Intense discussion
From MC's Perspective:
The following day dawned like any other, with the faint light of morning filtering through the curtains of my room. After getting ready, I left the comfort of my quarters, intending to head straight to the essence chamber to continue my training.
But just as I was about to step out, my comm device buzzed, interrupting my thoughts. I glanced at the screen, and my breath caught for a moment when I saw the name displayed.
"Teacher is back," I murmured, recognizing the name instantly. Lowell, my mentor, had been away on an important mission, and his sudden return was unexpected. Without hesitation, I accepted the call.
"Zack, I'm back. I'm on the way to HQ right now," came Lowell's voice, sharp and serious. There was an edge to his tone that I hadn't heard in a while.
