Ch-17 Trial by sect (part1/?)

James traveled thousands of miles ( 1.2 Million miles) but found nothing but raging flames that get hotter the more he moved forward. He was getting impatient with traveling for hours but only finding one thing which was flames.

"What with this place? I know the cultivation world is vast but this is a whole other level! I mean it's been a few hours and thousands of miles away from where I started!" James said as he sighs to himself.

He let out Golden experience and made him create a forest out of the raging flames, like before a dense forest sported out as golden mist-covered that newly created forest.

The forest spanned for miles while great vitality came from within the forest as James slowly descended in the grass-filled ground before sitting on a branch of a tree.

"Let's rest for the time being," James said as he places his hand on the back of his head like a pillow and closed his eyes before starting to sleep soundly.

Hmm!

The only sound that could be heard was the air coming from his nose and a humming sound that made him fall asleep faster. But what he didn't say was the token he got from the cultivator was glowing in a hint of blue light.

While it was glowing a new carving appeared on the token it showed a tree that has endless roots spreading all over the token with no end to it. Then a name showed just below the tree 'elder of the Great elemental sect' Before it vanishes.

Everything turned silent one more as a small breezed passed by produced by the forest and showing great thank to him while Golden experience stood guard.

A few million miles away where the great elemental sect resides in the largest building in the whole sect a meeting is conducting because of the death of an elder a few hours ago.

They just all gathered after finding it out, they look each other in the eyes as there were four people gathered together in a big room that could hold a few hundred people. They sat on a chair surrounding a table made of different elements.

One of them has a much bigger seat than the other and the other also look in his direction as they waited patiently for him to speak.

The man has white hair fairly stream beard that extends to his chest he wears a black golden engraved robe with one purple star where his heart should be.

The man look at the three people in front of him with a small frown on his face. "I gathered you today because one of our elders died and another replaces him... What do you all think?"

He asks all three of them as they all look at each other before looking at the man in front of them. They all had a respectful tone in their voice as they spoke.

"Sect master my opinion is killing that man! He killed one of us! And wanting to replace him? What kind of sect are we? We are one of the strongest in this world!" One of the men said he saw dark red hair, purple eyes, and a robe with silver linings.

The rest nodded their head, as it would be a great shame if they don't retaliate at all if others found out they would be a laughing stock and would be shamed for not avenging their elders.

"yes, I agree we should kill the person who killed one of our own! It would be a great shame if others find out"

"I agree to it would be an embracement for this sect if we don't even avenge our own elder and let the one who killed him roam free"

The master of the sect nodded his head in agreement. "Then we would wait until he came here and initiate him! Don't speak of this to anyone now dismiss"

He said as all three of them nodded their head and left to do their own things. While the master of the sect stayed and look at where they left off, he shook his head in disappointment.

"You elders just want to get rid of a threat to your own life... The elder who died was known to be the cruelest among the sect he killed many, enslave and rape many women... I couldn't do anything to him because he was an elder and you people don't agree"

"Im very disappointed at you three," The master of the sect said as he sat up and slowly walk toward his sleeping chamber to cultivate until that said person arrives.

As the three sect elders left the master's tower they all gathered in one place, their bright smile was long gone and was replaced with disdain.

"I can't believe that trash would die so soon! I knew he would die we shouldn't have let him go!" Said one of the elders who was the one to spoke to the sect master first.

Sigh!

"Calm down second elder we can't change the past... The only thing we should think right now is how to get the artifact from that man who might have it after all he killed the fourth elder so he might have the token" Said the first elder of the great elemental sect.

"hmm, your right but to find him we would have to search millions upon millions of miles... Should we just wait here?" Said the third elder.

"Yes, we can after all the sect master agrees with us... And besides, we have all agreed to kill him right? Hahaha, that old fool can't do anything to us" Said the second elder with a small laugh.

They all nodded their head as they smiled evilly before taking out their respective tokens. The first elder has a token that has a symbol of a behemoth with snow everywhere.

The second elder has a token with a symbol of a snake with blazing flames around it. The third elder has a token with a symbol of a tiger leading to the sky as the wind gathers around its feet.

"Where just missing the masters token along with that fools missing token, sect masters token that of darkness while fourth elders are wood," Said the first elder as he smiled and turned around leaving along with the rest of them heading to the respective residence.
