"Before that, can you at least tell me what's the cause of that?"

I pointed towards the creaking Allpeak Mountain which threatened to start to tremble and fall down any minute.

"Is that really important?" The guy on the left side commented once more, and I was already getting irritated. One more bad interruption this guy gives and I might just swat him towards the base of the mountain.

"It's a phenomenon called the Origin Erosion."

ORIGIN!? I almost blurted that out and good thing that this guy continued talking without delay.

"The Allpeak Mountain is an unnatural source of Natural Energy, and there are an abundance of Origin Trees at the top just beneath the portal. The Origin Erosion is just like a natural calamity, but it only affects Allpeak Mountain. This time it's just a bit stronger than usual, and I can see that a lot of people had died already."
