"Aha I found it" said Annie like she had just discovered a pot of gold.
"Found what?" asked Maddie as she looked at Annie.
"I found more information of Witches Brew" said Annie
"See it's in Chapter 20 of the potions book" said Annie
"Oooh okay" said Maddie
"It says here that Witches Brew is the most deadly poison, blah blah" said Annie
"Not only can it harm a witch themselves, but it causes imminent death to a vampire or werewolf" said Annie
"Symptoms of being poisoned by Witches Brew for a witch is hallucinations, excessive sweating, fatigue and finally death" said Annie grimly
"Wait so you are telling me that we are basically living, breathing, walking deadly poisons?" said Maddie as all those descriptions finally intrigued her.
"Yes, when you put it like that, I guess that we are living, breathing, walking deadly poisons" said Annie as she repeated what Maddie said.
"Wow why didn't I know this before??" asked Maddie
"If I had known this, I would have poisoned Azazel once and for all" said Maddie seriously.
"Hahaha" came the hearty laughter of Annie
"What's so funny?" asked Maddie
"What you said... you must be joking right?" asked Annie as she laughed, but her laughter ceased when she saw the serious look on Maddie's face.
"You are not joking?" asked Annie
"Do I look like I am joking?" asked Maddie
"No, no you don't" said Annie
"But, you don't really mean that? I mean Azazel is your father" said Annie
"Only in name" said Maddie as she replied quickly
"He never felt like a father, or even behaved like one, the kind of relationship we had was Master and slave" said Maddie coldly.
"Which is why if I had the chance, I would kill him myself" said Maddie
"But Maddie, you don't have to... you don't have to soil your hands with his blood" said Annie
"I know it seems like the only way to vent is revenge, but it's not the closure you need" said Annie as she tried to explain to Maddie that revenge was not the answer.
Maddie was silent.
"You really are not considering my words are you?" asked Annie
"Do I have to answer that?" asked Maddie
" *Sigh* No you don't" said Annie as she laughed as she could not believe her friend right now.
"But in the end I trust you, and I know that you would do what you think is best" said Annie
"Sheesh so much for making me feel guilty" said Maddie as she pouted.
"You see, you are not evil at all" said Annie as she laughed.
"Yeah yeah" said Maddie
"Come in" said Annie as there was a knock on the door.
"Oh hi Matt" said Annie as she saw Matt walk into the room.
"Hi Annie" said Matt
"Hi Maddie" said Matt
"Mhmm Hello Matthew" said Maddie
"What's with that tone?" asked Matt as he laughed
"Nothing, nothing, I'm just thinking" said Maddie
"Anyway what are you girls up too?" asked Matt
"Well nothing much just talking" said Annie
"Haha that's nice" said Matt
"Well I have news" he said
"Hmm what news?" asked Maddie
But before Matt could open his mouth to tell them what he wanted to say a very annoying voice resounded "We are meeting our grandparents" said the girl that was non other than Evie who needed no introduction at this point.
"Sheesh Evie, haven't you ever heard of knocking?" asked Maddie as she was annoyed.
Evie ignored Maddie and went to sit right on Annie's bed.
"Hello Evie" said Annie because at this point she had gotten used to Evie's fearless attitude.
"Ahhh Hello Annie" said Evie as she looked at Annie in admiration.
Matt just sighed, his sister was really a handful.
"Anyway what is this I am hearing about grandparents?" asked Annie as she laughed
"Right, like I was saying before a certain someone interrupted us" said Matt as he eyed Evie
"We are going to meet our Grandparents" said Matt
"Oooh that's cool, you mean Aunt Lucinda's parents?" asked Annie
"Yesssss" said Evie
"Haha well I am so happy for you guys" said Annie
"Thank you Annie" said Matt
"Funny enough, I am also going to meet someone new" said Annie
"Oh really who?" asked Matt
"Well I am going to meet another Professor, his name is Professor Sapiens" said Annie
"Ahhh well that's nice" said Matt
"Yes yes very, Annie we are twins, we are meeting our grandparents and you are meeting a new professor" said Evie as she hooked her arm in Annie's
"Haha right Evie" said Annie as she laughed.
"Do you ever get tired of being annoying?" asked Maddie
Evie knew the question was directed at her so she looked at Maddie and said
"No... because I am not annoying in the first place"
"Umm I beg to differ" said Matt
"What Matt?? your my brother, you are supposed to be on my side" said Evie
"Not in this situation" said Matt plainly.
"What" said Evie
"Annie, you don't think that I am annoying right?" asked Evie as she looked at Annie with puppy dog eyes.
"Umm you are just a tad unbearable sometimes" said Annie as she smiled sheepishly
"Huh??" said Evie
"But you are also very sweet" said Annie as she added that last bit in quickly.
"Aww Thank you Annie, at least I know who is the only nice person here" said Evie as she emphasized the word nice and looked at Maddie and Matt.
"Whatever floats your boat" said Maddie as she did not pay attention to a child.
"Hmmph" said Evie
"Anyway I am hungry" said Evie
"Well it's almost time for dinner" said Annie
"Right, which means as the big sister you are, you should go and check on your younger siblings" said Maddie
"You don't tell me what to do" said Evie
"Really?" asked Maddie and Evie nodded
"Well he can" said Maddie as she lazily pointed to Matt.
"Yeahhh Matt won't listen to you he's my brother" said Evie proudly.
"Evie you are right... I am your brother" said Matt and Evie raised her head proudly.
"And as your older brother, I am telling you to go and check on the others" said Matt as he smiled.
"What??? Matt you are not fair, lately you have been so annoying" said Evie as she ranted.
"You better go now, before I tell mom that you are bothering us over here" said Matt
"Okay fine fine, don't, I will go" said Evie as she was looking dejected.
"Bye Annie" said Evie as she refused to acknowledge the presence of the other people in the room.
"Bye Evie" replied Annie as Evie left their room and closed the door behind her.
"Matt don't you think that you are being a bit too hard on Evie?" asked Annie
"No I don't, if she doesn't learn to be calm now, then when will she?" asked Matt
"Ahhh big brother Matty laying down the law... I like it" said Maddie as she laughed.
"Haha of course you do" said Annie as she laughed at Maddie's reaction.
"Anyway I am actually hungry, so let's go eat" said Maddie
"Okay then see you" said Matt
"Bye Matt" said Annie and Maddie
"Is it only me? or is time moving faster?" asked Maddie
"I think it's only you" laughed Annie
