The next week, Sebastian, Lei, and Jylan were all sitting in a carriage together, and Lei was, as usual, talking busily with Jylan while Sebastian, who was resting his head against the windowsill, listened and sometimes made remarks of his own. They were, like before, wearing alternating suits - Jylan's was white, and Sebastian's charcoal black.

"Ah, But where's Chris?" Sebastian asked, and Lei sighed. "He couldn't make it apparently, he had to deal with something." Sebastian raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything more. Lei, who knew that look all too well, scowled and said, "Sebas, don't." Sebastian rolled his eyes and still didn't say anything, which eventually led to Lei grabbing his ears and shaking his head until he apologized, while Jyaln tried to stop the chaos.

Finally, Lei pouted on the opposite seat while Sebastian rubbed his ears, and Jyaln sighed in relief. "Ah, and why are you guys here? Both of you aren't rulers." Lei said, and Sebastian glanced at Jyan, who met his gaze. "Ah, we're going to try and stop the slave trade in the Bringer kingdom," Jylan said, adjusting his tie, and Lei blinked. Then she smiled, and then she took two daggers out of her dress, much to the surprise of both the duke and the butler, and handed it to them.

"Lei. We're not killing anyone." Sebastian said firmly, and Lei pouted again. "Not even a single person, even if they deserve it, Sebas?" Sebastian shook his head and handed her back the dagger. Lei shrugged, but Jylan took the dagger, which made Lei smile and pat his head. Sebastian sighed, and the dagger he had given back to her disappeared into her dress once again.

Finally, the rolling canter of the carriage hitched to a stop, and Lei grinned, stepped out, and waved to them, her dress blowing in the wind.

"Good luck, darlings~!"
