Jylan pretty much wasted away for the next few weeks.
All he did was stay indoors and do paperwork, for some reason refusing to close the window even though it only got colder with the passing days. Somehow he felt like it was the only thing that connected him to Sebastian - and there he sat, doing paperwork to escape from all his insecurities. Because of course, he had lost the prince again.
And this was all thanks to me, the author!
Hey, I need my money.
Anyway. Jylan stayed at his desk for a few weeks.
Jylan sighed and continued to look out the window. But he didn't look long, because, two seconds later, the door was slammed open.
Sebastian-
Jylan spun around, and said, "I left the window open for you-"
It was Lei, her hair wild and sticking out in all different directions, her dress stained with mud and more than a few twigs also in her wild hair, and gasping for breath.
Jylan's face instantly fell. "Oh, it's you."
Lei rolled her eyes. "Don't act so disappointed."
Jylan sighed and sat back down. Lei held up a fist.
"I know where Sebastian is!"
Jylan raised an eyebrow, then got up, grabbed his coat off the hook, and stormed down the hallway.
"That's the wrong way!" Lei yelled.
