After waiting what felt like years Sukuna finally appeared behind me which I felt easily but still let it happen.

" Looks likes Itadori lost control, what a pity. " Megumi said.

" Hm? You don't care about your friend? " Sukuna said with an amused smile.

" I wouldn't say that, but I guess he deserves a beating once he's back. " Megumi said as he let out a cold breath.

" Hm? You really think he'll come back? Let's see if you'll hesitate after this! " Sukuna said before stabbing and taking out his heart.

" Congrats, now he's heartless. I hope you feel good now? " Megumi asked yawning to his hand.

" Are you looking down on me ? " Sukuna asked with a disappointed expression.

" Obviously. " Megumi said lifting his hand and making ice slowly crawl up Sukunas body starting from his legs.

" You'll regret that. " Sukuna smirked before cutting off his legs and regrowing them before attacking.

Easily dodging most of the attacks was pretty easy,

' hm, after having the experience of Ultra instinct it makes this easier. ' Megumi thought.

" Okay I'm getting bored. " Megumi said grabbing Sukunas head and slamming it to the floor making him cough up some blood.

" Sigh Looks like I'll only have a match once you're at full power. For now go back to sleep. " Megumi said as he spread darkness all over Itadori body making the marks/tattoos go away.

" Thank you. " Itadori said with a satisfied smile.

" Just know you'll be missed and you did nothing wrong. I hope you won't curse me. " Megumi said as Itadori just chuckled before falling faceflat.

" Well, I expected it but that was boring as fuck. I didn't even feel the normal feeling when I kill something. Sigh I hope I'm not getting bored of killing. " Megumi frowned.

Itadori was taken away as we had to give Nobara the news that weren't really true. We were sitting in front of a house/building at the school

" Why did you knock me out? I could've helped. " Nobara said pissed and sad.

" Trust me, you struggled against those weak curses you wouldn't have helped at all. Though I rather be you because I have to live with the fact I wasn't strong enough to save my friend. " Megumi said pretending to be said with his head down.

" I'm sorry. I wasn't blaming you. " Nobara said which Megumi just nodded.

I could tell she wanted to cry but I didn't say anything because technically I killed him.

" You look more depressed than usual. " Maki said.

" Hm? " Megumi looked up seeing who it is before remember which she is.

' Sigh, I still remember how she was my favorite character in this anime. Well whatever nothing will probably happen between us but no reason not to try. ' Megumi thought.

Soon the other two with her explained that one of their friends died which she apologized for not knowing.

They started explaining the tournament or whatever it was called I could careless as an author and as the Mc.

" I'm in, cuz I have to get stronger. " Nobara said which made everybody look and Megumi for his answer.

Arriving I saw everybody already Training while toge and Maki stretched.

" Yawn~ I guess I'm late? " Megumi asked with a tired expression.

" Yes you are, and for that I'm not gonna take it easy on you. " Maki said with a evil grin.

" Sigh, calm down evil princess I'm sure i won't learn anything from you. " Megumi said as he laid on the grass.

" Huh? Are you saying I'm a bad teacher? I'll beat the lessons into you! " Maki shouted.

" No but I guess if you're gonna teach like that I wouldn't mind a little S&M play~ Though I rather be the S~ Anyways I meant I'm too strong for you, to be exact I could argue I'm as strong as Gojo. " Megumi said making Maki laugh.

" Oh yeah? We'll see about that in a bit. " Maki said as she finished stretching.

" Ready? " Maki asked which made Megumi get up.

" Fine, care to make a bet then? Or are you not confident? " Megumi said.

" Hm? Sure if I win you're gonna do whatever I say till the competition is finished. " Maki said grinning as if knowing she'll win.

" Oh my how lewd~ " Megumi said in a joking tone but still made Maki blush.

" Not like that! Anyways what do you want if you win? " Making quickly calmed down after her shout.

" Hm…How about a date? " Megumi asked making everybody stop doing what they're doing…

" Or not? " Megumi added.

" Huh? Did Megumi always have a crush on maki? " Nobara asked which Megumi just shrugged and walk Yk the open space.

" Fine if a date is too much for you I'll just do the same bet as you. " Megumi said as he stretched a little.

Maki finally came out of her state but she was still shocked,

" We could since it's a bet and I'm technically have the better deal. I've just never been on a date nor asked Into one…" Maki explained as she whispered the last sentence.

" It's fine, we'll just get a meal. " Megumi said which she nodded and got into her position.

" So how will we do this? " Megumi said as he dodged a strike from Makis pole.

" First one to tire out or some like that? " Maki smirked as she kept attacking just to be redirected by Megumi or completely dodged which was shocking to her.

This continued for a few more minutes before she frowned cuz she was starting to get tired a little,

" How come you're not using your abilities? I never said it was prohibited. " Maki said striking again towards Megumi who just dodged.

" I guess but that would be unfair. You could call it chivalry or something but definitely not looking down on you if that's what you think. " Megumi explained but it only pissed off Maki as she put all her power to the next attack try to hit Megumi in the head vertically.

" this is enough, we'll just keep it as a tie. " Megumi said after kicking the pole and breaking it in half.

" I'm starting to get hungry so I'll be going. " Megumi said as he turned around.

But before he could leave he felt something grab his shirt,

" I-I lost. I will keep my promise and go on that date. " She said hesitantly.

Megumi just smirked seeing this which made her annoyed,

" It's alright no need to force yourself. I'm going now good luck training Nobara. " Megumi said leaving but Maki felt unsatisfied and promised herself to definitely go on a date with him when she can to keep her mind at peace.
