"Prince Oliver??" asked Annie in utter shock as she turned to look at Ollie who was standing there, smiling happily.
"It's Ollie, and also, yes the one only" said Ollie as she smiled and he walked to where Annie, Maddie, Matt and Curtis were standing.
"Oh no, no, no this cannot be happening, this has to be a dream, yes it's a dream" said Maddie as she panicked.
"What are you doing here?" asked Matt as he looked at Ollie, he had snapped out of his prior shock, and now he was just annoyed on how this guy could be here right now.
"I am here to help you guys of course" said Ollie as he smiled.
"But that's impossible, Aunt Stella said that you were not allowed to come with us, so this is a dream, please tell me it's a dream" said Maddie as she looked like she was on the verge of crying right now.
"Sorry grouchy, but this is not a dream, I am here in the flesh" said Ollie as he smiled and he winked at Maddie groaned, yes, this was not a dream, this annoying, pretty boy prince was here, he was actually here in person, of all the things, why?? Why did he have to be here???
"But how?" Annie as even she was in serious disbelief.
"Well my Father changed his mind, and well here I am" said Ollie as he smiled looking very proud of himself.
"Oh why, why?? No, you should have just stayed" said Maddie as she groaned, if she knew that this guy was coming along, she would not have come at all.
"How did you follow us? I made sure to check if we were being followed, and I heard and sensed nothing" said Matt as he narrowed his eyes at Ollie, something about this whole thing sounded suspicious.
"Well I am the Prince of the Witch Realm of course, and I wanted to make my appearance a surprise, I have my ways" said Ollie as he smiled.
"Hmm" said Matt as he did not trust Ollie one bit.
"I can tell that I did a good job, I surprised you all" said Ollie as he smiled.
"Curtis, say something, he can't come with us, no way" said Maddie as she ignored Ollie and she turned to look at Curtis, he had to say no, he could send Ollie away.
There was no way that Maddie was going to spend close to six months with his annoying Prince on a dangerous mountain with nowhere to run to, she would go crazy, in fact, she was already going crazy, by just standing in the same space as him.
Annie and Matt turned to look at Curtis, they had to agree with Maddie, they did not prepare for this, wouldn't Ollie be dead weight.
"Curtis, what do you say?" asked Ollie as he looked at Curtis and he smiled, he did not seem worried at all, in fact he looked like this all amused him and he was happy to be here.
"Well, I cannot possibly send him back now, it would be too dangerous to, if we truly were followed" said Curtis as Maddie shook her head.
"But he can surely go back the same way he came" said Maddie as Matt had to agree with her.
"No Maddie, things are not as simple as that" said Curtis as he looked at Ollie.
"You said that your Father allowed you to come here?" asked Curtis as Ollie smiled.
"Yes he did" said Ollie and Curtis sighed internally, if Albert had let Ollie come along, it meant that he was sending subtle message, one that read that he trusted him, and that also he was watching him.
It made no sense to Curtis why Albert and Christina would send off their pride and Joy to a supposedly dangerous Mountain, it only meant that they were trying to test him, trying to test his loyalty to the Realm.
If he sent Ollie back now, it would mean that he had something to hide, which he did not, the only reasonable thing for Curtis to do would be for him to let Ollie come along with them, he knew that Albert did not trust him, far from it, so sending his son here was a Political decision as well.
"Well if your Father allowed you, then you can come with us" said Curtis, his plan had to go on, no matter what, even if that meant that there would be one extra person tagging along, he would be able to watch Ollie, he was not such a handful to take care of.
"Yessss" said Ollie as he smiled.
"Noooo" said Maddie as she cried out loud, this was horrible, terrible, just horrible, she was going to be stuck with this annoying guy for such a long time that it would kill her.
Annie didn't say anything, she thought that probably Curtis had a reason for letting Ollie go along with them, while Matt was staring to think that maybe Maddie was not overreacting about this guy being annoying.
Like he had no life of his own than to follow them around, he did not like that Curtis agreed to Ollie going with them, it irked him.
"Well now I am part of the team aren't I?" asked Ollie as he smiled.
"Ugh" said Maddie as she groaned in annoyance and she turned around as Curtis walked away, as all the mist had gone away now.
"How did those get there?" asked Annie as she noticed that Curtis bent down to pick up their bags that had been left on the floor.
"The Carriage dropped them here" replied Curtis.
"Why?? Wasn't it supposed to take us to the mountain?" asked Maddie as she was confused.
"The Carriage could only go so far, the road from here cannot be used by a Carriage" said Curtis.
"We have to walk the rest of the way" said Curtis as he stood up and he took some of the bags.
"Are you serious Curtis?" asked Maddie as things were just getting worse and worse, how come they had to walk now, it made no sense at all?
"Do I look like I am joking?" asked Curtis as he looked at Maddie and Maddie was starting to regret following Curtis blindly.
"It's won't take long, just about 5-10 minutes" said Curtis.
"Alright then" said Matt as there was no need for complains, they were already here, and there was no turning back.
"I will carry the bags" said Matt as he walked to Curtis and he took the bags from him as he took the other two bags on the ground.
"Well I guess that we are doing this, this is so exciting" said Ollie as he smiled, he was all geared up, with a brown leather bag behind him, and he looked like this was some sort of fun ride.
"Let's go" said Curtis as he ignored Ollie and he began to walk as Annie followed behind him and Matt followed as Maddie followed and Ollie followed after her.
"So, how are things going so far?" asked Ollie as he smiled he was walking beside Maddie.
"Don't talk to me, don't speak to me, don't look at me, and don't even breathe the same air as me, stay 5 feet away from me, if you dare come close to me, a punch will be waiting for you" said Maddie as there were not guards to protect him, now they were alone in the wilderness, and nothing was going to stop her from smashing his pretty little face.
"Noted, grouchy noted" said Ollie as he smiled and he moved away from her, as he groaned, why did it look like he was enjoying this, well she did not like that he was so calm, it annoyed her.
Ollie just decided to stay quiet, he could sense that there was some tension here, and he did not want to cause any trouble, he just felt happy that he was here, even though he could ask that Maddie be a bit more nicer to him, she seemed annoyed and angry with every action that he took.
As if he was some sort of pest, and that annoyed, him, he did not know why he annoyed her so much, but anyway, he was happy to be finally out of the Castle for once in his life, he had never gone out like this before, and he was sure that going to Caligo with his friends would be a great adventure.
"Oh and one more thing, stop smiling" said Maddie as she shouted at him as she snapped him out of his thoughts, and she turned as she continued to walk.
"I guess my smile is just too blinding for her" said Ollie to himself as he smiled, he knew that of course Maddie liked him, she just did not know know how to show it.
