245. Terminator

*Crash* *Bang*

A shadow of a person was thrown by a powerful kick as he crashed into the wall with a loud bang.

Kumoko was surprised when Izumi suddenly turned into a brick and then appeared beside the elf with a kick that sent him flying to the wall. It turned out that her eyes had been tricked by Izumi's ability. And more surprisingly, Izumi used something she had seen in anime.

"Ninjutsu?"

It was the first time she had seen someone from her original world use an ability like Ninjutsu.

Meanwhile, Potimas, who didn't know about ninjutsu, was amazed at what Izumi had just done. What he had in mind was that Izumi had a unique skill that was quite troublesome.

Though, he was wrong about that.

Potimas unleashed an anti-magic field. The effect was obvious, it was to disturb the magic circuit before the magic itself was formed. On the other hand, Ninjutsu was quite different from magic although it looked the same from a clueless person's perspective. Ninjutsu is formed through spiritual energy that is converted into certain powers through chakra points and meridians. While magic is formed by forming a magic circle by using a spiritual power, which is usually called magic power.

Potimas felt a threat now. He didn't think an irregular appeared before him when he wanted to take care of the reincarnator.

Believing that fighting Izumi head-on would be pointless, he planned to change target.

It was obvious that his target was Sophia since Izumi seemed to protect her.

Yet Izumi knew he couldn't let Potimas have his way.

Although Kumoko was already strong enough, she depended too much on her magic. Rendering her to be useless in the anti-magic field set up by Potimas. Moreover, with Kumoko's new form, she becomes a burden due to not being used to her new body.

Izumi moved swiftly while drawing a sword from the storage space. Izumi used the Snow Sword art as he swung his sword at Potimas. Since the barrage of ice slashes released by Izumi was unavoidable, Potimas could only defend it by crossing his arms in front of his head.

The skin on Potimas' hands and some on his face were peeling off, and within, the thing that was encased by the skin was not flesh, but iron. It was an artificial body that Potimas created. And it was a cyborg that was run using the planetary energy that Potimas had stolen.

Although Potimas has a cowardly personality by using a cyborg that he remotely controls, he is actually a cunning person. And naturally, Izumi preferred not to disclose all of his abilities in front of the cunning man.

Potimas felt that what Izumi was showing was really absurd, even though he had already released an anti-magic field. But that thing seemed not to affect Izumi at all.

"How can you still use magic?" Potimas asked in annoyance.

Izumi responded with a smirk.

"I wonder… What do you think? If you guess correctly, I'll give you candy."

"You played me for a fool!"

"Aren't you?"

With Izumi's reply, Potimas was angered.

As for Kumoko. At first, Kumoko was just trying to analyze how strong Izumi was, but unexpectedly, she saw something out of place appearing in the fantasy world she lived in. Kumoko who saw what was behind Potimas's face made her scream in her heart.

"Hey hey, what's that? Terminator? How could something like that appear in this world? Old man, don't spoil the setting of a fantasy world of swords and magic, please!"

Well, what Kumoko saw was a cyborg-like Terminator which possessed immense strength and intelligence. Although it wasn't as bulky as Arnold Schwarzenegger, it was undoubtedly a Terminator.

Izumi didn't notice Kumoko's expression as he was focused on Potimas.

Suddenly, both of Potimas' upper wrists seemed to be cut but did not reveal any wires or something connected to his hands. Instead, it showed submachine guns that were ready to launch fire in Sophia's direction.

Without the trigger, and as it was connected to his arm, the gun fired bullets that were aimed at Sophia on purpose. Luckily Izumi realized where the gun was pointing, so he immediately jumped in between.

In a split second, Izumi replaced his sword with twin daggers that suddenly appeared in his hands.

*Bang Bang bang!*

Bullet after bullet that came out of those submachine guns were deafening. However, Izumi ignored the sound while gripping the twin daggers tightly with both hands.

"Dagger of Swift Defense!"

Using the defensive skill of the twin-dagger art, Immortal Touch, his two hands moved at a quick pace with each swing repelling bullet after bullet.

Not expecting Izumi to be able to stop the bullets, Potimas stopped his fire for a moment. That's when Izumi had a chance and threw a dagger at him.

Potimas was quite surprised by the dagger that was suddenly in front of him. On reflex, Potimas dodged the dagger. Unknowingly, while he was dodging, Izumi appeared holding the dagger he had just avoided.

The martial arts he was currently using were the easiest arts to trigger Rage State. Only by using one skill, the Rage state will activate instantly by imitating the movement of the skill that has just been used but has greater damage and attack speed.

Ariel appears while destroying the roof. Debris was also scattered and fell to the floor.

"Jan jan jan~~~Maou Shoujo, Ariel-chan arrives!!"

She placed her palm to her visible red eyes like a Chuunibyou.

"Haaa? Demon lord? Do you really have that kind of character?"

Kumoko screamed in her heart.

Her arrival, who seemed to have a different personality surprised Kumoko, although Kumoko also looks frightened by the arrival of the lolita girl.

Ariel looked around. She glanced at Kumoko who had a much different appearance from the last time they met. Although it surprised Ariel, what surprised her even more was the current appearance of her old acquaintance.

Although his head was almost split in a half, the voice was still normal.

It was quiet for a moment after Ariel appeared. Then Ariel asked Potimas amid the silence.

"Then, what are you doing here?"

"Who knows."

Ariel's aura changed drastically. Her power overflowed until it scared Kumoko, Sophia, and her mother.

"Just say it!"

Kumoko screamed in her heart.

"Bruh, that's terrible. Can I get out of here?"

Of course, her request couldn't be heard as she was saying to herself.

Suddenly, Potimas's head flew.

"You're too late Ariel-chan."

"Michael Jackson, huh?"

Ariel glanced at him while revealing a slight of her killing intent.

On the side, Kumoko mused inwardly, "Can you not call him Michael fucking Jackson?"

"Do you have a grudge against this old fart?" Izumi asked. "I'm about to finish him off, you know!"

And then, Ariel responded, "Then, you don't mind if I take up your job, do you?"

Izumi just shrugged his shoulders in reply.

"Suit yourself."

Ariel nodded in agreement. She had known Potimas for a long time, so she knew what he was like.

Potimas began to speak with the head that had been detached from his cyborg body.

"To think that I haven't had time to test this body on you, it's someone else who has destroyed this body."

Ariel turned her head, then answered.

"Next time, I will destroy your real body."

"If you can, try it! Little gi-"

*crash*

Before he could finish his speech, Ariel instantly smashed Potimas' head without showing any mercy.

Ariel looked at Izumi with her bloodshot eyes. She felt that Izumi had tricked her, so she was a bit angry. However, she also saw Izumi who was antagonizing Potimas. This created a tricky situation for her.

Because of what Izumi did to her earlier, she could be said to be antagonizing Izumi.

Elves were creatures that needed to be exterminated, but she couldn't handle them alone. Potimas has many powerful robots, and Potimas himself has many cyborg bodies that can be replaced at will. Ariel can't handle it alone because her strength will decrease drastically when dealing with Potimas who has an anti-magic field. Therefore, it would be better if she had a strong ally. And Izumi was the perfect candidate since he could wreck the cyborg within the anti-magic field.

Knowing what was on her mind, Izumi said to her.

"Shouldn't we just have a truce?"

"Actually that's what I wanted to do, not to you, but to that spider over there."

"Hey hey, little Maou-chan. You made a truce with her but not me? How much do you hate me?"

Ariel was still looking at him with a sharp gaze as if she wanted to eliminate him. So he tried to say something that might interest her.

"The reason Potimas is here. Do you know?"

Her brows lit up. She wanted to know why Potimas who usually played at the back dared to appear. Then, Izumi only pointed at two people, Kumoko and Sophia.

"If you know Kumoko's background, you'll understand what I mean."

At first, Ariel didn't understand why Izumi was pointing to a girl around a year old. However, hearing the "background", Ariel remembered and said to herself.
