151. A New Mission

Somewhere, Sakura was quarreling with a girl just because of fighting over Sasuke.

That girl has fair skin, light blue eyes, and long platinum blonde hair worn in a ponytail, with bangs framing the right side of her face. Her appearance can be said to be very beautiful and charming. She is Yamanaka Ino.

At that moment, Ino saw Naruto who was with two strangers, she asked Sakura to stop.

"Wait, wait, Sakura. Look at him! Who's with Naruto?" Ino pointed at Naruto who was guiding Izumi and Hiiro.

Sakura stopped and looked in that direction. Then ask Ino.

"You want to ask who those two are, the one with the glasses, or the one with shoulder-length hair?"

"A guy with shoulder-length hair, don't you think he looks charming and cool?"

Hearing Ino's words, Sakura furrowed her brows and could only say inwardly. "What a fickle girl!"

When Ino and Sakura talked about Izumi and Hiiro being guided by Naruto to go around Konoha, Izumi noticed the two of them because he sensed Sakura's aura. Izumi turned his head to Naruto. He pointed in a certain direction and said,

"Naruto, isn't that your sweetie over there?"

"Sweetie?" Naruto tilted his head in confusion. Looking at the direction Izumi was pointing, Naruto's face reddened.

"W-what do you mean by sweetie!? S-Sakura has nothing to do with it."

"Hmmm, did I say Sakura? Or perhaps you really have a crush on her?"

Naruto immediately shut his mouth. Izumi was too good at playing with words. Naruto didn't realize that what Izumi said had trapped him.

Sakura didn't approach them alone. She was accompanied by another girl around Sakura's age. Judging from her appearance, Izumi guessed that she was Ino.

"Naruto, who are these people with you? Don't you want to introduce them to me?"

From Ino's question, Izumi thought that she wanted to approach Hiiro considering he had the title of Lolita Slayer. But unexpectedly, Ino glanced at Izumi full of curiosity. This made Izumi feel that he had been infected by Hiiro's title.

"How troublesome!" Izumi said inwardly.

Izumi didn't deny that he was happy that someone was interested in him. Especially by a cute girl. Even though she could be called lolita, Izumi didn't really care about that because their ages were only two years apart. Nevertheless, Izumi wasn't interested in having a relationship after breaking up with Kyouko.

"Ah, they're..."

Before finishing what Naruto was about to say, Izumi cut him off.

"Izumi, Miyamura Izumi. I've never been to Konohagakure village, so I asked Naruto to guide me over." Izumi turned his head to Hiiro after that. But, Hiiro waved his hand.

"I'm not telling." Hiiro crossed his hands as he said that.

Izumi shook his head, then turned to Ino.

"Sorry about my friend being so secretive."

"No, no. It's alright. Anyway, I've never seen that symbol before, which village are you from?" Ino pointed at the symbol engraved on Izumi's forehead protector.

"We are from Kaiyougakure village. There are only dozens of people in our village, so it's only natural that you don't know about it." Izumi replied.

"I see. It was also my first time hearing it. So, what are you doing here? Do you perhaps want to take the Chunin exams?"

"Well, something like that, I guess."

"If you want, I can guide you around Konohagakure! How is it?" Ino approached Izumi and tried to cling to him. But Izumi flatly refused.

"Sorry, I've asked Naruto to take me around Konohagakure, I feel bad for him if I suddenly go with you and leave Naruto just like that."

"I see. Too bad! Then how about next time?" Even though Ino was a little disappointed, she still tried to get Izumi to go with her.

"If I have time. Anyway, see ya! Let's go, Naruto!" Izumi just nodded and walked away with Naruto and Hiiro.

"He prefers Naruto over me?" Ino pouted after Izumi had disappeared from her sight.

"That means he thinks you're ugly! So ugly that he turned down your offer." Sakura who was behind her actually heated Ino by mocking her.

"What did you say, broad forehead girl?"

Then the two of them started to bicker which made the people around them shake their heads.

Guided by Naruto, Izumi stopped by various places. The snack shop, the food shop, the academy, and all the way to the weapon shop.

Izumi rewarded him afterward by teaching Naruto how to control his chakra properly. Naruto could walk on the surface of the water. However, his control wasn't that stable. That was why Izumi pointed out step by step while also sensing the flow of chakra inside Naruto's body.

Hiiro himself actually wanted to try Ninjutsu as well, but knowing that he was worse than Naruto, he was reluctant to ask to be taught. He just thought it was better if the person who would teach him was not Izumi.

Naruto stood firmly on the still water. Then Izumi touched the water and made waves to shake off Naruto. Literally, that was not just training for Naruto's control over his chakra, but Izumi as well who was still training to control the water perfectly using his hydrokinesis ability.

Time passed, and before he knew it, the sun had already set, giving rise to the evening twilight.

An exhausted Naruto lay on the ground, while Hiiro had already left them hours ago. Suddenly, his phone vibrated.

Quests available:

First: Participate in the Chunin exams.

Second: Prevent Sasuke from joining Orochimaru's side.

Third: Stop Konoha's destruction.

Fourth: Invite 1 person to the chat group.

Bonus Quest:

First: Defeat Orochimaru.

Second: Defeat Itachi and Kisame.

Restriction: -

Participant: All members.

Reward: 4000 Shop Coins and a Mystical Chest to each member.

Bonus Reward: Completing the first and second of the bonus quest will grant 1 Legendary Chest each for two randomly selected members who participate in defeating them.

Quests can be started at any time within 2 hours and all participants will be transferred automatically if it exceeds 2 hours. Since members already have a landmark in the shinobi world, all participants who are not in the shinobi world will be transferred to the landmark point.

Time will stop in all worlds of the chat group members when the mission is started excluding the world where the mission is happening and will resume automatically after the mission is complete]

Izumi was surprised by the new mission notification since it was only a few days after the previous mission. What was more surprising was Kaiyougakure village became the new landmark in the shinobi world. So, whenever any members from the chat group came to the shinobi world, they would be transported to Kaiyougakure village.

"No restrictions? This mission should be harder than the mission in the one piece world. Is it because the members become much stronger and the system considers this mission as ★2?" Izumi muttered.

"Oh, crap. I forgot to leave a Jutsu formula on that island. How careless." Izumi slapped his own head in annoyance.

"Izumi-san?"

Naruto heard Izumi's yell and immediately looked at him.

Izumi turned to Naruto and said,

"Naruto, I have urgent business. Can you stand up?"

"Ah, I'm so tired, you can leave me alone!"

"Are you sure? Or, I can carry you."

Izumi could feel the auras surrounding him and Naruto, but they were just watching. So Izumi thought that they were the Anbu members in charge of watching over him.

Still, he was worried that they weren't the Anbu under the Hokage, but the Root under Danzo instead. It would be dangerous to leave Naruto alone.

Considering Danzo's personality which seemed distrustful toward people from another village, he could make trouble by slandering Izumi for doing something to Naruto. By doing so, Danzo could secure Naruto in his base and never let him out.

In the end, Izumi grabbed Naruto by the collar and carried him away.

After Izumi dropped Naruto off at his house, Izumi went back to the inn. Izumi felt the aura that previously followed him. Knowing their target was him, he was a little relieved to be able to figure out that the people who were watching him were the Anbu.

Arriving at the inn he was staying at, he immediately created a barrier by using the wind and prevented the others from eavesdropping. Then, he discussed it with the chat group members.

Izumi asked them.

"So, what about the outcome of the meeting?"

"Good enough for us." Warrod replied, then explained how the negotiation process was going. Tabane said that the materials for creating drones or other things were a bit scarce, so she said that at the very least, Konohagakure should provide 75% of the raw materials, and Tabane would create them. But in the end, Konohagakure asked to provide 60% of the materials for the manufacture. And Kaiyougakure still provided rare materials. Of course, Konohagakure also still paid for manufacturing services and the payment could be in the form of Jutsu scrolls or something else, except for the forbidden Jutsu.
