CH. 147: Fulfilled Promise

"Haha. Tell me, Lord Nox. You've really changed since our last encounter. Were you always this focused on ruining our lives? Or did someone *looks at Yatan, strike you with a once in a lifetime deal?" Regan asked, with a smile on his face.

Akira took a second to think before replying, "Hahaha noo on the contrary, I'm the one who stroke the deal this time. Alas, I've always been like this, our encounter was nothing but pure hazard, but at least we got to know each other." He said, letting go of Irene while approaching Regan.

Regan smiled, then he continued, "Listen here Lord Akira. I know that I stand no chance against you, the god destruction and... Whoever that kid may be *points at Ultima, but as loyal guard who's been faithful to his master for more than 30 years now, I'd like to offer you my head in exchange of world peace." Regan said, focusing his spear towards Akira but without any intention to strike for now.

The other guards and adventurers looked at Regan in disbelief of the sacrifice he was ready to make for their safety, they admired his courage and selfishly wished the lunatic god would accept this proposal.

Akira wasn't totally against the idea of taking the head of this courageous solider but he has nothing to do with it other than throwing it away when this is all over, "Mmm, nah I prefer taking this girl with me instead~" Akira said, taking Irene from her arm and pulling her very close to him.

"Woooah!!" Irene let out as her movements were controlled by Akira. "She's a saint meanwhile I'm a fucking devil do you know how good it feels to corrupt pure souls like hers?" Akira said, chuckling as he pronounced that sentence.

Irene could feel her body squeezing against his and it made her heart race like crazy. Regan was disappointed Akira didn't accept his offer and Steim was about to bust a nerve.

"I won't let you hurt the Earl's daughter even if it costs me my life... RAAAAAH!!" He shouted a battle cry as he ran towards Akira with his spear pointing right at him.

But soon as he got into a close enough perimeter, Ultima stood in front of him and kicked his spear with her feet, it made the weapon fly in the sky, out of reach. Confused by what just happened, Regan didn't find a single moment of répis as Ultima strangled his neck, menacing to use her long and sharp nails to pierce through his skin, but Akira told her to stop and she cut the killing part.

Regan tried to free himself from Ultima's grip but the power of that petite demon surpassed the brute force of the Highest God of War by a trillion fold. "Let— Let go of me!" Regan pleaded as he tries to get away. "Nuh uh." Ultima replied.

"Well anyway, i'm taking this girl with me whether you like it or not, hahaha~" Akira laughed.

"Also, I realized something, I was way too generous giving you all a whole week to prepare for my calamity." Akira points his hand to the sky and a huge clock counting down the event appears.

"So we're rounding up those two days to only a few hours! Hahahaha!" He laughed.

This sudden change in time made the immense clock's ticks accelerate rapidly, the wind blew at an abnormally high speed and the sky darkened because of the change in pressure. The loud bell sound as each hour passed pierced through the eardrums of every. single. living creature.

Everyone was focused on surviving this natural catastrophe that they didn't care about Irene's new abduction. They just fled meanwhile Akira was laughing and flying to the sky with Yatan and Ultima while holding Irene.

The blonde haired princess watched as the clock's ticks adjusted to the new time skip. Horror filled her very being as the dreadful realization strike her mind, and every bell noise made her just wanna jump from the abductor's grip. Her father was right, at least that's what she was thinking in the heat of the moment, Akira is truly going to destroy this world and no word or sentence can change his mind.

'F—Father... Please help me I'm scared..." Irene cried.

Later, Akira and his fellow group which consisted of a sadist demoness, a god of destruction, and a hostage, returned back to their hideout in the dragon nest.

In the palace, Irene was placed in the throne room, secured from any invasion with many dragons surrounding her and protecting her, order from the King. Meanwhile Akira was just sitting on the throne and waiting for the time to pass so he can start his attack. Irene approached Akira and tried to start a conversation with him, desperately trying to make him change his mind.

'Is she continues to pleas like this, it's probable that she'll evolve to a saint who's instructed with defeating me. Rebecca will surely try to evolve someone to a hero to try and stop me... My, I wonder whom that could be.' Akira said in his mind.

Then, a little girl approached Akira and Irene, both their attention shifted to the little girl. A cute scarlet haired child with beautiful green eyes and viper pupils, she was dressed like royalty and was holding a teddy bear. She looked mostly at Akira but sometimes picked some glances on Irene.

"Who might this little girl be?... She's diabolically dute~." Irene said, charmed by the little girl, "Oooh~ and look at her teddy bear~! Who gave you such a sweet present little princess~?" Irene asked, seduced by this cutsey girl.

"It was dad." She said bluntly, pointing at Akira whom was resting nonchalantly on the throne, starting to sleep.

"Heh?" Irene mumbled.

"Oh come one she's smart enough to know I'm not her biological father, in addition, it's me who killed him." Akira said. "I gave her the teddy bear to stimulate her mind into accepting me as a member of family, because convincing the adults was the easy part unlike the youth." Akira added.

Irene didn't dare questioning Nox's decisions. She guessed it was all just some godly act or perhaps culture that transcended her poor human mind.

X―x―X—x—Meanwhile...—x—X―x―X

While Akira was having his fin waiting for the event to start, a last minute challenger was about to imbark into the sailing ship with the rest of the crew. In the S.A. Group's headquarters, the chairman Lee, with the help of his loyal and genius colleagues, he managed to fully optimize Morpheus.

The latter was programmed specially to fight against Akira and ultimately win. An indestructible code which repeats the sequence 'win against Nox' more than a trillion times, incarved into the robot's hardware.

Morpheus was now in his anti-virus mode and it prepared to fight off the biggest threat it every faced off but this time with unlimited power and ressources by his side. Will Nox be able to counter the attack or will her succomb to Morpheus' overwhelming power.

It's all gonna go nuts in a few hours.
