Moving out

"By recording, you mean...?" Flora turned to Ban as she asked with a frown.

"Cameras. Sound recording should be included." Ban nodded in confirmation which shocked all the ladies in the living room.

The thought of someone observing your every moves without even knowing who it was scared them the most. Even brought a chill down to their spine.

"These camera devices was requested by Mr. Hexar." Alice bowed her head. She continued, "These devices are recently installed." She the took her phone and showed the message on her phone a 10 days ago.

The message was told that a subordinate of Hexar will send a package of devices and will be installed to the house of Flora in secret. The message also mentioned that due to Hexar being busy with the family business, he wouldn't be able to check on Flora from time to time. That is why he wanted to make a stream on her house daily for him to be at peace that nothing will happen to her.

While Alice was doubtful at first, the message came from the personal phone number of Hexar. With that, she could only obey the commands without fail.

"That's rare for my husband to care about me and my daughter. After all, he only visited my house at least once a year. He didn't even gave me a call about the matter of these cameras." Flora pursed her lips. She continued, "What's more is that he would only call me if something important is happening that needed my help and his call would only happen at least 3 times a year." She let out a sad expression as she sighed.

Ban squinted his eyes at Alice and asked, "Did you tried to confirm it through a phone call?"

Alice shook her head, "Mr Hexar is a very busy person. In fact, too busy that he neglected his wife and daughter."

"How long have you been serving my mother?"

"I've been the personal guard of Mr Hexar since he was a child. After him being married to madam, Mr Hexar decided for me to shift my duty to protect the madam." Alice explained everyhting.

Ban pondered for a while. He knew that something was wrong about his father and the devices in his mother's house.

'What did I miss? I need to investigate these devices as soon as possible.'

"Did you recognized the man who delivered the package?" He asked Alice again.

"I don't know him, but I memorized his face." Alice shook her head and continued, "As far as I know, Mr Hexar only has one trusted subordinate and will never leave his side no matter what happens."

"All right." Ban then stood up and turned to his mother. "We will move you to a temporary room until I verify if this matter was indeed true."

"Where shall I move, son?" Flora asked. Things happened so fast that she didn't know where to start. She still have many questions to ask to her son, but judging at the situation, she had no choice but to comply. After all, a strange feeling welled-up inside her that she would be safe as long as she was with her son.

"This mansion is an empty shell. I don't see anyone important other than mother and little sister. I'm a little bit curious about it, but let's discuss that matter later. For now, my priority is your safety." Ban paused as he continued, "I already booked a hotel room. We'll be staying there for now. I don't want to risk anything and let you two stay here all by yourselves."

"Why? Isn't it good in here? You can live here with us, son." Flora said.

Ban shook his head and smiled gently, "I can't, mother. I already have a home in Angeles City. Also..." He squinted his eyes as he glanced at the ladies who immediately understood his intention.

Flora followed Ban's gaze and saw the four ladies with faces flushed red. She covered her mouth in surprise which made the ladies blushed even more.

"Ahem!* Anyways, let's move now. I don't feel at ease staying this house with full of cameras." Ban coughed and evaded to be in a tight spot with the intense stare of his mother.

While immediately escaped the room, the ladies remained as they waited for Flora to go out first.

Flora examined Elena, Eliza and Tina one by one with her hawk sharp eyes.

The ladies' palm sweated as they nervously glanced at Flora.

"Wide hips, nice body shape. Good for..." Flora muttered in a low voice as she nodded from time to time.

"Say, who's my son's lover?" Flora asked the trio.

Elena and Eliza nervously raised their hands. Tina remained in position as she only bowed in silence.

Flora covered her mouth in surprise. She exclaimed, "You two are sisters, right? Twins maybe?"

"N-No, aunty. I'm the youngest while she's my elder sister." Eliza pointed at Elena who nodded.

"Oh." Flora nodded. She then turned her attention to Tina, "Are you a lover of my son too?"

Now that Flora remembered, Ban is still young. However, she wasn't against it since she started dating her husband around Ban's age back in the days.

'But it would be better if he started dating women with the right age.' Flora thought to herself.

Tina became flustered as she didn't know how to reply.

"Mother, let's go!"

Ban voice from outside interrupted the conversation of the ladies. He knew his mother was trying to scrutinize the ladies, but he wouldn't let that happen under his watch.

"Coming!" Flora replied as she stood up. She turned to the ladies and smiled, "Let's go."

"Y-Yes."

The ladies immediately followed Flora outside.

Fortunately, Ban's car can accommodate up to ten people. He knew john was being considerate on lending him a convenient car.

The caged van was still in place and many people already surrounded the area to know what was going on.

Ban sensed that the men inside the van were tended by the medics through a small passage even though the bars wouldn't budge. He knew the Terra Prison skill is slowly wearing off it's effect and will soon be demolished, but he wouldn't care about it. He will find a nice chance to get rid of those men in the van in the future to avoid more troubles.

Even Flora, Alice and Lucy couldn't help but tilt their heads as well. They were curious what's happening at the front of their mansion.

Ban didn't want his mother to linger in the area anymore as he escorted them to the car.

On the way to the hotel...

Tina volunteered to be the driver so Ban have the time to have a chat with his mother.

"When will you go back to Angeles City? Can't we just stay here in the Capital together with Lucy?" Flora asked in a worried tone.

Ban mused for a while before shaking his head. He already grown accustomed on living in his City. Living in the Capital is good too, but his loved ones will be facing dangers from all sides since he has some enemies on himself that he can't get rid of at the moment due to him being busy.

"How about this, mother." Ban cleared his throat and continued, "You will live with me in Angeles City and I will also purchase a house here in Capital in case we need a home to stay if we have a chance to visit here again."

"You want me to move to Angeles City?" Flora brightened up her eyes. Living together with her son is a good choice for here no matter where the place. However, thinking about her husband, she began to hesitate.

Ban noticed his mother's change of mood. He knew she considered his suggestion, but hesitated. He probably guessed she was thinking about his father.

Ban already had a bad impression on his father after he found out that he's neglecting his mother and little sister so he didn't care about him anymore.

"Don't worry, mother. I won't leave by your side. I will also protect my little sister." Ban then turned to Lucy and patted her head gently.

Flora nodded after a few words of persuasion from Ban.

Ban knew that his mother loved on tending plants and flowers and his mansion in Angeles City has a garden. If he want, he can buy the house beside his mansion and demolish it while turning it into a garden for his mother.

"Right. How come you are so rich?" After Flora regained her composure, she noticed that her son had so much money. Buying a house in the Capital can cost at least 10 million dollars for simple ones.

Ban chuckled and replied, "I have business partners. Tina is one of them."

Tina was startled when her name was mentioned was Ban. Her eyes shined a little before returning to normal. Her ears perked up as she tried to listen at their conversation.

"Oh? You've became a businessman already?" Flora asked in surprise. His son is a businessman that can even buy a house in the Capital at such a young age.

"Yes." Ban nodded in confirmation.

"It's great that you can earn money on your own, son. However, you shouldn't neglect your studies." Flora said in a serious tone. She asked, "Which grade are you in right now?"

"I will be senior high this year."

Flora nodded in satisfaction, "It's alright to be late than skipping the class. Keep it up, son."

Elena twitched her lips, 'They're indeed mother and son.'
