141. I Can Breathe Underwater

"What a nice view. It's like I'm visiting an Elven forest in my world. Your magic is amazing, Warrod-chan." Rori commented on what Warrod had done.

"Rori, please stop with a "-chan"! It's kinda weird if you called me with that prefix."

"Ufufufu. You're still younger than me. Naturally, I can call you whatever I want."

Hiiro didn't know why Rori said that. So, he whispered to Izumi.

"Hey, why did that girl act like a senior?"

Izumi looked at Hiiro first before he replied.

"Well, in terms of seniority, she's the oldest among our members."

Hiiro raised his brows in surprise. He didn't know all of the members yet. What he learned from the chat group were just features and missions. Ever since he knew where Izumi got his power from, he didn't really pay attention to others.

Izumi looked at Warrod from afar.

"But, to think that Warrod is also this strong. As expected of one of the saint wizards, I guess."

When Izumi thought about it, Warrod's power might have surpassed Kages in the shinobi world. However, he still didn't know the exact limit of Warrod's power.

Izumi himself wasn't sure when comparing the power in the shinobi world and the other worlds. And in terms of destructiveness, a super Kage level could flatten a mountain.

"But well, in a one-on-one situation, we have Rori on our side. There's no way a demigod can lose to a mortal." Izumi muttered in a low voice.

Izumi shook his head to forget about the comparison. Izumi only felt that the shinobi world was more dangerous than he imagined. However, this made Izumi curious about Madara's true strength. In fact, he felt that he wanted to fight against that legend.

"Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. Then Rinnegan, huh? Should I steal Danzo's research? He has a lot of Sharingan eyes. There may still be some that haven't been used." Izumi murmured before he curled up his mouth.

"What are you muttering about Izumi-chan?" Tabane didn't hear Izumi's words clearly. However, she knew that Izumi planned something.

Izumi answered with a smile.

"Nope! I just thought of something crazy. Don't mind me!"

"You've been crazy from the start!" Hiiro replied shortly.

"Did you just realize?" Izumi replied jokingly.

"Hey, get back to work!" Rori swung her Halberd and flung it to the ground. Hiiro jumped back in surprise which made the others chuckle.

"Oi, that was dangerous!" Hiiro wasn't like Izumi whose body was invulnerable to ordinary physical attacks, so Hiiro was a little scared when Rori swung her weapon at him.

Meanwhile, Izumi twitched his cheek. He wanted to voice out his complaint since Rori herself didn't help them to work. But, he sighed instead. It seemed he didn't want to piss Rori off.

Izumi and the others helped Warrod by building some facilities. Dojos or places to train, a shop, a tavern, and other facilities to make it look like a village in the shinobi world.

Izumi had no intention of developing the village into a permanent place to live yet because he only intended to use the village as camouflage for Izumi and the others. The reason was, the Kage of the Land of Fire would not be suspicious of Izumi's group when they came to Konoha.

After all, as long as there was Akatsuki, it would be too dangerous if they intended to build the village seriously with all of the chat group members.

Izumi didn't mean to make it too big since there weren't many members filling the vacancy.

Since the trees were lined up orderly from the short one to the tall one, they built suspension bridges that were connected to each other to form a spiral-like shape.

The sky turned orange indicating dusk had arrived. It had been hours since they started building. In just a day, they couldn't possibly finish establishing a village.

"Ahhhh, I'm tired!" Izumi raised both his hands while letting out his breath.

While Hiiro himself also wanted to immediately travel to this world. However, Hiiro stopped thinking that way because he had been told that the shinobi world was far more dangerous than Edea's.

The time will come for adventure in the shinobi world. But Hiiro thought it would be better to research the background and intricacies of the shinobi world first. After all, knowledge is power.

Meanwhile, Tabane held her chin while thinking about something missing such as defense systems or decorations.

"What are you thinking, Tabane-chan?" Izumi suddenly asked her.

"No. It's just that there's no defense system at all."

"Do you want to grow this village?"

"Well, naturally. Although it's not easy."

"Our members lived in their respective worlds. If we want to grow this hidden ocean village, we need someone who can watch over this village. Do you think someone would be willing to do so?"

"Hmmm. You're right. We need a new member at least. But, I think it's better if we have a lot of followers. So…"

"That's right. Let our names be known to this world."

Tabane smiled. However, they couldn't do it right before the chat group members leveled up. Most of them were still considered pretty weak. So, it was better if they could get stronger first.

"I'm going to the beach first!" Izumi said.

"Hmm?" Tabane looked at Izumi, wondering what he wanted to do on the beach. Then, she asked.

"You don't want to go home yet?"

"I want to try my new magic. Looks like I can't use this magic instantly which makes me have to train it first."

Izumi still had at least 3 hours left before going home, so he took the time to train his dragon slayer magic. After saying that, Izumi walked toward the shore while waving his hand to others.

Meanwhile, Warrod felt that today was enough, so everyone could do whatever they want.

"Dragon slayer magic, huh?"

"I want to see it too!"

"I wonder, what kind of magic is from another world."

Rori, Tabane, and Hiiro wanted to see Izumi with his new magic. And then, three of them followed Izumi from behind.

Arriving at the beach, Izumi took off his shirt and was only wearing shorts. The first thing he wanted to try was diving. His lungs could change to gills depending on the situation. But he didn't know if it required magic or not. So he tried without using magic first.

In the water, he held his breath for a moment. Afterward, he tried to breathe little by little. At first, he was a bit nervous since he wasn't breathing air, but drinking sea water. Astonishingly, his gills dissolved oxygen molecules from the water. Although the amount of oxygen wasn't as much as in the air, as long as Izumi took a lot of water, he could get a standard amount of oxygen just like when he breathed. He also didn't expect that he didn't need to use his magic power to transform his lungs into gills.

"Am I not human anymore?"

No one answered since he only asked in his mind. No doubt, he's still human. It's just that, his new magic doesn't only have advantages, there's even a side effect that can turn him into a dragon when he comes into contact with dragon blood.

"A dragon, huh? If I can control that power…" Izumi muttered with a smirk when he thought about the crazy possibility in his head.

Realizing that his experiment was successful, he is now trying to swim underwater.

Initially, he swam like a normal human. But over time, he began to try his Hydrokinesis ability, and little by little he became faster and faster underwater.

Too bad, his mastery over water is still at beginner level. If he could control the water perfectly, he couldn't imagine how strong he would be underwater. Especially in Luffy's world.

When he tried to use his Devil Fruit power, he became faster and it was easy for him to move around freely. But, he stopped it. He thought that it was not the time to test his Devil Fruit power.

As soon as he finished practicing his new magic, Izumi's head popped out of the water first before revealing all of his body. He was floating in midair using his Devil Fruit power.

"It seems almost three hours have passed."

Izumi felt that today was enough. His control over his new magic has already increased. When he looked at the surroundings, he realized that he was already far from the island.

Izumi's figure slowly got closer to the island while flying.

Rori and Tabane, who noticed him, immediately waved their hands. Meanwhile, Hiiro stiffened at Izumi's arrival.

After Izumi landed, Hiiro asked him.

"You… you can fly?"

"Hm? Naturally, yes. My Devil Fruit power gave me complete control over the wind."

"The fuck!" Hiiro exclaimed.

Complete control over the wind sounds exaggerated. Hiiro might not believe what Izumi said right away. But, the word "Devil Fruit" really made him curious. He wanted to know if what Izumi called "Devil Fruit" was what he had in mind or not.
