122. Avoros Appeared?

"I see. No wonder. Even though I was slightly suspicious since you knew that girl, I'm not quite sure because I didn't understand how you came into this world when no one summoned you. All I know, only this glasses boy and the girl earlier were accidentally summoned. And you're not a hero either." Judom commented.

Hiiro looked slightly surprised.

"So, you already know about me?" Hiiro asked.

"Based on the information I got, from the way you look and behave it's obvious that you are the person who was accidentally summoned along with the heroes. However, you immediately left the palace because you didn't want to be used." Judom explained. Then he turned his head in a certain direction.

"Speaking of which, they're late."

Izumi noticed the arrival of two people who seemed to be Judom's acquaintances. Both of them wore adventurer-style clothes, muscular bodies, and hair that were starting to grow gray. The two of them were Judom's aides who worked as the vice guild masters.

"You're late!" Judom was the first to speak.

"Sorry, Judom-san."

"Sorry boss. But what happened? Looks like there are traces of a fight."

The two of them immediately glared in Izumi and Hiiro's direction. It was obvious that the two of them had the appearance of the Evila race. But, Judom said,

"It does have something to do with them, but they are the ones helping. If the two of them don't help, I'm afraid you've seen my corpse here."

"What?"

"Seriously?"

Judom's aides were of course astonished, this was because Judom's words seemed to suggest that Izumi and Hiiro were much stronger than him. They understood that there was a third party looking to disrupt the conference.

"So, did the conference go smoothly?" One of the aides asked Judom. Judom shook his head to deny it.

"It's the opposite. It was our side who betrayed them by locking up the demon king with him inside the Oldine temple." Judom said while pointing his finger at Izumi. Then Judom described what happened during the conference to the two of them.

"Rudolph, that bastard!"

"Isn't he actually in conspiracy with the enemy who once betrayed us? Is he that stupid?"

"He's crazy indeed."

They were talking about Avoros who appeared again after he was reported to have been killed by Judom and Aquinas. And it seems that their assassination failed and instead created a more careful Avoros. However, Judom wanted to know how he would react if he found out that all of his puppets were destroyed at Izumi's hand.

Whereas Izumi asked something about the first time Hiiro was summoned to this world.

"Heh, that stupid king said that the key to returning to our world is within the demon lord's grasp? That was bullshit. And heroes still believed in the stupid king's words? They're definitely idiots, aren't they?" Izumi sneered.

Hiiro knew all too well how stupid those heroes were.

"That was why I refused to help. That girl also said so because she felt that their brains had some problems."

Judom and his aides only listened to their conversation with bitter smiles. What the kingdom had done was not something that could be simply ignored. Looking at it from Hiiro and Izumi's perspective, they certainly thought that Rudolph had kidnapped them. What's more, he couldn't promise to return them to earth.

Suddenly, Izumi turned his head in a certain direction while saying.

"Hmmm, he's finally here. I'm tired of waiting for so long."

"Huh?" The others looked at Izumi, then saw where Izumi was looking.

A kilometer away from them, they saw a person flying by using his pair of wings. Judom frowned at first, but then, he let out a smile. It seemed he knew who that person was.

However, Izumi knitted his brow. His appearance looked messy and his clothes were tattered as if had a great fight just a while ago.

When Aquinas landed, his lips curled down. He saw traces of a battle some time ago in his surroundings. He didn't find the person he was looking for, so he asked Izumi in front of him.

"Where is Your Majesty?"

"I teleported her back to Xaos with this guy's magic." Izumi pointed behind him using his thumb.

"Teleport?" Aquinas was surprised. Then he looked at the person Izumi pointed at. "Another Oni?" Hiiro had the same appearance as Izumi. So, he immediately concluded.

When he raised his head, he looked in another direction and saw Judom was nearby.

"Judom?"

Judom nodded and said.

"Long time no see, Aquinas!"

"Yeah, it's been a few years. What happened here?" After responding to Judom's words, Aquinas turned his head and asked Izumi.

"There were ten Valkyrias that appeared just after the king of the Humas race betrayed us—" Izumi explained through and through.

After listening to Izumi's explanation, Aquinas turned to Judom.

"So, even the strongest Humas couldn't do anything about Valkyria?

"Well, you can say so. All I could do was just buy time for him to finish off all of the Valkyrias." Judom replied.

Aquinas turned to Izumi.

"So you've been hiding your powers all this time? I thought I could keep up with you if you didn't use that eye of yours."

"I don't want Avoros to find out about my power before this plan succeeds. Well, even though I would have been overwhelmed earlier if it wasn't for the glasses guy's help."

"So, you've been this strong all this time, huh?"

Izumi didn't answer. He diverted with another question.

"Why did you take so long? If you got here sooner, you would be a great help." Izumi looked at him weirdly. Based on his calculations, Iraora's strength shouldn't be enough to make Aquinas in tatters like that.

It would be strange if the strongest Evila could take so long just to finish off Iraora even though Shublars and Grayald had assisted him.

"I fought Avoros. He appeared at the border bridge all of a sudden. After I, Shublars, and Grayald finished off Iraora, Avoros appeared with overwhelming strength and presence. Our magic was sealed, so we had a hard fight against him. It's a good thing you trained those two in hand-to-hand combat. If not, I'm afraid they would be dead already. Fortunately, Marione came at the right moment along with his men. So Avoros immediately retreated." Aquinas made a surprising statement.

"Did you get anything from Avoros? I mean, something belonging to him or related to him?"

"No, why did you ask that?" Aquinas shook his head, he didn't understand why Izumi asked that.

Seeing Aquinas looking confused, he introduced someone to him.

"Ah, I'll let you know about him, his name is Hiiro. His magic is very versatile, and with his magic, maybe we can track down where Avoros is hiding from the belongings of Avoros you found."

"Hey, don't just tell anybody about my magic without my permission!" Hiiro responded in annoyance when Izumi introduced him to someone else while talking about his magic.

"Don't forget, I have a way to let you go back to Japan!"

"Who cares if I'm going back to Japan or not? I can live here even if I can't go back."

"It's fine if you live here. But, I already told you who Avoros was. If he is still alive, then you should kill him first since his ambition is to rule this world and enslave all races. Ah, killing him is impossible for you, so let me take care of it. However, you should help me to find him. Don't be such an asshole who just hides when there's danger and comes out if there's not."

"Fuck! Why are you so annoying?"

"Why don't you look in the mirror first?"

The two of them argued with each other over a trivial matter. However, their argument made Aquinas ponder.

He had never heard of the Japan area on the Evila continent. And it seems like a place that is almost impossible to reach without Izumi's help.

Aquinas interrupted them.

"Erm, can I ask?"

Izumi and Hiiro turned their head simultaneously.

"What?" Izumi asked back.

"I've never heard of Japan before. Where is it?" Aquinas asked seriously.

But Izumi pointed upward.

"In another world."

"Huh?" Aquinas thought that Izumi was joking even though he asked seriously. However, Izumi immediately said,

"Your expression tells me that your ears have an issue. No bro, nothing wrong with your ears."

"What does that mean?"

"I'll tell you everything later. For now, let's go back to Xaos." Izumi suggested. Since Izumi was planning on saying everything, it would be better if everyone listened, rather than Izumi explaining it over and over again.
