When Jylan and Sebastian tiptoed through the kitchen, a night breeze banged against one of the windows. Sebastian, who thought it was a person, dove behind one of the counters.
"You can come out, my prince. It was the wind." Jylan said, amused but still trying to keep a straight face.
"You! You stupid butler-" Sebastian cursed, "- can never do anything right! You should have told me it was the wind!" He snarled, and Jylan grinned.
"But it was so fun to see you dive behind that counter like your life depended on it. And your foot was still sticking out, by the way." The butler now smiled a lopsided grin, and the prince continued to curse vigorously.
"Perhaps you should look into controlling your anger." Jylan observed, and Sebastian continued.
"Okay, okay, fine! I give up, my prince! Just, look, this is what we came here for!" Jylan said, reaching out two hands to grab a large cardboard package and shove it under one shoulder.
"what's that?" Sebastian asked, and Jylan winked. "You'll see."
Now, all the prince's curses died out in his throat.
