[Even as a nigh-omnipotent being, you were nothing to a true omnipotent being. Within his domain—this world—you are merely a toy for him. One that he can break anytime he wants, anyway he wants.]

[Your existence was shattered into tiny shards and erased. Each of them—except one. Just a single shard succeeded in escaping his domain.]

["You" successfully left the world—his domain—and miraculously survived.]

[From outside, you witnessed how the world you were just in, was swallowed by an enormous dark sphere.]

[A beautiful girl, standing behind the sphere, looked at "you". "Izanagi, save Miyako quickly!" She said worriedly.]

[You couldn't understand her, but her words caused you to flare in anger. Before you could reply, she suddenly disappeared.]

[You were left alone… alone to roam around the void for an unknown amount of time… And maybe someday find a new world… and destroy that as well.]

"MIYAKO?!"

"Forget about the reward! That girl in the simulation said Miyako's name?"

[Affirmative. She did.]

"How?!"

[She may be her kidnapper.]

"What?! 'Miyako is in danger', is what she said." I felt my anger rising again. Along with anger, I also felt immense frustration. Even though I became omnipotent, why am I so weak that I can't even protect my loved ones?!

[Would you like me to find her last known location?]

"You can do that? DO THAT QUICKLY!!"

I might not be strong enough to defeat a level 3 being, yet my heart won't stop hurting. Even though logically I should stay as far away as possible from a level 3 being, I want to find that girl and take Miyako back from her. 

Love is such a cruel thing…

"WHERE IS SHE?!"

[Listen to this first. On level 2, there are 3 "domains" or Omniverse including yours. Excluding you, the other two "domains" have a selective omnipotent being as its owner. These two "owners" are actually "managers" of this level.]

[Managers are different from "ascenders". Ascenders move from one level to another, but managers are direct subordinates to the owner of level 10. They stay at this level to manage it and erase anomalies like you.]

[Would you still wish to know that girl's location?]

"... That's a lot of new information…" Honestly, her explanation scared me a lot. If I want to find Miyako, I'd have to possibly fight against creatures from level 10…

Yet, there's a strange unshaken resolve in my heart.

"Yes. Tell me."

[...Okay. The last location of that girl was traced to the nearest Omniverse. But it's a bit more complicated than that.]

"...what is it?"

[The two managers on this level are opposite to each other. One has turned his world into a world of superpowers, while the other turned it into a world of cultivation and Qi.]

[Just a few days ago, when you ascended to level 2, they both started fighting. Usually, they are equally matched, but somehow this time the cultivation world started to win and devour the superpower world.]

[That girl was traced to the center of the cultivation world.]

Ah… so that's what that dark sphere was.

"Does that mean I need to travel to the center of the cultivation world to find Miyako?"

"I see… I need to go immediately to save Miyako. And Aletia… it would be too dangerous to bring her along…"

We connected immediately. I can sense her happiness through our connection.

"Aletia, I won't be able to return today…"

I explained the situation to her.

"You idiot…" she spoke for the first time in our conversation.

"...what?" 

"YOU IDIOT! IF SHE'S KIDNAPPED THEN GO AND SAVE HER! WHY ARE YOU WASTING PRECIOUS TIME ON THIS?!"

I was speechless after hearing her.

"You love her as much as you love me right?" She continued, "Then just go and save her!"

This… I wasn't expecting such a reaction.

"But, I just brought you to this new world… Will you be fine?" I asked. Perhaps deep inside my heart, I was hoping for Aletia to stop me. I know I love Aletia more than I love Miyako, but that's not a justifiable reason to save one and leave another.

Perhaps I was hoping Aletia would stop me, so I wouldn't feel guilty about letting Miyako go. Maybe if she stopped me, I wouldn't fear dying without her and never being able to return to her.

…But, it was all a momentary thought.

Aletia's next words were more than enough to calm me down and give me enough courage to go save Miyako, even in the face of death.

"Stupid, I'll be fine. I love you. Now go." she said in a sweet voice.

With that, all the doubts in my heart were fully cleared. 

I need to save Miyako as soon as possible and return to Aletia.

"Seven, let's go to the new world."

[Yes…] 

Seven's voice sounded emotional for some reason. She sounded very happy.

[I will initiate the transfer at once.]

"Thank you."
