13: Glass Melting (2)

Nicolas and Perenelle watched as both Marius and Azes disappeared in a burst of flames, seconds later Azekel reappeared and looked at them, screeching. It was like she was saying: "Let's go." Perenelle and Nicolas smiled and holding hands they touched Azekel's tail feathers, teleporting away in a burst of flames. Azes asked Azekel to keep an eye out for Nicolas and Perenelle, and if they are hurt to cry on their wounds. Not only her strength is amplified, but her healing capabilities are also increased by the [Primordial Phoenix] bloodline. Azekel would keep both Nicolas and Perenelle secure as she promised to Azes.

The burst of flames appeared on the interior of the main base, on the roof to be precise. Both Nicolas and Perenelle landed easily on their feet, Azekel landed on Nicolas' shoulder and stayed there, looking around and trying to detect danger. After they landed, Perenelle used her wand, a silver looking wand, to create a hole on the wards on the house. This hole on the wards was bug enough for them to pass but small enough for it to be noticed, she also temporarily deactivated the Alarm Ward. Nicolas then followed her lead and touched the roof, which simply turned to dust, dropping them down. Perenelle and Nicolas landed on the inside of the mansion, and like a rewind button had been pressed, the dust flowed back and once again became a part of the roof.

Nicolas and Perenelle nodded and walked forward. Perenelle reactivated the Alarm Ward but modified it to make recognize the four of them and not activate. She was good at Wards, Healing, and Combat. Nicolas smiled a little bit seeing his wife work on an advanced ward like it was nothing, he continued to go with her lead and touched the ground with his hands, making it vibrate... "There's two ahead. Four downstairs, six in a corridor, seven in the yard, ten in the kitchen, and two in the bathroom. Azes and Marius are already in the basement... There are other four in a room, they are talking." Nicolas slowly said Perenelle smiled. What Nicolas just did was an original spell that Azes invented, it was called [Vibration Radar] and it could detect things by vibrating magic on the ground. "They are rescuing Marius' family, we should start now." Perenelle nodded and both of them rushed forward, their target was the two wizards ahead of them."

Casting a powerful Notice-me-Not Charm, Nicolas and Perenelle dashed forward. They then finally saw their targets, two men. They were wearing dark clothes and both of them had good over their heads, Nicolas could only remember one thing that his son said about people who use black clothes: 'They are emos?' Perenelle seemed to have the same thought... With a sigh, both of them approached the two men and with swift action, touched their bodies and activated a Paralyzing spell, this spell had a low range because it was a modified spell of the Full Body Paralyzing Curse that Nicolas modified with Azes' help, this Paralyzing Curse was meant to temporarily stop the brain and paralyzing the body. After doing that, Nicolas and Perenelle took their wands and breaking it, they continued forward.

Perenelle and Nicolas defeated the four downstairs, moving to the two in the bathroom, the people in the kitchen separated, two went outside towards the yard and one went upstairs... Nicolas and Perenelle stealthy incapacitated the one who went upstairs and Perenelle locked those who were outside with a Ward, this Ward was the Barrier Ward that created a barrier that stopped people from entering somewhere. With nine less to keep an eye out for, Nicolas moved for those who were still in the kitchen, and with Perenelle's help, they defeated, incapacitated, and broke their wands. They then decided to move up, to the four in the separate room. They were too efficient, Nicolas and Perenelle only took four minutes to incapacitate and stop 18 people, counting those who were outside that couldn't enter.

They had an idea about what they would so with those who were outside... They would let Marius take care of them with Azes' help. They had to admit that Azes was a genius of a wizard, he was powerful, kind, and the best son they could ask for. So they trusted him enough to let him go fight with wizards beside Marius. Perenelle sighed and whispered, in a low tone: "Expecto Patronum." A light blue liquid-like energy left her wand and started to take shape, there, the spectrum of a horse with wings appeared. Perenelle whispered to the horse: "Take care of the ones outside. Be careful." After she whispered, the horse flapped its wings and rushed out, diving through the floor. Nicolas nodded at Perenelle and Perenelle gave her hand to him, Azekel that was in Nicolas' shoulder vanished with them in a burst of flame, teleporting them to the hallway where the four people were in the room separated from others.

Nicolas and Perenelle nodded and at the same time used the Bombarda Maxima Spell to destroy the door with an explosion after the Bombarda Maxima Spell hit the door, both started to use the Full Body Paralyzing Curse followed by the Pain "Unforgivable" Curse and the Tickle Charm. This combo was focused on causing the enemy to have no way of reacting or even doing something against the wizard who cast this spell combo. The body will be paralyzed while feeling the itchiness of the Tickling Charm and the pain of the Cruciatus Curse. Fully incapacitating the target, the only thing the target can do is breathe. When the dust settled down, both Perenelle and Nicolas were a little nervous, but Nicolas acted first Transfigurating the wooden planks in the ground, transforming them into Lions, that be sent to the room.

A powerful wave of magical energy was released, destroying the lions. Nicolas and Perenelle both knew that it wasn't going to be so simple, so they started to test the people inside the room, Transfigurating the walls and floor into several beetles, commanding them to invade the room and attack the ones inside. Explosions echoed, coming from outside, both Nicolas and Perenelle knew that it was Azes and Marius fighting and possibly killing the wizards or witches outside. Nicolas and Perenelle sighed, had incapacitated those who they fought against, they planned to erase their memories, but it seems like killing would be easier to do. Sure, both Nicolas and Perenelle had killed people before, they also knew how it feels to lose someone they love. But if it's an enemy, they should kill. They knew that they should kill everyone, but they couldn't. Nicolas then had an idea. He took Perenelle's hand and tapped on Azekel's feathers three times, this was the signal to teleport them outside in the yard.

He childishly explained to Perenelle what he wanted to do, she sighed. "Fine. But it is us that killed them, technically." Nicolas chuckled and Perenelle smiled. Pointing their wands towards the house, both said: "Fiendfire."
