A week and a half quickly passed by as the crew trained. Sera and Wukong often sparred during their training as Wukong wanted more experience fighting against strong opponents as after he had become the monkey king he no longer had an opponent who could face him. Vlad and Daz also sparred against one another using nothing but their swords trying to gain more understanding of how to use their blades. Robin used the time to explore the island and develop more ways to use her devil fruit powers.

Paul waited by the ship as the crew slowly made their way back.

Paul saw them returning as he smiled, " Are you guys ready? It's gonna be one hell of a battle. Haha."

Sera: " Well... we did as much as we can."

Paul chuckled as he said, " Well, we can always run when we want to. Their main focus should be on Whitebeard. Let's set out."

The crew set out immediately heading to one of the Navy's main headquarters: Marineford. Since Paul's training, he has gotten better and better handling the elements and no longer need to sail on the open water. He lifted the ship up using his wind power and started flying at a rapid pace.

Sera felt the wind brush against her face and said, " This is nice. Paul do you know the way to Marineford?"

Paul: " Yes, it should be located near Sabaody Archipelago and by Mary Geoise by the Red Line."

The crew flew as the days passed as they began to prepare their mentality as they would be facing against the strongest forces that would appear from the navy at this time. This time not only would they be up against three admirals but against elite navy soldiers and vice-admirals.

The final day as come as Paul and the others were high above Marineford. Paul moved and formulated thick clouds for their ship to hide and dock on.

Paul: " Now let's just wait for the main show to begin."

Looking down, the crew saw thousands of elite navy soldiers standing in front of a platform. There they saw the three admirals sitting on a chair directly in front of the platform. Standing on the platform was Vice-admiral Garp as well as fleet-admiral Sengoku. Next, Ace walked out of the Marineford building in chains. There they saw Ace being kneeled down and chained to the platform. There was also the few Shichibukai's that were participating in the war, Gecko Moria, Boa Hancock, Bartholomew Kuma, and Dracula Mihawk.

Sera: " Paul, can't we just use a sneak attack and rescue Ace quickly?"

Paul: " Well we could. If we go all out, we can surprise them and quickly grab ace and go, but then we will have to face the full force of them soon after."

Sera: " Well... it was just a thought after all haha."

Sengoku: " Portgas D. Ace. That was the name of your mother who died giving birth to you. State your father's name."

Ace: " Whitebeard."

Sengoku: " Wrong. Three and a half years since the death of that heinous pirate. There have been sightings that he was on an island for an extended period of time acting not like a pirate but that of a father. After his death, we searched all over for signs of new born and pregnant children looking for that man's child. But your mother possess magical abilities that even fooled us and Cipher Pol. Your father is none other than Gol D. Roger!!"

Crowd: " His... His bloodline still exists..."

Sengoku: " It wasn't until you set out to see and when you showed your strength and growth that we realized the very fact that his bloodline still flowed. But Whitebeard also noticed that at the same time. And to make you the next King of the Pirates, he let the son of his old rival onto his ship."

Ace: " No!! I got on the ship to make my dad the next King!!"

Sengoku: " No one believes that except you. In fact, it made it harder for us to catch you. You were protected by Whitebeard. If we let you go free, we know you'll use your abilities to become the next King. That's why it means a great deal to execute you here today. Even if it means risking an all-out war with Whitebeard!!"

The Navy began to roar as they heard the statement.

Elite Soldier: " Fleet admiral Sengoku! I have a report! The gate of justice is opening without any order. And we can't make contact with the control room!"

Sengoku: " What?!"

Silence began to envelope the area. By just this news, tension began to rise as it meant that Whitebeard was coming.

Sera: " Pirate King's son? Woah Ace had such a background. Paul did you already know that?"

Paul: " Hahaha maybe, maybe not." He looked towards the water, " I have a feeling that Whitebeard is underwater."

Sera: " What, how can you know even that?!"

Several of pirate ships began to emerge from the distance.

navy grunt: " There they come!! Everyone, battle stations!!"

Sengoku: " They appeared so suddenly! Where did they get in?"

Navy grunt: " Where's Whitebeard? Look for him!"

The navy grunt began naming several big name pirates under Whitebeard as they tried to find Whitebeard and his commanders.

Ace: " I didn't expect for them to come."

Not long after water began to make way as a giant ship shaped like a whale began to emerge, long and behold Whitebeard and his commanders were seen on the ship.

Right in front of the navy's battalion Whitebeard's ship along with three other ships began to emerge from the water. It was all of the commanders and pirates under Whitebeard.

Whitebeard walked and stood at the forefront of his ship with his giant halberd, " Lalalalala. It's been awhile, Sengoku."

Sengoku: " Whitebeard. You better tell me that my beloved son... is all right."

Whitebeard's presence alone cause the mass elite navy soldiers to be stunned in awe.

Sengoku: " I can't believe that we let them get this close!"

Whitebeard: " Lalalala. Give me a second Ace."

Ace trying his best to hold out, " Pops!!"

Whitebeard placed his halberd onto the ship as he tucked in his arms preparing for an attack. Strong wind begins to flap around Whitebeard's cape as the navy waited for what Whitebeard was about to do. " Tcha" Whitebeard punched both fists to the side as cracks began to appear in the air. Soon after the waves in the water began to surge and move uncontrollably.

Sengoku: " A seaquake! He's distorting the sea!"

Ace: " Pops. Everybody. I ignored your advice and took off! Why didn't you just give up on me?! I'm the one who caused all of this!"

Whitebeard: " No. I'm the one who told you to go. Son."

Ace's eyes trembled as he screamed out in response, " That's a lie! Cut it out! You told me not go but I..."

Whitebeard interrupted, " I'm the one who told you to go. I'm the one who told you to go. Isn't that right, Marco?"

Marco: " Yeah. That's what I heard. I'm sorry that we put you through so much, Ace. Everybody in this world knows. What will happen to someone who messes with our crewmate!"

Whitebeard grunt: " We won't let anybody who hurts you get away with it, Ace! Count on us, we will save you."

Aokiji: " We brought this upon ourselves."

Akainu: " It's too late to say such a thing."

Kizaru: " That's so hideous~."

Gecko moria: " Shesheshe. On this side, we, the warlords, the navy's greatest powers- 3 admirals and a hundred thousand elite soldiers! On that side, there are the Whitebeard Pirates and more than 40 allied ships! Now, how do you wanna do it, Whitebeard?!"

At this time the sea began to accumulate and emerge from Whitebeard's first attack. The water level began to rise and rise again. From the distance large tsunamis began to finally emerge and had finally begun to rise high above Marineford.

Garp: " It's finally here. From the seaquake attack that Whitebeard caused, coming in the form of tsunami!"

Waves violently clashed against the base.

Garp: " The tremor-tremor fruit that made him a quake man! Edward Newgate aka Whitebeard!!!"

Sengoku: " Don't think that our superior forces will guarantee us victory. We could very well fail. Because that man has the power to destroy the world!!"

Just as the large tsunamis located on both sides of Marineford was about to swallow the island, Aokiji leaped up high into the sky as streams of ice began to flow from his hand. " Ice Age!!" As soon as the ice stream touched the water, it began to freeze as it the tsunami stopped in its track and also froze the water that held the ships.

Paul smiled as he said, " The war has finally begun."

Vlad saw the enormous power that Whitebeard had. Just a casual strike from Whitebeard and he was able to create a Tsunami that could engulf the Navy base. " Oi Oi Oi. Captain do you still believe that he needs help. I think we can just relax up here and Whitebeard and his pirates would be able to handle it."

Paul laughed as he heard Vlad talking, " Well he is indeed strong and is considered the strongest man alive. But he is quite old now don't you think so?"

Vlad: " That's true, but that old man is still considered the strongest. To think that my father was able to match that kind of power when they were at their peak. Seems like I still have a lot to go."
