CH. 53: Silent Events

The beasts of The Glacier Territory surrounded the group of adventurers. Legendary yetis, frozen wyverns and primitive polar bears that were all six meter long.

The monsters emitted hostility and we're frenetically approaching the group while keeping their guard up. It was a basic fact that the more you venture into the dungeon the stronger and smarter the monsters will be, it could be seeing in the coordinated movements of the Silent Monsters.

But what is intellect when the power gap is absurdly big? "If we want to continue our adventure in the dungeon, we'll have to slay every single one of them..." Testarossa said while making her claws bigger and sharper, powerful to the point where it could cut down space-time itself.

Milim climbs on Akira's shoulder then whispers to him, "Can I fight those?!" She yells, "Of course you can, Milim... But give me a second"

"Saeko, since you're still level 8, how about fighting some of these monsters. Kill as much as you can before we move on to the floor boss" Akira tells Saeko. In this world's norms, level 8 was a very high level, she had enough power to slay these monster swarms.

"Alright!" She says with courage. She unsheathes her sword then runs at very high speed to the nearest monsters. The colossal seven meter Yeti that was covered in thick fur swinged his long arms across the air and made them fall on the ground where Saeko was standing on.

The impact destroys the hard floor and throws multiple debris in the sky as well as thick layers of snow that create small blizzard winds. The group is unaffected by this weather, their vision focused on Saeko that moves in speed so fast it destabilized the big Yeti.

In the dead zone the monster could not clearly perceive, Busujima appears then slashes one of his legs, "YOU'RE MINE!!" She shouts as chunks of meat fly with every centimeter that her sharp blade pierces through.

"GUAAAH!!" The monster groans. He looses balance then falls on his back. Saeko appears on his torso, seeing her, he punches his own torso but Saeko dodges his slow attack effortlessly, she throws at him multiple poisonous daggers that neutralize him.

Unable to move, she sheathes her sword then plants her hand in his torso, the upper left where his heart was situated. The paralyzed monster cries from the terrible feeling of Saeko searching his interiors.

She pulls her hand from the interior and reveals a glowing prismatic crystal. Once out of his body, the giant Yeti dies then becomes dust.

The crazy swordsman successfully took out one of the strongest monsters in the dungeon. The other Silent monsters where intimidated by this fight. Perhaps, she only killed one out of fifteen, but she did it without any assistance and in such a small time.

"Five minutes left Saeko!" Akira tells Saeko. Hearing this, her blood boils up, a blurry aura of heat envelopes her body edges and liquidize the cold snow around her, "It's now or never, let's see how powerful I've became~" She pulls out assassin daggers and a sharper sword.

The guild leader ―Raymond― was filling up massive amounts of paperwork that concerned the new adventurers, some of them were non-disclosure agreements who'se purpose was hiding the event that happened one hour ago during Ultima's power measurement, where twelve adventurers died.

And then, suddenly, Eina rushed into Raymond's office with a seismic device that was glowing red, "RAYMOND-SAMA! THERE'S AN EMERGENCY!!" She says with worry in her tone.

Raymond got surprised for a second by her sudden entry. But his full attention shifts into the red-glowing device that was put on his desk. "W-Wait... Is this for real??" He asks when he realizes what this means.

"Seismic activities are happening in the 59th floor of the dungeon!! This could be a potential outbreak!" She yells.

Raymond gets up from his desk and gives her a special order, "Initiate the emergency protocol. Everyone is prohibited from entering the dungeon until further research!" He tells her.

"Wh-What about the powerful adventurers that entered the dungeon an hour ago?? They'll found themselves ambushed by legendary monsters!!" She says.

Raymond gets terrified when he hears this, could it be that fate was toying with him? What will he do when the top adventurers of Orario get killed? He'll look like a fool !

"Send top adventurers from the Loki and Freya Familias to look for them." He searches his pockets then throws at Eina a glowing magical pocket-orb, "If the scouts get themselves into trouble, or if they find the lost adventurers, tell them to activate this teleportation device, it'll pull them out of the dungeon instantly. But it is a one use item, so i hope they don't do anything stupid" He tells Eina.

The elf girl looks at the orb for a few seconds before leaving the office with orders to follow.

The emergency siren of Babel activates and spreads loud alarming sounds that alert everyone in the city. The Loki and Freya Familias were immobilized and ready to go.

On the 59th floor, frozen monsters' bodies where falling like leafs with each minute. The crazy swordsman was slaying the Yetis and wyvern with an unparalleled inhuman strength. Her common thinking was being consumed by her impulses and instincts, to the point where she went in trance and just killed any beast that approached her.

But after five minutes of senseless killing, she collapsed on the ground, breathing heavily and regaining her composure after using so much energy. She had killed more then eight Yetis and thirteen wyverns.

And this was an incredible body count for a single person. One Yeti should take the effort of atleast five high-leveled adventurers. But Saeko soloed dozens in less than five minutes.

Akira teleports in front of Saeko before she falls on the ground, he grabs her shoulders then congratulates her, "You have done very well, let me out you back on track"

Saeko smiles then curls her lips. Akira gives her a kiss on the mouth that she enjoys a lot. Blushes appear on her cheeks and suddenly she feels her energy replenishing. This ecstatic feeling caused Saeko to grasp Akira's face with her hands and pull his mouth even closer.

Milim comes in front of the two with her hands behind her back, "What're you doing?" She asks with no idea. Saeko lets go of Akira abruptly then wipes her mouth, "I-I'm sorry i couldn't help it..." She says.

Milim smirks at Akira, "Mmmm~ Adult thingies~~" She says with a smirk.

'Who the fuck taught her this??' Akira thinks.

And then, a loud groan resonated through the entire floor, a draconic sound that seemed like real words, "ENOUGH!!"

The monsters that surrounding the group all left the place. A loud blizzard forms on the cliff in the mountain, with blue glowing pupils illuminating it. It was a dragon, an ice dragon that made the mountain look small how big he was.

"Velzard!!" Milim shouts, "That's not Velzard Milim, it's the floor boss." Akira responds.

The dragon plants his claws on the cliff then speaks loud words with pride, "Why are lowly demons disturbing the peace of the Glacier Dragon" The dragon pridefully asks while looking down on them.

"A talking bastard?" Carrera asks, "It is not that uncommon to encounter intelligent monster" Testarossa says. "We're also monsters!" Ultima exclaims. Testarossa frowns, "Please don't compare demon gods to lowly wild dragons..." She says.

The dragon gets annoyed after hearing this, "HOW DARE YOU INSULT THE MIGHT OF THE GLACIER DRAGON! YOU SHALL ALL GET BURIED IN MY ICE!!" He exclaims.

The dragon charges up his breath then releases a huge blizzard of icy winds from his mouth. It coves up the whole surface and freezes everything, including the frozen monsters.

"Yer breath stinks bastard!" Carrera yells. She sways her hand across the air with her full force and in a second the whole blizzard dissipates with the dragon being shocked.

"I-IMPOSSIBLE! I WON'T BE INTIMIDATED BY NASTY DEMONS!!" He flaps his wings then flies to the sky.

Enormous icicles form on his scales which drop on the surface with sharp tips that pierce through the Earth's crust. Their height is over six meters, falling from all directions.

"FEAR THE POWER OF THE GLACIER DRAGON!" The dragon shouts. The fire rate accelerates and the surface gets all covered up by the giant icicles.

It stops after a few minutes of nonstop attacking. The dragon lands on the ground and starts inspecting the area.

"They're gone." He says with pride. But as he thinks the group is dead, a purplish pitch-black color takes his attention. A freezing sweat forms on his scaled face, "D-Don't tell me..." He mumbles.

Ultima is pointing her palm at the dragon, "Let me handle this... [ Death Touch ] !" She casts.

In an instant, all the icicles covering the surface get evaporated instantly. When the shockwave reaches the Glacier Dragon, he feels a big part of his energy being drained... He tries moving his arm, he still has control but his scales were not responding.

"M-My defensive scales..." The dragon mumbled with growing fear. Ultima smiles sadistically and causes the dragon to flinch, "I will eat you alive my dear~!" She says with a sadistic blush on her face.

Her [Death Touch] killed the offensive scale of the dragon. The icicles all faded and so did his pride.

His hands tremble, "I-Is this... Fear??" He mumbles.

"GURAAAAAAAAH!!" He shouts. Death or failure was not an option, "I'LL FIGHT TILL MY LAST BREATH!! DEMONS WON'T WIN AGAINST AN ANCIENT DRAGON!!!" He yells with determination and scorching pride.

But as soon as he flies, a dot appear on his forehead, the light is coming from the blonde haired demoness that was charging up her weapon. <Doom> was pointing accurately at the dragon's forehead.

"Begone now bastard!!" Carrera points <Doom> at the dragon's head then pulls the trigger. <Doom> shouts a very thin laser beam that pierced through the dragon's head and completely obliterated the ceiling of the dungeon floor.

The blue pupils in the dragon's eyes disappear, with a blacking mind, he speaks his last words, "B-But.... I killed gods....." He says in confusion, wondering how demons were stronger than gods.

Then, his skull explodes and his brains fly apart. His dead body falls on the ground then dissipates, hundreds of big crystals are the only thing left, that and his fractured skull, as well as a golden master key with precious mineral ornaments.

Carrera's <Doom> starts cooling down after shooting a very precise bullet that incinerated the dragon. Only his skull was left, a trophy for the first people who cleared the Glacier Territory.

Akira picks up the key and places the crystal and the skull in his imaginary space. "This is the key to the 60th floor." The key disappears from Akira's hands then a obsidian portal that leads to nowhere forms in front of him, on it was written 'Level 60'.

"Another level down! So exciting!" Milim says.

"I have to say that I'm quite eager by what's on the other side of that door. I'm very entertained." Testarossa says with elegance

Akira opens the door, and there goes, the unexplored part of the dungeon.
