52 52. Backfired?

At a certain office.

Two people lay on the table listlessly. No authors have submitted novels nowadays. So they have a lot of free time now. Both are editors of Gongon Publishing Co.Ltd, a novel and manga publishing company. One of them was a blonde-haired woman tied in a ponytail, her name was Otosuna Mihari. The other one looked like a lolita girl with short green hair, it was Matome Minano.

"Mihari-chan, why don't you try to look for an author?" Minano asked Mihari lazily.

"Aren't you the one who's too lazy to find a new author?" Mihari replied.

It was at that moment that Mihari happened to notice something on her PC screen. She checked lazily. She was surprised that there was an author who sent their works. Then, Mihari opened it and read the content within a few minutes. She found the novel so funny, then she turned her head.

"Minano-Sensei!! Look at this! This novel is so good."

Minano stood by her side and started to read. She also found it interesting.

"Who's the sender?" Minano asked.

"His pen name is Ultimate_Sensei." Mihari replied.

— — — —

The sender, who was none other than Izumi, was unaware that his novel had surprised two editors at a certain company because he went somewhere.

*Ping pong*

"Excuse me!"

Izumi was in front of Kyouko's house, waiting for someone to open the door after ringing the bell.

Kyouko opened the door and let Izumi in. It seemed she forgot about how Izumi went to school together with Mafuyu in the morning.

"Come in, Miyamura!"

"Big brother, welcome." Souta greeted him happily.

"Here, ice cream for you. Also here, I have something for you." Izumi gave Souta an ice cream and a ship toy. The toy was made by Izumi from the remaining material when he modified his drone. In addition, he made it with a shape like the Going Merry ship.

"Waahh, it's a ship. Thank you, big brother!" Souta hugged Izumi excitedly. Izumi smiled and patted his head in response.

Then he turned to Kyouko and gave her a present. The gift was carefully wrapped.

"What is this?" Kyouko asked curiously.

"Why don't you just open it? You'll know what's inside." Izumi grinned.

Kyouko suspiciously looked at him. As soon as she unwrapped it, inside was an elegant Gothic dress with red and black frills.

"You want me to wear this?" Kyouko asked him in surprise. Izumi just nodded and anticipated Kyouko's appearance as she wore the dress.

"Eh, I just wanted to give it to you. As for whether you want to wear it or not, that's another story." Izumi was just sweet-talking. He wouldn't have expected Kyouko to want to wear it now. Though he would be happy if he could see her figure wearing that dress.

"Of course, I won't! Why should I wear it just for you?" Even though Kyouko said that her face looked the opposite of what she said. It was obvious when Kyouko's face started to turn red.

"She looks cute when she's bashful." Izumi thought.

"Oh right, Hori-san. Can you help me with something?" Izumi said while taking out something from his backpack.

"What is it?" Kyouko didn't know why Izumi was carrying a backpack. Turns out he was carrying a laptop. She became curious about what made Izumi ask for her help.

Izumi turned on his laptop and opened the app in it. He opened the previous 3D drawing he made and showed it to Kyouko next to it. The 3D drawing was unfinished and still needed some finishing touches. Since the 3D drawing he made was a 3D design of a girl, he asked for Kyouko's opinion. Kyouko's eyes opened wide as if impressed by the 3D design and was about to praise it.

"Turns out you're an acute otaku, Miyamura. You even make a 3D like that." Kyouko gave him an honest opinion which left him dumbfounded.

"I thought you'd compliment me." Izumi said dejectedly.

"Hihihi. It's so cute, Miyamura. Why did you make this? Want to make an anime?" Kyouko was clearly intrigued by that, though she had no idea why he was showing it to her.

"No, I want to make an idol. A Virtual Idol to be exact. And she will become an idol on the internet who sings a lot of songs." Izumi said while pointing at the 3D design inside his laptop.

Izumi certainly made a 3D design of Hatsune Miku, the virtual idol created by Crypton Future Media who didn't exist in his current world. Since the Yamaha company didn't make Vocaloid software, Hatsune Miku didn't exist in this world either.

Hatsune Miku is very popular among anime lovers even though she herself is not the main character in the anime. Her popularity has also exceeded many idols in the real world even though she is only a virtual.

Her unique and cute voice was made from synthesis software, and her virtual appearance as a 15-year-old girl with twin tails made everyone adore her. Izumi didn't waste the opportunity to create Hatsune Miku in his world since he knew there was no Crypton or Vocaloid.

"What do you think, Hori-san?" Izumi asked. Izumi actually showed her a 3D design just for the sake of their conversation. In addition, he could also tell Kyouko indirectly that he was an "otaku" that many people despised.

"Hmmm, she's cute though. You're pretty good at this, aren't you?" Kyouko was impressed with Izumi. Previously, he had shown Kyouko that he made a drone. And now he wants to create an idol on the internet using a 3D design of a girl.

Izumi shook his head.

"This is just the beginning. I still have to make movements, look for voice samples, and also create software. Last but not least, I need to create songs."

"Eh, so many? Can you do that?"

"Well, not now. But, I believe I can."

Of course, Izumi believed that he could. If he wanted to make a song, he just took a sample from the original Vocaloid song. What he had in mind was, how would he display Hatsune Miku holographically to the real world. And it is still being studied by him.

Izumi was immersed in his thoughts. Suddenly, Kyouko asked him.

"Is this kind of girl your type, Miyamura?" Kyouko looked at him.

Izumi was speechless at her.

Of course, Izumi liked the type of girl like Hatsune Miku. However, he can still tell the difference between virtual and reality.

"So this kind of girl is your type, huh?" Kyouko glared at her. But, Izumi just replied jokingly.

"Well, how about if you dress up like her? You might be my type."

"So, I'm not your type, huh? Stupid Miyamura! Hmmph!!"

"Eh, why is it backfired? Shouldn't she feel bashful?" Izumi said inwardly.

Izumi wanted to slap his head so badly. He might be a little smart, but when it comes to romance, he's still inexperienced, let alone dealing with a girl he's starting to like. Even in his previous life, he only had a girlfriend once but broke up within 1 year just because the girl he liked was too materialistic and Izumi couldn't stand it.

Since then, he began to think that if he wanted to get a partner, he must have capital. The world is full of transactions. A relationship is also not spared from it.

How can a relationship require a transaction? Dating requires capital, in return, the financier will get love. Marriage needs capital, in exchange, the couple will be bound by the terms husband and wife.

There may be some people who fail, but that is also part of transactions such as buying and selling transactions that sometimes involve fraud and so on.

When Izumi got to work first, he was ready to hook up with a woman at work that he liked. Too bad, before he dared to approach her, death picked him up first.

Because of what happened to him in the past, Izumi has no experience in romance, and the way he approaches a girl is also different from other boys.
