry with a smile when Lucinda cleared her throat and he looked at her as he remembered that he had allowed Evie to skip her etiquette classes this morning, and if he allowed her go, Lucinda would be upset, and he knew that she would be right to be upset.

"All except for you Evie" said Henry.

"Aww why not Grandfather?? I want to go" said Evie.

"Well you can't my dear, you skipped your classes this morning, and missing another one would not be good, it would put you behind schedule" said Henry as Evie groaned, but she kept her mouth shut when she looked at her mother.

"The coronation is in three days' time, and everything has to be ready, and they are not yet sorted out, but most importantly, you need to be ready" said Henry as Evie sighed.

"Yes Grandfather" said Evie as she just focused on her food, it was no fair, the others got to go and have fun while she had to be in boring etiquette classes, it was not fair at all.

"Elora, how is the dress coming along?" asked Henry as he looked at Elora.

"Oh wonderfully Henry, there are only a few finishing touches, but I am sure that Evie will look simply stunning it in" said Elora as she smiled and Evie smiled at her.

"That's excellent, now all that is left is cleaning out the ballroom, Isabella how is that going dear?" asked Henry as he looked at Bella and she smiled.

"Oh it's going great your Majesty, I asked Jakey to clear up all the things in there" said Bella as she looked at Jacob and he smiled at her.

"And I decided that the previous colour is rather bland and old school, so I'm repainting it, and Lucinda and I were waiting for everything we ordered to be delivered, by tomorrow, the ballroom should be set" said Bella as she laughed, she simply loved parties, and it was not every day that your niece got coronated.

"That is great news, I knew that having you in charge of decoration was a good idea, I trust in your ability" said Henry as he smiled.

"Thank you your Majesty" said Bella as she smiled.

"Jacob, how is everything going on with the security?" asked Henry as he looked at Jacob.

"Well father everything is fine, all the guards are on alert, and nothing will happen on the coronation day, I can assure you of that" said Jacob as Henry nodded.

"Lucas, and what about the officials that are coming from the four districts?" asked Henry.

"They assured me that they will certainly attend the coronation" said Lucas as he replied.

"That is good news to hear, I am sorry everyone, I just needed to check that everything was in order" said Henry as he laughed and the others laughed with him.

This was his eldest granddaughter's coronation after all, everything needed to be simply perfect, with no flaws at all.
