Chapter 58: The Vampire Has Come To The Capital

<Angel's POV>

Before heading to the bath to freshen up, I ask for my lunch to be prepared. Lunch time has already passed and the chefs are probably already on to preparing dinner so I do not ask for anything grand or overly specific.

After freshening up, I don myself in a casual sky blue dress and a pair of g white glass slippers. I pack my hair into a ponytail after combing it.

I briefly check in my mom before I head for the dining hall of the palace (every palace has one except the Royal and Queen palaces that each have two).

As I arrive a about fifteen feet to the dining hall, I notice that the doors are left ajar. A brunette maid with green eyes slots me and dashes over, bowing to me repeatedly.

"Please do not be offended, My Lady!" She pleads. "We informed Lord Dark that the meal was prepared for you, yet he insisted on partaking. We couldn't disobey him so we have added more food. Please show mercy!"
