Captain

"Captain" called a male witch that was on night duty, guarding the camp, he was the only one that was visible, there were many other witches guarding the camp secretly.

"Where is the Chancellor?" asked the other male witch, who was called a captain

"She is in her Office" replied the man, and the other man began to walk to the room.

"My Chancellor" he said as he entered Stella's office and bowed on knelt on one knee in front of Stella's desk.

"You may rise" said Stella as she looked down at him.

"Thank you My Chancellor" he said as he rose up.

"I am sorry for arriving late, I had some things to take care of" said the man.

"It's alright Armand" said Stella

"Thank you My Chancellor, I am forever humble to you" he said as he bowed.

"Please sit" said Stella as she gestured him to sit down.

"Thank you" said the man named Armand as he sat down, he was wearing a black cloak, and he had the hood over his head, and his face was barely visible, only his chin could be seen.

"So have you considered my plan?" asked Armand.

"Yes I have Armand" said Stella

"And?" asked Armand

"And I refuse" said Stella as she looked at him.

"But why?? we need to have the upper hand, if we charge now they would not see us coming and we can end this once and for all" he said seriously.

"I know, but offense is not always the best choice, it's better that we defend and wait for their first move, that way we will be able to counter" said Stella

"The best offense is a good defense" she said.

"My Chancellor, there is not doubt that I trust and respect you, but this is more in my field, I have planned many battle strategies and I am the most skilled fighter, and I know what I mean when I say that we need to strike first" said Armand

"Armand I know that you are very skilled, there is no doubt about that, but my decision remains final" said Stella with no room for discussion.

"Yes My Chancellor" said Armand as he bowed, he still did not agree with Stella's view in this matter.

"Good" said Stella

"Now, you may go" said Stella

"Thank you My Chancellor" said Armand as he stood up to take his leave.

"Oh and one more thing Armand" said Stella

"Yes" said Armand as he turned back to look at Stella

"I hope you will respect my decision" she said.

"Of course" said Armand as he nodded and walked away.

Stella just needed to add that final warning, Armand was young and very skilled, and that made him a bit full of himself, he always believed that his way was best, and Stella was trying to avoid that kind of conflict right now.

She just did not have the time, or the energy to have to settle minor disputes.

The Next Morning.

Annie opened her eyes, it was morning, she could see the sunlight from outside as she rubbed her eyes, she didn't know when she fell asleep, but she did, and for some odd reason she had a very peaceful rest, considering what was going on now.

Annie looked at Maddie, who was still fast asleep, Annie decided to let Maddie be, since she had been worrying too much lately.

Annie got out of bed, and proceeded to the bathroom, she needed to brush her teeth, and take a shower.

Annie thought of what was going to happen now, would she always just wake up and do the same old boring things, she loved the boringness and all, but there was such a thing as too boring.

"Good Morning Mira" said Annie as Mira was the first person she saw once she stepped out of her tent.

"Good Morning Annie" said Mira as she smiled.

"Are you hungry?" asked Mira

"Haha well yes" said Annie as she laughed.

"Haha it's no trouble, let me take you to the canteen" said Mira.

"I would Love that, but are you not busy?" asked Annie

"Oh it's no bother at all, The Chancellor sent me here to take you wherever you need to go" said Mira

"Oh okay then, let's go" said Annie as she smiled.

"Yes, Let us go" said Mira as she laughed.

Was it only Annie, but was the camp more full than yesterday? there were many more witches present than when they first arrived yesterday.

Every witch either wore a cloak of black, yellow or dark green, Annie guessed that those colours determined their rank and group.

Mira always wore a black cloak, so that must mean that she must belong to the black group, thought Annie to herself.

"What are they doing? If you don't mind me asking" said Annie as she pointed to a group of four witches, two male and two female, they wore black cloaks and they all held hands together in a small circle.

"It's no bother" said Mira,

"Well they are making a sound barrier over the camp" explained Mira.

"A sound barrier?" asked Annie

"Yes, a sound barrier, just as the name suggests, it traps all the sound only in the camp, and no one from outside can hear what is going on" explained Mira

"The Sound barrier stops vampires from being able to hear what is happening over here" explained Mira

"Ahh I see" said Annie

"Yes" said Mira

"So that's probably why Matt could not hear anything yesterday" thought Annie to herself.

"There re four of them because the camp is very larger, and it would be easier for them to join their power, and create a very strong barrier" explained Mira

"Oh I see" said Annie

"Yes, come on let's go" said Mira as she began to walk.

"Okay" said Annie as she followed behind her.

Meanwhile in the camp of the enemy.

"Aza dear, you called for me" said Clove as she entered into Azazel's office.

It was another busy day in the camp, everyone was walking, talking and practicing, they looked like they were ready for war any second now.

"Yes, sit" said Azazel.

"Good Morning Aza" said Clove as she smiled at him, as she sat down.

"Hmm Morning" replied Azazel.

"So what is it?" asked Clove

"Clove I have brought you your new maid" said Azazel

"What?" asked Clove

"Come out" said Azazel, and a girl who looked no less than 18 stepped out from the shadows, she had brown hair and brown eyes and she was short for her age, the clothes she wore looked old, and she had a very sad look on her face.

"Clove this is Nia, and she will serve you from now on" said Azazel, as he ignored the anger evident on Clove's face.

"I am here to serve you my lady" said Nia as bowed her head down.
