10 Divine Pills Sect[6]

A whistling sound tore through the air, for the sword that was the symbol of the entire Divine Pills Sect screeched in excitement as it flew towards Khan's outstretched hand.

"Just who... are you...?" The old man spoke in a hoarse voice, his tone enunciated, and clear. However, his widened eyes filled with horror destroyed his noble figure. The flames enveloping him scattered as his connection to the Divine Sword disappeared.

The sword hummed in enjoyment, Khan's eyes gleamed with the same melancholy that he had. He looked at the sword and stroked it as if it was his lover.

"Return that sword!" The old man shouted, his eyes fierce to the extent that if looks could kill. Khan would have died a thousand times already.

The old man's roar returned Khan from his dreamland, he turned towards the old man, gave a small smile and said.

"Return? Okay, catch it." Khan threw the Divine Sword towards the old man, he didn't bother with him anymore as he turned towards the already unconscious family.

The two wasn't able to endure the slaughter aura that the Asura released causing them to faint due to shock.

"Why can you call this sword? Just who are you?" The old man who experienced all kinds of problems in life couldn't help but ask, his tone contained deep caution towards the unknown.

Khan's attention went to the old man. He gave a sigh before speaking.

"I am someone that is deeply connected to your sect." Khan could only give this much information.

"Deeply connected to the sect? If that is true, then why did you attack us?!" The old man's eyes flashed with indignance as he shouted.

"Attack? I was just helping you guys clean up your sect!" Khan retorted.

"Clean up? You scattered their sea of memories! That was tantamount to giving them a death sentence! You- why didn't you give them mercy?!" The old man's face flushed deep red in anger and irritation.

Khan didn't even batter an eyelid as he replied.

"Mercy? Why should I give it to those trashes?" Khan's tone became cold.

"I understand, I understand what you mean, but those Elders... those Elders are the lifeblood of the entire sect! Do you even know how hard it is to foster someone of their level?!" The old man fell down on his knee. The shock of having the Divine Sword controlled by a stranger and his inability to avenge the Elders who died made him lose his courage to fight.

Khan's eyebrows frowned. 'Why is his mind so fragile? It looks like he hasn't experienced that much even with his cultivation?'

'There could only be one reason.' Khan thought back to the memories that he had when he first came to the Divine Pills Sect. The complacent, and arrogance that the Elders had, and the memories that he received from that man.

'It's no use, everything is too jumbled. I need to arrange these memories soon.' Khan could only sigh as he rubbed his temple, soothing his troubled mind.

"Stand up! What are you kneeling there for? You should not grieve those pieces of trashes who only bully the weak, but fears the strong!" As he turned towards the old man. Khan couldn't help but scold him. 'Just what the hell happened to the world?!'

The image of a valiant and brave Sect Master that Khan imagined from the old man quickly crumbled. Sensing the troubles that would come from this. Khan facepalmed.

The old man's figure shuddered, his eyes flashed, and in an instant. It became as clear as water. Khan's eyebrows lifted, his gaze became full of interest as he observed the old man.

The old man clutched the Divine Sword, his knees slightly bent.

"Eh? You still want to fight?" Khan spoke, his tone enunciated. His knees bending, albeit with a creaking sound.

Gritting his teeth and enduring the pain. Khan's hand readied a mudra. If this old man was to attack, he would instantly cancel the force by coercing the Divine Sword.

"I want a proof! If you're surely connected to the sect, and one that is able to control the Divine Sword at that. You should have this!" The old man reached within his chest pocket.

He opened his palm and a small token order was there. The token looked ancient, but the words engraved within it looked alive and fierce as it displayed the name of the Divine Pills Sect.

Below the words was a yin-yang image of a phoenix and a dragon surrounded by numerous incandescent talismans. Seeing this, Khan gave a small, sad smile.

He focused his consciousness and traced his spatial ring. There, he searched. And amidst the huge amount of broken, archaic objects. He found a twinkling token.

The token stood out like a jade among the rocks. Although everything around it was tainted with the jaws of time. It still looked as vigorous as ever, as it emanated the aura of a Divine Emperor.

The token that was on the palm of the old man paled in comparison to the token that Khan had. Giving a small sigh, Khan pulled out the token, opened his palm and showed it to the old man.

The old man stared in disbelief at the token on Khan's palm. He had read about it in the sect's records that only Sect Masters could read.

Other than the token on his hand. There was another token that was higher than the Sect Master's token, and that was the token that Khan showed him.

It was none other than the Ancestral Grand Order!

The old man's knees quickly slammed down the earth, his forehead struck the earth, his imposing might withdrawn as he kowtowed and shouted.

"Greetings, Ancestor!"
