119. Battle Against All Valkyrias Part 1

When all those Valkyrias started to surround them, Izumi said to Hiiro.

"Hiiro, quick, use your magic to gather them in one place. They're Valkyrias, artificial demons. Only you and Mr. Judom could barely fight one of them. If the others join the fight against the Valkyrias, they will only give their lives away."

Hiiro widened his eyes. Although he didn't want to believe it, if what Izumi said was true, then all of them will be in danger, including Eveam. If Eveam died, all his attempts to get a free ticket to the grand library would vanish.

Hiiro started to act. But once again, Izumi warned him.

"Don't try to catch them anywhere near here. I don't want one of them to accidentally escape, and the consequence will be fatal."

"Alright." Hiiro nodded.

Izumi turned toward Eveam.

"Look, Your Majesty! All of them were Kiria, who is your childhood friend! Do you still believe she is Kiria your childhood friend after seeing all of this? It's clear that they want to get rid of you. Go back to reality!"

Like it or not, Eveam had to accept the harsh reality. The childhood friend who was always with her turned out to be a tool to kill her.

Eveam couldn't believe what Izumi was saying, but Teckil who was beside her comforted her. Teckil also agreed with Izumi's words. Even though Eveam wanted Kiria back, it was impossible since Kiria was created to monitor Eveam's movements, and then kill her in the first place.

Meanwhile, Hiiro's already sent the Valkyrias away. Izumi glanced in a certain direction. Then, he told Teckil without looking at him.

"Be careful, some people are secretly observing us. It's better if you prepare your drawing in advance, Teckil! Then use your magic if they start attacking you!"

"Who else if not the king of Gabranth?"

Teckil frowned. But before he could ask something to Izumi, he already dashed toward the Valkyrias.

Hiiro had moved them away from Eveam. So Izumi can fight with all of his power without caring about his surroundings.

While looking at those Valkyrias, Izumi murmured.

"Did you think I'd just let you go after what you did earlier?"

With his current magic power, his Rules of the Area magic was able to cover a distance of almost two kilometers in diameter. The sudden upgrade in the distance of his magic was caused by breaking his limiter just now.

Previously, it was kinda hard for him to increase his power. It was as if he reached the level gap just like in the game. But then, the level gap increased after he met certain conditions.

That is quite a wide distance. And within that distance, Izumi was able to teleport as he pleased and block anyone who could use space magic.

Not only did his power increase, but he could use Haoshoku Haki as well. This was a great breakthrough for him. Too bad, exerting his willpower drained too much energy for him. He wouldn't last long in the battle if he used it frequently.

While holding his sword, Izumi dashed toward one of the three Valkyrias he just blasted earlier since they greatly took so much damage from Izumi's attack.

All Valkyrias' stats in the original novel was just 2200 in attack, defense, and agility. However, their stats should be over 2200 in this world. If indeed their stats exceed 2200, Izumi could be threatened because his defense stat is only less than 2000. Fortunately, his agility was over 3000. They couldn't be underestimated, but as long as Izumi was careful, he could take care of them one by one.

"Shit! Magic jamming."

Izumi cried out inwardly. He felt a slight disturbance preventing him from forming the structure of the magic circle.

Those Valkyrias naturally felt that Izumi was dangerous. While attacking him, they also activate the jamming to prevent Izumi from using his magic.

"Heh, you really want me to die, are you?" Izumi sneered at them.

One of them replied.

"Precisely. Your existence is the real threat of My Liege."

"Hahahaha." Izumi held his stomach while laughing.

"What's so funny?"

"How come it's not? Just say that "Your Liege" is too afraid of me that he won't dare to come here."

All of sudden, one of the Valkyrias attacked him. Good thing Izumi prepared beforehand.

"I've been waiting for this."

Izumi took out his dagger and held it with his left hand. While the other hand swung toward the nearby Valkyrias and created a triple slash of ice, he imbued his dagger in his left hand with his spiritual energy to counter the Valkyria who attacked him while dodging her attack.

However, his attack didn't manage to one-hit her. Instead, she threw backward with a shallow wound on her belly.

"Crap, my attack wasn't strong enough!"

Without further ado, Izumi launched a follow-up attack while ignoring the other Valkyrias.

Izumi performed an uppercut slash while he was still catching up with her. Following after, he flicked his sword to change the course.

All of the remaining Valkyrias widened their eyes. Letting Izumi move around freely would be fatal for them. It didn't take a minute, two of them had fallen in his hands.

The five of them attacked Izumi at the same time. From the front, left side, right side, and two from behind. Each of them wielded a spear, a halberd, a greatsword, a rapier, and dual swords.

Without wasting a good opportunity, the spear-wielding Valkyria in front of Izumi launched a sharp thrust that aimed at his heart.

Izumi wanted to dodge, but the other four also attacked simultaneously from various sides.

He blocked the spear thrust with his sword, while he took out his twin daggers and swiftly threw them at the two. He also performed a back kick to one of the Valkyrias while dodging the remaining Valkyria's attack.

He flicked his sword upward to throw the spear-wielding Valkyria's momentum. Then, he spun his sword and made the area around him turn into a blizzard. This blizzard slowed down their movements.

With that chance, Izumi prepared to launch his finishing move. However, when he was still gathering his spiritual power, a dagger flew toward him in a flash. Izumi was too late to dodge and it pierced his left shoulder.

Naturally, Izumi's temper flared up. He ignored those five Valkyrias and dashed toward the one who just attacked him.

While holding his sword, an illusion of an ice dragon appeared behind him. He immediately swung his sword with the cold energy and spiritual energy imbued within his sword.

A Valkyria in front of him immediately froze. Then, cracks started to appear all over her body before she shattered into pieces.

"Haaa, haaa, haaa." Izumi breathed heavily because he was releasing too much of his strength.

Since the blizzard didn't disappear right away, Izumi swiftly dashed in Hiiro's direction to take care of another Valkyria.

That Valkyria was a sword user, however, Izumi's speed was just too fast, to begin with. His barrages of slash couldn't be stopped easily.

Izumi didn't immediately kill her, but weakened her first. Since one of their bodies would be used to complete the mission, Izumi didn't want to destroy them.

All of sudden, Izumi performed a kick with his left foot. As a matter of course, she lost her balance. Without wasting any chance, Izumi thrust his sword into the Valkyria's stomach.

*Kacha*

Another magic crystal was destroyed.

But, at that moment, Izumi sensed movements in a certain direction. When he turned, he gritted his teeth in anger.

"FUCK OFF!"

Izumi put the dead body of the Valkyria into his storage space before he rushed to Kyouko's side since the Gabranth dared to attack at a time like this. There was Teckil on Eveam's side, so she would be safe. But, Kyouko's not. When the barrier protecting her was lifted up, her life would be in danger.
