"It's good to see you both again, after the last time we met" said Stella as she was sitting in her office with two other men.
Stella was back in her normal cloak, and she was sitting in the lounge area of her Office.
"Same here, considering the circumstances we met last time were not very favourable" said the voice of a familiar man.
"That is true Sapiens" said Stella
Professor Sapiens looked like he had not aged a day from the last time we saw him, he still had his grey hair and a short beard on his face, he was also wearing a red cloak.
"With all due respect why were we called here?" asked the other man
"We all have many matters to attend to, considering that the enemy has withdrawn from the battlefield all of a sudden" he said.
"Captious, they are not our enemy we are of the same kind" said Stella
"That's what you say now, until you witness how brutal actually are to their own kind" said Captious
"Let us not dive there now" replied Stella
"And I think I have an idea of what caused them to withdraw" said Stella
"Really? then do tell" said Captious
"I will but first of all, let's get down to business" said Stella
"I need you both to train Annie" said Stella
"What?? which Annie?" asked Sapiens
"Annie Grey?" asked Captious and Stella nodded.
"Why?" asked Sapiens bitterly.
"Because she is the key to us finally defeating Azazel once and for all" said Stella
"What do you mean?" asked Captious
"Some time ago, Azazel came to me with a proposal concerning Annie" said Stella
"And you did not inform us?" asked Sapiens
"Well as you mentioned earlier, you had many matters to attend to" said Stella plainly
"What did Azazel say?" asked Captious
"He proposed that either he continues to attack, or he gives us one year to train Annie and we will battle once and for all" said Stella
"And you chose to train Annie" said Sapiens
"It was the only reasonable choice that I could take" said Stella
"So that is why the enemy had withdrawn from the battlefield" said Captious as he seemed to realize something.
"Azazel wants to build an army" said Sapiens
"Then why choose us to train her considering all our positions with her matter?" asked Captious
"Well even though it is true that we all do not see eye to eye on Annie's situation, you both are my closest allies and there is no doubt that you are very skilled in your forte" said Stella
"Unfortunately you both are the only people I trust with this matter" said Stella
"And I know that in the end all we all want to do is serve our realm with dignity" said Stella
"So what do you say? do you agree?" asked Stella
"I agree, for the sake of our Realm" said Captious
Captious and Stella both turned to look at Sapiens, he was the last input that they needed and he was awfully quiet.
"Sapiens?" asked Stella
Sapiens looked at Stella and he finally seemed to budge and said "Fine, I agree"
"Good, then we are all on the same page, we need to move quickly" said Stella
"But before that, we need to lay down some ground rules" said Stella
"Okay" said Captious
"Under no circumstances may I find you being unfair to Annie, especially you Sapiens, I do not want to hear any complaints, Annie is innocent in all of this and you both know it. Am I clear?" asked Stella seriously.
"Yes you are, I have no problem with Annie, and I will do my job correctly" said Captious
"Thank you Captious" said Stella as she smiled
"Sapiens?" asked Stella as she looked at Sapiens
"Fine, I agree" said Sapiens
"Alright then, now that this is all settled, I will need to inform the others and we will have a meeting with them" said Stella
"Okay then" said Captious
Meanwhile in Annie and Maddie's room
"So Annie what's your favourite spell so far?" asked Maddie
"Ahh it's the levitating spell, it was the first one that I learnt" said Annie as she laughed
"Ahh I remember, you used it on me once" said Maddie
"Ahh yes right, when you tried to attack me" said Annie as she looked at Maddie with a raised eyebrow.
"Hey that was then, now we are besties" said Maddie
"Haha that is true" said Annie
"Wait so how did you get down from the toilet celling?" asked Annie
"Ahh I had to call Anthony because up until that point I have never heard of such a spell, and I didn't know how to counter it sooo" said Maddie
"Actually something very funny is that, that same day Azazel called me and ordered me to become friends with you" said Maddie as she laughed
"Hahah, you know what? Matt was actually very sus of you from the beginning and when you brought me chocolate chip cookies and I told him that they were from you while he was eating them, he literally spit them out and scolded me and Curtis for eating them" laughed Annie
"Haha that's very funny, I can imagine, Matt is such a good friend that's why I like him" said Maddie
"Haha me too" said Annie
"Wait we better stop talking about him, who knows if he is listening to us right now, with that his super hearing" said Maddie as she face-palmed herself.
"True very true" said Annie as she laughed.
Meanwhile in Matt and Curtis' room.
"Why are you laughing?" asked Curtis
"No reason, it's just the girls are talking about me" laughed Matt
"You know I can tell Annie that you are eavesdropping on them" said Curtis
"No, it's not eavesdropping if you can't help but hear what everyone is saying" said Matt
"Whatever you say" said Curtis
Meanwhile back in Stella's Office
Lisa and John had just stepped into Stella's office, and there were some people that they had not seen before with her.
"Stella you called for us?" asked John as he looked at Stella
"Yes, take a seat" said Stella as she smiled.
Captious looked up and his eyes went to meet the eyes of John who had sat with Lisa across he and Sapiens.
"Jack??" he called out in disbelief.
John looked at the strange man, that seemed to mistake him for someone else.
"Sorry Sir, my name is not Jack it's John" he said as he smiled at the old man, but Captious still looked at him with a sense of familiarity.
"Oh sorry I forgot to introduce you" said Stella
"Captious, this is John, John this is Captious... Your Uncle" said Stella
"Uncle??" asked John in disbelief
"I never knew that I had an Uncle" said John
"Yes you do, he's your father's brother" said Stella
All this time, while Stella was explaining everything, Captious looked at John with sadness and gladness.
John just looked way too much like his father, from the colour of his hair, to the brown color of his eyes and the shape of his face.
"Well then it's nice to meet you Sir" said John as he stood up and put of his hand to shake Captious.
Captious stood up and instead of shaking John's hand he pulled him in for a hug.
"It's nice to meet you too John, you look just like your Father" said Captious
"And you can call me Uncle" said Captious.
Even thought John didn't show it, he was very happy on the inside, he always thought that he did not have any family left, except for Annie and Lisa, and he always never had vivid memories of his father, and now here he was, with his Uncle, the brother of his father, it just warmed his heart.
"It's good to see you" said Captious as he patted John's back and broke the hug, and he returned back to his seat.
"What a nice reunion" thought Stella to herself as she smiled.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door and Stella replied with, "Come in"
"Ahh sorry we are late everyone" said Lucinda as she and Lucas entered Stella's Office.
"Ahh Lucy, Lucas, you both are not late, we were just having a little reunion" said Stella as she smiled.
"Haha okay" said Lucinda as she laughed.
"Good Afternoon Uncle Capi" said Lucinda as she smiled.
"Ahh Lucy dear, how are you?" asked Captious
"I am doing very well, and yourself?" asked Lucinda
"I am wonderful" said Captious
"That's good to hear" said Lucinda as she and Lucas sat down.
Lucinda's eyes went, to the cold and stiff man sitting in the armchair, his grey hair and beard along with his dark eyes would scare anyone, but not Lucinda.
"Good Afternoon Father" said Lucinda as she turned to look at Sapiens and bowed her head.
Sapiens seemed to come out of his thoughts when he heard, the little small voice of Lucinda.
"Lucinda??" he asked
