ch-9 Weak or is he?

James followed along Raingel as he moved a few meters apart from him as to not be felt or be seen by Raingel. Even if James came right beside him Raingel won't feel anything.

James was stronger than Raingel even if he did found him he can easily knock him out with a jab on his neck.

As James approached the end of the city walls he found the devil it was an image of a giant Lion that is as tall as 50 meters high and its length was double its height.

But its size isn't the most eye-catching thing it was its dark orange eyes that shines in burning color as it looks at everything unafraid of anything.

The devil wouldn't care about its own being or how much damage dealt on his body he would only care if his opponent is dead or not.

James looks at the body of the devil with a smile thinking to himself how would the devil taste if it was cook in a hot oiled pan. 'I need to find some seasoning while at it then'

As Raingel got closer to the beast he was visibly angered as his eyes shown in killing as he remembered his past.

'I wonder why he wanted to fight this devil even if it cost him his life' James thought wondering why Raingel wanted to kill the devil that was in front of him.

As they got closer James could see the details of the devil it still has its dark orange eyes flaming with pride, sharp long claws like a sword.

A long whip-like tail with a dagger-like end of it that bringing its lethality up a notch its mane was made of flames as it dances in the air.

Its gaze was directed at Raingel who didn't shy away and look directly into its eyes. Raingel was standing at the edge of the city walls as he sizes of the devil.

The devil's every step broke the ground and shook the earth like a 6.4 earthquake the dust on the ground flew to the air.

The devil already cause davestation on the city even if it was a few kilometers away from James and Raingel. The people that haven't escape yet were screaming and wondering what was going on.

But they have one thing in mind and that was something is coming that could end their life in seconds without any mercy.

In the wind, the only sound that can be heard was the screaming of people, and the ground shaking until a loud and powerful voice bringing everything to silence.

"How dare you! Do you intend to come here and destroy this city! EVEN KNOWING IM HERE! AY CAMPBELL" Raingel shouted on top of his lungs as his voice traveled far and wide.

Everyone stop moving even the devil was stopped in his tracks as he looks at Raingel killing intent can be seen in its eyes. The devil looks towards Raingel.

"You were that human I fought a few years back...The one that almost cost me my life... I finally found you!" The devil roared as it spoke in a hoarse but cold voice.

James looks at the sides surprise that a devil could speak but after thinking it didn't sound that surprising as he has a store in another dimension before he foes back watching the story unfold.

Raingel smirks hearing the devil but deep down he was scared and excited with a little hint of anger in his eyes. "Gald you remembered but that day you injured me that made me stop gaining strength for that I need to kill you today!"

Raingel shouted in anger as he held his long sword closed to his chest ready to take the final step to fight to the death with a devil who was visibly stronger than himself.

ROAR!

The devil roared in anger as it looks at Rainngel in its eyes the murderous look is very visible to everyone even the people that were on the other side of the city felt death hanging on their neck.

"You think you can fight me equally like you did years back? PATHETIC HUMAN! YOU HAVE BECAME WEAKER SO MUCH SO THAT EVEN MY BREATH COULD KILL YOU!"

While this was going on James look at them with a bored expression on his face. This was something he expected but didn't really mind that they would talk to each other.

'This is something I have seen before in every movie or almost in everything I watch happened this is the most cliches thing I have ever seen' James thought before looking at Riangel once more as he was about to make the first moved.

Raingel looks at the devil before he moved forward faster than sound as a sonic boom can be heard when he lowered his body.

BOOM!

His sword was held with both hands as it was placed down to the ground. Raingel hoping to strike it upwards like a swift motion...

ROAR!

It fail as the devil react fast enough roaring at Raingel stoping some of his momentum giving it the opportunity to doge to the side

Swish!

A breath of air passed the devil as he looks towards Raingel who was already ready to strike a second time. The devil was surprised at how fast Raingel was but it didn't matter.

"This will be the end of you human!" The devil roared in anger as its mane dance more fiercely than usual as it closed its mouth and breath out large changes of fire hotter than lava.

BRAA!

Raingel dash to the sides as he was being followed by the scoring heat of flames behind him as he was sweating like water.

He jumped to the air as the flames followed him. He looks in front of him flames scaring to burn him to ashes as he was corned with nowhere to go.

In the air, he can't move as there's nowhere to step on as the flames get closer...

Boom!

A sound was heard as Raingel appeared to the sides of the devil as he tried to kill it with one fell swoop. He held the long sword forwards wanting to jam the sword on its head.

Ding!

The devil's tail collided with Raingels's sword leaving sparks everywhere as Raingel duck his legs inward as he kicks on the air.

Boom!

The sound barrier was broken as raingel was pushed to the sides evading the flames coming towards him as he smirks towards the devil.

"HAHAHA COME ON THEN CATCH ME IF YOU CAN!" Raingel taunted as he fell to the ground before he could move his feet were grab by the earth as giant arms made of rocks grab him tightly.

ARK!

Raingel couth of blood as his body was being squished like a lemon. Raingel looks at the devil greeting his teeth and trying to get himself free.

"Foolish human! DO YOU THINK YOU CAN DEFEAT ME!" The devil said as he walks calmly around Raingel who smirks once more.

James was prepared to intervene but seeing Raingels smirk he stops himself and watches again on the sidelines. "This would be a fun show and a little bit cliches but it was good"
