Controlled II

After Maddie got ready and wore plain jeans and a yellow top, she came out of the room and went to the dining room, Annie had already taken her seat and was waiting for Maddie.

Maddie came and sat down in her usual spot next to Annie and they started to eat, Breakfast was even more boring than Dinner, usually Evie would always be talking like the chatterbox that she was and that would make everyone else join in the conversation.

But today was different everyone was had travelled and Stella had been busy these days so it was only the girls that were in the big dining room.

"Hmm i wonder what Matt and the others are doing right now??" asked Annie as she ate a big scone.

"Well i don't know? i just hope that everything goes okay" said Maddie as she sipped her tea.

"Haha yes me too" said Annie

"Hey Maddie?" said Annie

"Mhmm what is it?" asked Maddie as she took a scone and ate one

"Have you had any dreams lately??" asked Annie casually

When Maddie heard what Annie asked she almost choked on the scone that she was eating.

"Maddie are you alright??" asked Annie as she patted Maddie's back.

"Hahah yes i am don't worry" said Maddie as she faked a smile as she was coughing

"Umm why did you ask if i had any dreams lately??" asked Maddie as she used a napkin to wipe her mouth.

"Well i don't know i am just curious i guess?" said Annie as she stirred her tea with a teaspoon

"Hmm okay" said Maddie

"*sigh* I miss my Parents and Curtis, how long will they be gone??" asked Annie as she looked sad.

"Aww don't worry Annie, Curtis did say that they were not allowed to use Magic in the Werewolf realm and that it would take some time to get there, so i know that they will be back soon just relax" said Maddie

"Yes i know but i can't help but to miss them, i have never been away from my parents for this long and i have always had Curtis all the time with me, and now Matt is gone..." said Annie and she did not notice that Maddie had a sad look on her face as she was mentioning the people that were most important to her.

"But now i have you haha, you know when you first came over to my house saying that you wanted to make things right and be my friend i was a bit skeptical at first, i thought that it was just one of your tricks, but then i got to know you, the real Maddie and not the fake mean one..."

Maddie's face was being lit up with a smile as Annie kept on talking.

"...And then when we started hanging out more and more together, we became best friends without me even realizing it, It doesn't matter to me if your Father is evil, all that matters is that i have found a best friend in you, and i know that i can trust you with my life" said Annie

"Awww Annie you want to make me tear up now" said Maddie as she pretended to be crying.

"Haha" said Annie

"But the feeling is mutual it's the same for me, i also trust you with my life and i promise that i will protect you and not let anyone hurt you" said Maddie

"Aww" said Annie and the girl's giggles filled the empty dining room.

After Breakfast Annie and Maddie walked around the Palace again, Adrian was no where to be seen so they could not go outside, they could only stay inside, they made sure not to pass their demarcated area, and not into the official matters area, where Stella was having a meeting presently.

After walking around the palace Annie and Maddie lounged in the lounge room, reading books and talking, and before they knew it, dinner time had already come and the girls ate and went to bed.

Everywhere was peaceful and quiet no noise could be heard and the trees outside were moving with the wind.

Suddenly it started raining, Annie was sleeping peacefully in their dark room and so was Maddie.

Just then Thunder struck and Maddie's eyes were wide open, she stood up from her bed and walked over to Annie's bed.

Annie was sleeping with a peaceful face and she looked like she had no care in the world.

Maddie just looked at her like she was observing something in her and without warning Maddie brought up her right hand to the side of her face, and immediately a green crystal dagger formed out of her hand and she held it.

She was about to plunge the dagger into Annie's chest, when Annie suddenly felt movement above her, Annie opened her eyes and used her hands to rub her eyes she was trying to get her eyes adjusted to the dark room and she saw a figure of Maddie standing above her.

"Maddie what's happening is something wrong??" asked Annie as she stopped rubbing her eyes.

But there was no answer "Maddie is this a prank??" asked Annie as Thunder stuck, but there was still no reply.

"Maddie this is not a funny prank stop it" said Annie and without warning Maddie picked her up with unbelievable strength and threw her against the wall of the door and the wall cracked and Annie was in the hallway.

Rubble from the wall was around her and she was coughing and hurt, she wasn't expecting Maddie to do that.

"Maddie why did you do that?? is something wrong??" asked Annie as she struggled to get up from the throw.

Maddie didn't answer instead she walked slowly from the dark room into the well lit hallway, she had an unreadable expression on her face, and Annie's eyes immediately went up and met Maddie and she was shocked.

Maddie's eyes were not their natural light blue colour, instead they were full blue all around and only left with a black pupil.

Maddie came closer to Annie and showed the dagger in her hand and she smiled with a killing intent that scared Annie.

Annie knew that Maddie wasn't in her right sense, it was obvious from her eyes that she was being controlled.

"Maddie listen to me you are being controlled you don't want to do this just put the dagger down" said Annie as she tried to stay calm and snap Maddie out of it.

But Maddie didn't say anything, she just lunged forward with the dagger in her hand towards Annie, and Annie dodged it she kept on trying to hit her, but Annie kept on dodging.

"Curtis where are you i need you Maddie is not herself, do you hear me hello are you there??" asked Annie in her mind but she got no reply.

Annie didn't know what to do, she hadn't learn any combat spells and she did not want to hurt Maddie, so all she could do was to dodge her attacks and that was hard considering that Maddie had a crystal dagger in her hand.

"Maddie listen to me snap out of it" said Annie

But Maddie didn't say anything and kept trying to hit Annie.

Annie kept on dodging but she missed a step and it gave Maddie an opportunity to hit her side with the dagger.

Annie cried out in pain and blood was gushing out.

Maddie took the chance that Annie was in pain and she threw her against another wall and this time it caused a loud noise that echoed throughout the Palace.

Stella was walking past the dorms when she heard that loud noise and she immediately went to find the source of the noise.

She was immediately petrified when she saw Annie was laying a pile of rubble and she was bleeding while Maddie was about to plunge a dagger in her chest.

Stella immediately regained her senses and hit Maddie to the ground with a ball of light spell, Maddie didn't make any noise when she was hit.

Stella looked at Maddie's pure blue eyes and she was shocked and said "AZAZEL"

She immediately made many more balls of light and hit them one by one at Maddie.

Meanwhile Annie had stood up and she held her side that was gushing of blood to stop the bleeding, she tore off a part of her Pajama sleeve and used it to hold her side.

Maddie kept on standing up like she was not affected by the balls of light at all, but she was starting to get weak that she fell on her knees so Stella made a very huge big ball of light that would consume anything or anyone in it's way.

"Aunt Stella Noooo" said Annie as she jumped in front of Maddie.
