74 74. Fighting Against The Trolls

The three Idol girls glanced at each other, not knowing what they should do since the demon was only treated like a child by Izumi's party.

One of the three girls is Lia.

Lia is dressed in a white and dark-blue short dress with a long blue vest and a shoulder plate on the right arm. She also uses black long gloves and stockings with leather boots, a belt, and gauntlets.

She is a young girl with green eyes and long thick black hair that touches her hips with bangs. She is also the leader of the idol group Axel Hearts and an adventurer.

But well, as an adventurer, her rank was still too low.

The other members are Erika and Cielo.

Erika is a young girl with bright bubblegum pink eyes and hair, with ponytails that fall to her hips.

She uses a pink idol outfit, with pink stockings, black gauntlets, half-chest armor, a white fake shirt necklace with a red floppy bowtie, and a colored low-cut and short sundress with tails. She wears a black over-the-knee black boot on the right leg and a wedge boot on the left.

And Cielo is a short young woman with short honey-blonde hair and green eyes. Cielo wears a green short dress with long sleeves and exposed shoulders. She also uses grey pantyhose and black and green wellies.

"There's nothing wrong with my eyes, right?" Lia asked her friends.

"What do you mean?" Erika replied shortly.

"I mean, his head can sublimate and can be reshaped." Lia explained. And of course, what was meant was how Izumi's head sublimed.

"I saw it too. Like a boy named Luffy who can stretch his body like rubber. I wonder, since when did anyone have that kind of power?" Erika held her chin in wonder.

"Devil Fruit isn't it? Have you heard of it? Are they also the demon race?" Cielo asked.

"I doubt it. But, I feel that they know where I come from." Lia remembered what Kuroneko said, so she was a little curious if Kuroneko knew about her past.

"You know the black-haired girl with them? She said that my facial features are Japanese. Do you know where Japan is?" Lia explained and also asked where it was. But, Erika and Cielo shook their heads.

Then, Erika said.

"Since she knows where you come from, she might know who you really are, Lia. Maybe they can take you back to your hometown to restore your memory."

Apparently, the reason why Lia's face has Japanese facial features, but feels foreign to Kuroneko is that she has lost her memory.

"But, when your memory comes back, will you leave us?" Cielo asked her worriedly.

"No way. I won't do anything like that. Even if my memory returns later, I will still be with you as a member and leader of Axel Hearts." Lia hugged them to comfort them. Then, she continued.

"Anyway, shall we go to take a look?"

Erika and Cielo nodded. Then, they rushed toward the town gate because Izumi had thrown the two trolls out of the town.

While Lia was running, she thought about what Kuroneko said earlier. If what Kuroneko said was true, then they were from the same hometown. This made Lia curious and wanted to ask her directly. But now wasn't the time to ask.

The two trolls that were blasted away by Izumi's attack landed in an open field outside the town.

The gatekeepers saw something landed and wanted to check it, but someone warned them.

"Stay away! You're no match for those demons."

The gatekeeper saw a young man flying toward the "demons" he mentioned earlier.

"Demons? Those are demons?"

"More importantly, did you see that? That youngster can fly."

The gatekeepers started whispering because of the appearance of demons and the young man was none other than Izumi who could fly.

Meanwhile.

Daniel got up holding his chest in pain. Charlie, the green troll also started to get up. Daniel said without turning to look at Charlie while watching Izumi floating in the air.

"Charlie, this kid is too strong. What should we do?"

"Do you need to ask? Of course, we can only fight to the death."

"Hey, you don't sound like you're talking to your boss."

"Just ignore that little thing! More importantly, think about how we can survive."

Daniel and Charlie talked to each other while thinking about how they could survive after feeling how strong Izumi was to them.

Daniel didn't understand how Izumi could sublimate his body. Both Izumi and Luffy could transform their bodies into something. Izumi could become wind, while Luffy could become rubber. Both of them were very hard to deal with. He never imagined that humans would have such strange powers.

He could only grit his teeth. Never thought that when his plan was about to succeed, a human got in his way and made a strong youngster like Izumi appear in front of him.

Daniel watched Izumi who seemed to be waiting for him to move first. Not knowing what Izumi was thinking, Daniel didn't dare to take the first step.

A few moments later. Luffy and Kuroneko came while riding the griffon.

Luffy jumped and landed beside Izumi. While Kuroneko waited for the griffon to land before she set foot on the ground.

"Luffy, your fight against him isn't over yet. Why don't you continue now?"

"Right. He's a bad guy who likes to kidnap people."

"Yup. If we continue to let him go, he won't stop kidnapping people."

"Then, I'll stop him."

Luffy immediately rushed toward Daniel while releasing a straightforward punch.

Daniel asked Charlie to fight together. He dodged Luffy's punch, grabbed his arm, then let Charlie attack Luffy with his huge mace.

Luffy was used as a sandbag by both of them because of the perfect combination attack. Luffy was thrown in front of Izumi after the consecutive attacks that Daniel and Charlie unleashed. Even so, Luffy wasn't hurt at all because their attacks had no impact on his body since his body is like rubber.

"Luffy, your attacks were too straightforward. Try to use your head, can you?"

Luffy nodded at Izumi's suggestion. Then, Luffy stretched both of his hands and took hold of Daniel to bind him with his arms.

Luffy stretched his neck backward, then snapped it back for a devastating head butt to Daniel's face.

"Gomu Gomu no Kane."

*Bang* Daniel felt dizzy after a sudden head butt. Then he fell to the ground.

Luffy turned to Izumi and said, "You're right, I should use my head. Look, it works!" Luffy pointed at Daniel.

Izumi was flabbergasted. He snapped out.

"I DIDN'T MEAN TO USE YOUR HEAD TO ATTACK, YOU DUMBASS!"

Even Charlie, the green troll, was speechless when they heard their conversation.

Kuroneko who was on the side laughed so hard while holding her stomach due to Luffy's stupidity.

Charlie woke up from his daze. Then, he rushed toward Daniel.

"Boss, are you alright?" Charlie asked in concern.

"Did you see me "all right"? Are you blind?" Daniel answered furiously.

"That's not what I mean."

Daniel got up and glanced at Luffy, then at Izumi.

"That black-haired brat was just toying with us. He's just watching over us and letting the rubber brat fight against us."

"What should we do, boss? Do we have a chance to escape?" Charlie asked.

"We do. Even if it's a big risk, we'll have a chance." Daniel nodded. After that, he whispered something to Charlie.

Charlie nodded. Then both of them moved together simultaneously toward Luffy.

"Gomu Gomu no Gatling!" Luffy unleashed a barrage of punches. However, since Daniel remembered Luffy's attack pattern, Charlie was told to come forward to take the hit, and at the same time, Daniel immediately grabbed Luffy's hand to restrain him.

Knowing his hand was grabbed and his movements restricted, Luffy stretched out his other hand to grab Daniel. Then he lifted Daniel up and slammed him to the ground.

*Bang*

Daniel himself did not expect Luffy to actually use the opportunity in that narrowness to strike back. As a result, Daniel received damage after being slammed by Luffy.

When Luffy let his guard down, Charlie attacked Luffy with his long nails.

Blood splattered from Luffy's back which was injured by Charlie. Seeing this, Charlie lit up his eyes wide.
