Coronation day III

Everyone was quiet as the ceremony was underway as all the traditions were being completed as a moment of silence was asked from everyone as they did so.

"All rise for his Majesty King Henry of the Vampire Realm" came the voice of a guard as everyone stood up and Henry stood up as he walked up the steps to his throne and he sat down.

"You may all be seated" said Henry as everyone thanked him and sat down.

"I am so glad to have everyone here present, on this wonderful day in the history of our great Realm" said Henry as he began.

"As you all known, I have reigned for the duration of many years, how many, I believe you do not need to know" said Henry as everyone laughed.

"But we all know that life goes on, and as rulers pass on new ruler ascend the throne" said Henry as he stood up with a smile.

"We are all her present today to witness the coronation of my eldest Granddaughter Evie" said Henry as delicate music began to play and everyone stood up as the door of the chapel opened and they all turned to look in that direction.

Evie walked in, while hooking her hand with Lucas who was smiling.

"Smile my princess, everything will be alright" said Lucas as he whispered in Evie's ear and she nodded at him as she smiled.

"Walk slowly, one step at a time, and you won't fall" said Lucas as Evie nodded, she knew that her dad knew just how nervous she was, and with everyone looking at her, the eyes of many people that she did not know, she was just so self-conscious right now.

"Look ahead my princess, focus on your Grandfather and no one else" said Lucas as he whispered and Evie nodded her head as they walked down the aisle until they reached the bottom of the steps and Lucas unhooked his hand from Evie's as he turned to look at her and he smiled as he placed a kiss on her forehead.

"You will be fine my princess, just relax" said Lucas with a smile as Evie nodded.

"You look beautiful my princess" said Luca as he smiled and Evie smiled at him.

"Thanks Dad" said Evie as she smiled and he smiled once more as he walked to Lucinda and he gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"You may all be seated" came the voice of a guard as everyone sat down except for Evie and Henry.

"Evie looks so beautiful" said Maddie as she smiled.

"I know right" said Annie as she smiled, she was so happy that they were here to see this.

"She will be fine honey" said Lucas as he kissed the back of Lucinda's hand and she smiled as she nodded.

"Evie looks so beautiful" said Lisa as she smiled as she was sitting next to Lucinda.

"I know, my precious little girl" said Lucinda as she smiled, she did not want to get emotional right now, but she was, and she really wished that her father was here to witness this beautiful moment.

"Come on my dear" said Henry as he smiled and he called out to Evie as she nodded and she gently walked up the steps and she stood in front of him as he smiled at his granddaughter and he gave her three kisses.

One on her left cheek, one on her right cheek and one on her forehead.

"To symbolize unity, freedom, and peace" said Henry as he smiled and Evie gave him a kiss on the cheek as she knelt down before him.

She may have looked calm on the outside, but on the inside her stomach was churning, she was glad that she had not eaten anything earlier, or else, she was sure that she would have threw up from all the nervousness that she was feeling right now, her heart was racing.

"Breathe, Evie, breathe" said Evie to herself as she took a deep breath and she looked up at Henry who was smiling at her.

"My flower, my gem, my precious eldest Granddaughter, may you live forever and grow in wisdom and strength" said Henry as he smiled.

"And so do you your Majesty" said Evie as she nodded, she was actually surprised that everything she had memorized for the past few days was still in her head.

"May you grow like the Sundew, thrive in the sun, be subtle and gentle, but sting like a wasp when the time comes" said Henry with a smile.

"And so do you your Majesty, the highest ruler of the kingdom" replied Evie.

"What is going on?" asked Maddie as she whispered.

"She's reciting the vampire's creed for rulers, I've only read about it, but watching and hearing it right now in person is so honouring" said Ollie as he smiled and Maddie wanted to say something, but she didn't want to ruin this moment, so she kept quiet.

"May you walk on this earth as intended" said Henry as he smiled.

"And you do so your Majesty" said Evie as she nodded her head.

"You may rise" said Henry with a smile as Evie stood up and she stood in front of him.

"Here in front of everyone today, you will be crowned future Queen of the Realm" said Henry as Evie took a silent deep breath.

"Evie are you ready to take the oath?" asked Henry.

"Yes my King" said Evie as she nodded and Henry brought out a sword as he placed his hand on it and Evie placed her hand on his.

"Evie Grace Sundew, do you swear to be a good leader to the people?" asked Henry.

"I swear" said Evie.

"Do you swear to rule with honesty, dignity, kindness and love?" asked Henry.

"I swear" said Evie.

"Do you swear right here to be a fair leader, who will do nothing but what is best for her people asked Henry.

"I swear" said Evie.

"Repeat after me" said Henry as Evie nodded.

"I Evie Grace Sundew" said Henry.

"I Evie Grace Sundew" said Evie.

"Do herby solemnly swear" said Henry.

"To be a good crown princess to the people" said Henry.

"Willing to learn and be taught" said Henry.

"For as long as I will need to" said Evie as Henry smiled and he handed the sword to Evie as she held it, and a guard brought a golden tiara that was placed on a red pillow as Henry smiled and he took the tiara and Evie bowed her head and Henry placed the crown on her head, his eyes beaming with joy as he took the sword from her.

"I am proud of you my dear" said Henry with a smile as Evie smiled at him.

"You will give your pledge to the people" said Henry as Evie looked up and she turned to face everyone.

"I Crown Princess Evie Grace Sundew, promise to be a crown princess of the people, to listen, to be obedient and to learn from everyone" said Evie.

"I, Crown Princess of the Vampire Realm, pledge my loyalty, faith and devotion to you all as my people" said Evie.

"I promise to learn well under the guidance of his Majesty King Henry my Grandfather for the duration of four years, till I turn eighteen and ascend the throne" said Evie.

"And I hope that I learn as much as I need to, to be able to be a good future Queen to you all" said Evie.

"That is my pledge to you all" said Evie as everyone started to clap and she smiled in relief that she did not mess up the words of her speech.

"Evie is going to be a great Queen" said Annie as she smiled and she whispered to Matt.

"I know that she will be" said Matt as he smiled, he loved his sister and he would support her all the way, whenever she needed help.

"I am proud of you my dear" said Henry with a smile as Evie smiled and she nodded at him, she knew the rule about the Royal family displaying affection in public.

"Oh forget those rules my dear, I wanted to change it anyway" said Henry as he laughed and he hugged Evie as she hugged him and she laughed, she had the best Grandfather in the world, in fact, the best family and friends in the world, she wouldn't want it any other way, she considered herself very lucky.

"Thank you Grandfather, I love you so much" said Evie as she smiled and Henry gave her a kiss on the forehead as he smiled, he knew that she would do great and exceed the expectations that she had set for herself.
