Mammon Greed [Kolme]

"The Citadel's concealment formation has been sabotaged! The perpetrator is hiding within our ranks, 127 seconds since the clogging with the agent whereabout estimated 200 meters within the core chamber. 27 personnel were neutralized, the Assailant has taken action by enmassing their entire available operators!"

"What about the damage?"

"There is an underground crack on the intersection of the Engineering and Assailant pathway to the core into the floor B7 of Assailants. Underground protective layers have been deployed, the Assailants are taking care of the infiltrating Calamities that come from the underground!"

Another operator reporting, "Emergency! A wave of Calamities had been sighted by the Scout outpost from all wind direction!"

"GIVE ME THE ESTIMATION!"

"SIR! ESTIMATEDLY THERE WILL BE AROUND 27.982 AGENTS OF DESTRUCTION! SIR! MOST OF THEM ARE AN A RANK TO S RANK! SIR!"

The center command is located within the center of the Citadel. Director Kryuges stands in front of 56 Scouts' intelligence personnel amassing their fingers upon each of their holographic comms devices. A large screen panel is present, showcasing numerous large red dots filling up the corner of the screen that slowly approach the blue circle representing Amos Citadel in the middle.

"NOTIFY THE SKYLINE FOR REINFORCEMENT!"

"SIR! THE COMMUNICATION WAVE WAS DISRUPTED! SIR!"

Suddenly, the big screen is replaced by the face of a raging woman with antennae. The screen constantly wobbles up and down as if the camera is being shaken.

"KRYUUUGEESSS!"

"MADAM DYAUS!"

"KRYUUUUUUUUGEEEEEEEESSSSS!!"

"MADAM DYAUUUSSSSS!"

"GO FUCKING YEET YOURSELF TO THE SKYLINE! CONTACT BALMUNG BATALLION AND BRING ALL OF THOSE GUARD-BITCHES TO AMOS!"

"YES! MA'M!" Kryuges shifts his determined gaze into one of the hard working operators. "YOU WILL BE IN CHARGE!"

"WHAT!?" shouts the female Aiseirighian.

Kryuges hurriedly leaves the comms chamber to the outside, every stomps echo through the protective hall due to his sheer size that is two times bigger than a normal Aiseirighian, which was already bigger than human average physique.

The female Aiseirighian with the codename of Ashluck is left dumbfounded in the room, it takes five seconds before she regains her composure and begins to lead the Scouts comms center.

Ashluck cast her right hand to the front, gallantly replacing the director in his abrupt absence. "WARN THE CITIZENS TO HIDE INSIDE AND SEND A PERMIT TO THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT TO ACTIVATE THE STRUCTURE FORTIFIER!"

Upon the helipad on top of the Scout department building, Kryuges hears the announcement of action made by the Vagants.

"All non-combatant mustn't leave the buildings before further instructions. I repeat, every citizens must remains inside any building at any cost before further instructions—"

Pair of energy wings with jet propellers on each end has materialized from Kryuges's back. The jet propulsion elevates him high up between the clouds and sky in a small amount of time before he spectates his precious Citadel, slowly getting shrouded by a massive protective barrier.

"Souvelkan omne meita kaikia," Kryuges chants, which means 'may efforts protect us all' in tribal Aiseirighian language.

He boosts himself and leaves a sonic boom into the east where the Skyline is. Upon his journey, he glimpses a wave of vengeful monstrosity in many shapes, corroding the mountainous domain. Three Calamities try to reach Kruyges' height by jumping despite not nearing him in the slightest. The old man has seen civilization rise and fall, he is not audacious enough to fly within their range even if he is able to annihilate most of them with ease—because his mission is to connect with Skyline to request for reinforcement.

Kryuges is going to do it anyway, as he carpet bombs his trail with hazardous explosions.

He covers 4 kilometers in a mere five minutes, only to find the massive wave garrously lining to feast upon the Citadel.

His deep manly voice lets out itself as he contemplates the disastrous event. "Why did the patrolling Scouts on the Silver Border didn't notice this amount of Calamities? Have they been obliterated? But why Amos? There hasn't been any sighted massive Void Gate in this part of the continent. Their movement is too orderly, wait—doesn't that mean!?"

Kryuges ascend more to see a citadel-sized sky shrouding entity where its body length can't be captured in view from one direction, curling and unfurling from cloud to cloud. An A-rank basilisk mutated variant, Suuri Kaarme. Despite the difficulty of its subjugation due to its continental size, the massive serpent doesn't have any world-ending capabilities except negating any communication waves within its vicinity.

"A Suuri Kaarme purposely blocking the comms to the Skyline… As expected—" The old man coats his whole body with potent combustible substances before blasting off at sonic speed onto the serpent's head, leaving a searing giant hole due to the aftermath of an insurmountable explosion before retracting his path into many intersections of the sky snake. He alone has dealt numerous fatal wounds to the Calamity before continuing his journey into the Skyline, ignoring the messed up carcass of continental beast falling to ground.

"An 'Emperor Class' has made its move. Amos mustn't fall at all cost."

Piercing the emergency barrier four times faster than the speed of sound, he has arrived at the Skyline. A grandeur high tech fortress in the sky meant for observation and communication, but why does Kruyges feel that something is wrong? The defensive turrets are all inactive, there is no barrier. The observer should've seen the raging monstrosity that was marching upon Neamh, then why didn't they do anything?

He lands at the stretching platform before rushing into the facility, only to find nobody on his way to the comms center. Ransacking the place for clues to no avail, Kryuges' mind is filled with confusion.

He finds nothing, as if there are no signs of life. Kryuges seek into the great hallway in desperation. A female figure in yellow corset dress is dancing with a dead skeleton, with the ceiling glass letting the ray of light shine down upon those two elegant partners. The wailing of the fallen makes for the music, the forbidden ball has been commenced. Then the dance ends, with the skeleton crumbles to dust and disperse into the wind.

Two eyes with six red pupils glaring with hunger to the old man, coated in pale grey skin, and dons a vicious wide smile. She wears a painter's beret with two black roses on each side of her head, emphasizing the long and extending light-golden puffy twintail that loops to create an infinity pattern. Both of her hands are protected by giant, riveted, and black gauntlets, with the wrist protection blooming out. Yellow corset dress with rigid expanding skirt until the thighs, as six humanoid legs can be seen branching from the same hip, each of them wearing black-steel boots with dimming yellow leggings tucked into the knee-high metal.

"Mammon Greed, a God-Class Calamity." The old man gulps, before materializing two elephant-length sabers, readying his stance. "Souvelkan tuhk istueme tuon poleis shen."

'May my seat be placed in the afterlife.'

I'll be giving my goons a break to rest from their respective dillemma, my self-editing might be bad but it was better than nothing!

Also because I've been absence for two days, I'll be mass releasing the minimum quota until the end of the week so don't be afraid. I've been really tired lately and it's hard to find time for writing daily sometimes, so bear the chaotic schedule for a while!

Love y'all!
