95. Why am I crying?
After a few minutes, Angela was finally able to get close to the bed where Edgar lay weakly. Angela could see up close how pathetic Edgar was. The man who was used to being in good shape and healthy now had to give up in a very sad situation. Angela took a shaky breath and covered her mouth.
However, Edgar suddenly opened his eyes slowly. Angela stared at him in disbelief. The woman immediately pressed the red button beside Edgar's bed as a sign to call any medical officer who was at the guard post. Not long after, a female nurse arrived.
"What is it, madam? Can I help you?" The nurse asked.
"I saw his eyes open slightly and here his fingers move a little," Angela replied while showing Edgar's finger who was now silent. The nurse also checked the IV fluid and said to go out for a while to call the doctor.
Not long after, a male doctor came and examined Edgar's eyes using a small flashlight as well as checking his pulse and heart rate.
