Amazement

"This is surreal" said Maddie as she could not help but awe as they all stood in front of the Castle as they came out of the Carriage, this was the most beautiful place she had ever seen, nothing compared to the simple beauty of this Castle.

"You can say that again Maddie" said Lisa as she was also in awe, she knew that they were going to a Castle but this… this was just something else entirely.

"I would live here forever if I could" said Maddie as that was the truth, this place just looked so beautiful, so peaceful, so secluded, now she could understand why the King and Queen never showed up anywhere, their Castle was just too nice to want to leave.

"I have to agree with you there Maddie" said Matt as he was also surprised, when he had heard Castle, he thought that it would be a stone built fortress of solitude that was ready for when war would strike, but this just looked like a nice calm Castle.

"You humans and your amazement" said Curtis as Maddie and Matt turned to look at him, just what was he saying.

"Well excuse me Curtis, not all of us have had the privilege to see such a pretty place" said Maddie as she looked at Curtis and she shook his head, could he be considerate for once? Gosh they knew he had been places in his many years of living, but why did he have to ruin this for them.

"And besides, you statement is incorrect, we are not humans" said Maddie as she seemed to realize something.

"I am a witch, and Matt is half witch, half vampire" said Maddie as she said so in a matter of fact tone.

"Correction heeded to" said Curtis as he replied simply and Annie laughed, Maddie would always defend herself no matter what, it was just a reflex for her, but Annie had to admit, Maddie was right, this Castle seemed like paradise.

"Mr John Grey and Mrs. Lisa Grey, Annie Grey, Maddie Wolf, Matt Sundew and Curtis Grey" came the voice of a short dark haired man dressed immaculately in a green tailcoat as he called out to all of them and he interrupted them as he spoke and they all turned to look at him.

"Yes?" asked John as he answered, he wondered where this man had come from? None of them had heard him walk towards them.

"Welcome to the Castle of Vita" said the man as he did not smile at all, but he kept his respect and grace.

"I am Steven and I am here to escort you to where you will meet his and her Majesty" replied the man named Steven as he gave a slight smile.

"Ahh, I see" said John as he smiled.

"Yes, so please follow me" said Steven.

"And Please do not worry about your bags, they shall be taken your rooms" said Steven.

"Alright then" said Lisa.

"Right this way" said Steven as he led the way and everyone followed behind him as they entered into the Castle and Maddie was even more impressed.

To say that the Castle was lavish would be an understatement, the Castle was as beautiful on the inside, as it was on the outside.

Sure this was not the first Castle that Maddie had been to, they had went to the Vampire Realm before, but this Castle, just had a certain charm to it, as if there was a spell casted on it to make the Castle even more Charming than it already was.

The polished marble floors reflected their reflections as they walked and they followed after Steven, the walls were shiny as there were many paintings hung everywhere, and there was a little golden rug placed in the middle of the floors.

Maddie could promise you that the floors were shimmering, she was surprised that she could see her own reflection on the floor, as if the floor was made out of glass, while everyone was in awe, Curtis was deep in his own thoughts.

What concerned them did not concern him at all, he on the other hand was here for a mission, as soon as they were all settled in, he would begin his research in the Castle's library, he was certain that he would find what he was looking for, or at least a hint or a clue of what he should do.

"This place is awesome" said Maddie as she linked she, Annie and Matt's minds together.

"You can say that again Maddie" said Annie as she laughed.

"It's so cool" said Matt as he laughed.

"No offence Matt, but this Castle is ten times better than the Castle in the Vampire Realm" said Maddie as she laughed.

"No offence taken Maddie" said Matt as he laughed.

"I have to agree with you on that Maddie" said Matt as he laughed, Maddie was speaking the truth, this Castle was way much more prettier and neater than the Castle in the Vampire Realm, it would seem that the Witches were very perfect and they loved everything to be neat.

"But you cannot possibly compare this Castle to the one in the Vampire Realm" said Annie as she spoke up.

"Why do you say so?" asked Maddie.

"Well because King Henry did say that the Castle in the Vampire Realm was built around the same time that the Vampire Realm was formed, or something like that" said Annie.

"Oh yes, that is true" said Matt as he seemed to remember.

"Hey Curtis, when was this Castle built?" asked Maddie as she popped into Curtis's head without warning.

"Well in the year ran of the Witch Realm" replied Curtis as he did not seem surprised at all.

"And how long ago is that?" asked Maddie.

"I would say that it should be about 500 years ago or so" replied Curtis.

"That is a long time" said Maddie.

"So you see, we cannot compare a 500 year old Castle to the Castle in the Vampire Realm" said Annie as she laughed.

"True, true" said Maddie as she nodded her head.

"Well this Castle is also very old" said Curtis.

"But every one hundred years or so, the Castle is teared down and built back up again" said Curtis as he explained.

"Wow, that sounds like a lot of work to tear down this big Castle and build it up again" said Matt.

"You forget that we have magic Matt" said Curtis as he reminded Matt.

"I actually did" said Matt as he laughed to himself, they were not in the real world right now, anything was possible, literally.

"How could you Matt, I find that offensive" said Maddie as she gasped.

"Don't start Maddie, please don't start" said Matt as he sighed and he shook his head, he knew that Maddie just wanted to pick on him now.

"Okay, okay fine, fine" said Maddie as she pouted and Annie laughed as she shook her head, these two could annoy each other like something else entirely.

"We have arrived" said Steven as he stopped in front of two double white doors and he held the handles as he pushed the doors to the side as he stepped into the room and they all followed behind him.

"Please wait here, their Majesties shall arrive to be with you soon" said Steven.

"Thank you" said John as he smiled as Lisa smiled and she sat down beside him on the red white couch.

"Hmm" said Steven as he nodded his head and he closed the doors behind him as Maddie, Matt, Annie and Curtis sat down on another white couch as Maddie looked around, this room looked very classic and regal.

"White couch fancy" said Maddie out loud and Matt looked at her.

"What?? It's the truth, white couches are the worst" said Maddie as she laughed, she remembered when she was little and there was a white couch in the Mansion, let's just say that she always got into trouble for getting it dirty, even though she was only just a child.

"Oh we never had white couches" said Lisa.

"Me and John had one when we first got married, but well when Annie came along, we got rid of it once Annie started walking, she got dirt everywhere" said Lisa as she laughed and everyone laughed, except for Curtis who was deep in his thoughts.

"Mom" said Annie in embarrassment, she was right here, and also she was no longer a baby.

In the moment that they were all talking, they were all suddenly interrupted by a man also dressed in green.

"Please rise for the arrival of their Majesties" said the man as he bowed and he looked at them all and they all did as they were told as they all stood up.

"Welcome their Majesties, King Albert and Queen Christina of the Witch Realm" said the man as he announced and he moved away as the King and Queen entered the room.
