Far away in the forest of the wizards, in the enchanted city. Kina's eyes were transfixed on the blue black sky, the stars spread across it and the full moon shone upon the earth's surface.

It was a beautiful night and kina decided to lay down on the terrace after dinner, the wind gentle kissed her pale skin. As she enjoyed the pleasure that nature offered to her, she thought. How cruel and exciting life could be at the same time. Sometimes kina could just wake up in the morning and be happy for absolutely no reason but some unfortunate events always appear out of no where. Her eyes teared up as she remembered the unfortunate day her father was killed by the wretched wolves. He only went for a hunt only to be attacked and killed, the bad news had broken her mother to the peak. Omaya could barely recover from the shock and the whole city was shaken by it. Moreover, she overhead her mother speaking with the commander the other day, it seemed like another war had been planned. Kina internally prepared herself for it, although she knew that her mother would not approve of her fighting. It had always been like that for ages, but this time, kina wasn't planning on staying behind. She had been trained by the commander and her fighting skills were excellent, she could do what the men could do or even better.

A knock sounded on kina's door for the third time that night. Kina stood up from the ground and went to get the door. It revealed her maid and kina arched and eyebrow in question.

"Do I need to eat vegetables again?" Kina asked.

Nerwen, kina's maid laughed.

"Oh no, your Highness!" She exclaimed.

"Lover boy is here with his parents." Nerwen added.

"Lover boy?" Kina said, a little puzzled. She had many suitors, two or three of them visit each day to ask for her hand in marriage but kina never took a liking towards any of them. In fact, she had never felt any romantic feelings for anyone.

Kina pouted in annoyance. "Another one?"

"Yes, and her Majesty really seemed to like this one." Nerwen said.

"Oh no." Kina exclaimed.

"I'll get you ready to meet them." Nerwen said and pushed through the wooden door.

In a while, kina had been dressed into a dark blue satin dress with golden laces at the edges. Her red hair was decorated with a few red beads.

Kina left her room and proceeded to her mothers chamber hurriedly, she couldn't wait to say no.

As usual, despite the good looks and charms, kina didn't seem to like her suitor. Both himself and his parents left the palace in disappointment. Omaya looked at her daughter furiously after seeing the guests out.

"May I know what is wrong with your head girl?" Omaya asked her daughter, her voice coming out harsher than she had intended.

Kina looked at her frustrated mother in shock, never had omaya ever scolded her daughter for rejecting a marriage proposal.

"Mother, I just do not like him. I don't think my soulmate is here. And even if he is, I am still yet to meet him." Kina replied anxiously.

"Why are you even getting impatient mother, I'm still so young." Kina added.

Omaya then went closer to kina and sat on the same bench kina was sitting on beside her. Her furious expression turned to a worried one. Omaya glanced at her daughter who almost had tears in her eyes.

"Forgive my rudeness child, I didn't mean to hurt you. But I also got married at your age, I was only twenty five. It has always been like that in our dynasty."

"I will get married mother, but I have not found the right man just yet. Something tells me he's out there, searching for me. Every time I sleep, I see his blue eyes. They are constantly haunting me and I cannot betray them."

"Merry has blue eyes, but you rejected him." Omaya said.

"Oh mother, believe me. It can never be merry, we don't match. He's not even a man." Kina said between laughter and placed her head on her mother's shoulder.

"A want a tall, dark and handsome man mother. Hardworking, strong but gentle, kind and passionate. And of course with blue eyes." Kina said and laughed, omaya laughed along with her daughter.

"Mother?" Kina called out to her mother.

"Yes, my child." Omaya responded.

"I wish to go with the soldiers on the next patrol." Kina said, making omaya frown.

And what is the reason for that?" Omaya couldn't help but snap. The last time she went with them, she almost killed a human with her powers.

"I won't hurt anyone, I swear mother. It was a mistake, I mistook the poor man for a werewolf." Kina added.

"Fine, I'll send for the commander. I think they'll be staying in the woods for a few days. That should not be a problem for a mighty witch as yourself." Omaya praised her daughter. Kina had killed the great serpent dragon. Since then, omaya had never been afraid of letting kina approach the danger, omaya believed that the princess could take care of herself.

Kina's cheeks turned to a dark shade of pink when her mother praised her, omaya could not stop talking about it.

"Mother, don't embarrass me." Kina said shyly.

"I hope you bring home your soulmate. But use your powers wisely, you don't want to scare him off. He may think you are a black witch." Omaya made clear to her daughter. Kina nodded rapidly with a smile.

"I will not, mother. I will behave." Kina assured
