Illid: I am late to this discovery, but I believe that there are reports of human pirates and
outposts still active in "dark space" of course the only ships going through there are the
empires, smugglers, and trade union ships trying to take short cuts.
Mayla: well, I have heard of dark space before, that's the sector of space that was heavily
ravaged by human weapons testing right?
Ridge takes a deep breath and says: that is partially true, there are planets there that
humans used for weapons testing, but the reason it is called the dark space is the fact that
communications from within do not reach outside, of course you can communicate easily
within.
For unknown reasons it is as if there is a bubble around that space that none can see and it
blocks communications from going through, and many methods have been devised to by
pass this, and only a few have succeeded but still it is such a old method that only the
empire has decided to fit their war ships and long range ships with the ability to do so.
Aside from black markets, you cannot find those devices and when you do they are
extremely expensive and are more trouble then they are worth unless your job is to
explore such space. As Illid said, human pirates still operate in such space; the empire
probably has major problems with them on a regular basis
